After years of using SEMRush and Ahrefs, I can say that a vast majority of the time ahrefs has better data.

Compared to SEMRush, I wish there were more options to automatically monitor a site and receive timed updates.

We use ahrefs to plan out marketing efforts, to perform market research, and to verify that our marketing spend is well guided.

I love using the content gap tool. I use it weekly. I also love how much information is available. It is definitely worth the money.

Sometimes the data does not match Google Search Console. Though it is always close, sometimes I worry about the accuracy of the data.

I love how Ahrefs makes SEO so intuitive and simple with both their product and their blog tips. We use it to expand our keyword research, find new topics to cover, analyze our competition, keep track of our rankings, and manage our links profile (inbound & outbound). It's hard for me to pick only one best thing since Ahrefs is so sophisticated, user-friendly and great. There are some things to improve, but no tool is perfect.

Ahrefs doesn't always recognize when a link is "nofollowed" or not, for example from Medium.com (which by default, all links are nofollowed). Not all suggested searches from Google appear in Ahrefs' Keyword Explorer - either because the searches are new and the team didn't manage to fetch them yet, who knows. It's sad that they no longer offer a free plan, so you'll need to do a 7-day trial which doesn't offer you enough time to learn it. I'm an older user, since the days when Ahrefs could have been used for free.

We have recently shifted to ahref and it was move worth. The accurate information which it provides for keywords analysis and backlink analysis is great. I am really impressed with the accurate information that it provides. What I like best the backlinks analysis for our competitors with the direct link to the URL which help us to create backlinks. Also we do keyword research using this tool and find low competition keywords and even can download the list. Apart from this the site audit report which it shares is best and help us to resolve the errors in our website

One aspect that i don't like about this tool that it provides only 25 keyword searches in a day and after that it limits it which I don't like. They should increase the keyword research limit

I like the scope of extensive research. Once I find a seed keyword, I can dig inside the whole business. When it comes to talking about spying on the competitors, Ahrefs is very good and provides data points very effectively and efficiently. The database is also updated very promptly and the live index is very accurate.

The main struggle for me is advertising research. It would be better if it could have that PPC research option as well.

I can analyze, create insights and then further make decisions based on the data provided by the Ahrefs tool. It helps in figuring out what is working for the competitor's website and what may work for my client's website.

It's best all in one seo tool i ever used in my life. Ahrefs comes with , Content explorer, website overview , Broken links , backlinks feature but what i most like out of all is keyword Research tool. I am in love with Ahref. Nothing to hate.

As i already discussed there's nothing to hate about this tool. If you bought this tool. Still not getting results than either you need to change your strategy or you need to change your staff. This tool is all plus plus nothing negative.

It's not very intuitive but once you get to grips with it it's great

The user interface and easy to use tools. The tools are never-ending and you can drill down into as much data as you wish.

Sometimes the data is a little overkill, it could do with a better "snapshot" overview of certain things (E.G Rank Tracker, SERP Analysis)

For me, I find the Backlink Overview Checker to be the among the best out there. I can research any domain and gain a detailed understanding of their Domain Authority and how they got it. It helps me strategize my linkbuilding plan.

Overall the UI can use some work. It feels archaic in a way where tons of information is laid out in front of you excessively. It's hard to keep focus with the amount of data in one page.
