Ahrefs is like a suped-up personal browser into the technical aspects of the web - and if you know how to handle the power under the hood, you can power pretty much any kind of online commerce using Ahrefs as your primary tool.
The learning curve is relatively steep compared to the competition. This is mitigated heavily by a thorough content marketing strategy that includes a hefty share of product-use articles.
The problems being solved with Ahrefs are the SEO problems of our day - keyword research, content strategy and optimization, backlink analytics and acquisition - it functions as a fairly comprehensive one-stop-shop and the benefits are great! All of those problems can be overcome using the tool suite.
This tool makes keyword research easy and effective.
When showing referring domains, it can be dangerous because you can click on a site that can give you a virus.
I primarily use this tool for keyword research and backlink analysis.

Ahrefs offers an incredible amount of power within a flexible tool set. If you can only use one SEO tool, it's the one you should choose. Its new integrations with Google Data Studio is great as well.
The UI isn't as intuitive as it could be, though you can work around its somewhat wonky UX by taking a little bit of time to figure out where things are placed and how the tool works.
We use Ahrefs for a variety of SEO tasks (rank tracking, keyword research, site audits, link analysis, etc.). For most of what we need to do SEO-wise, we're able to get it done with Ahrefs.
So much to like, but my favorite is the site explorer tool so I can see how my site and competitors match up.
Sometimes it can be complicated, but the learning curve tends to be short.
No problems - it is quite expensive however. It does seem more intuitive than other SEO tools I have used.
Ahrefs is a great multipurpose SEO tool that helps me with competitor research, tracking backlinks, and lead prospecting. The Keywords Explorer and Content Explorer help with lead prospecting and are essential to making my lead generation process more effective and targeted. The Ahrefs SEO toolbar is also a great add-on.
I find it more than sufficient for my requirements, no cons yet
Tracking domain SEO metrics Tracking backlinks Keyword and content research Easy competitor analysis
Best SEO tool in market Easily help business to grow online presence in various search engines. Analysis can be done at broader level the best part of it.
Limitation of adding the products in pre defined plan.

The features like keywords analysis, site audits, backlink analysis and competitors' research make this tool more likeable. The tool is very easy to use and the tutorials they provide along with this tool is simply out of this world.
I personally don't have anything to dislike in this tool. One thing to nitpick is it's quite expensive.
Ahrefs help me in website organic growth like content opportunities, keywords analysis, paid ads and a lot more to say.
Ease of use. The amount of features that Ahrefs has to offer, the UX is breeze.
Search Volumes are a bit weird at times. It's nowhere near the Google Keyword Planner tool.
Keyword Research and Competitor Analysis
I use Ahrefs ALL the time to see what the health is of our website and see how organic keywords are ranking and changing month over month. I can use this and other data to better our site and fix broken links and other optimizations. It is really a very useful tool.
Ahrefs is paid for by my employer, so thankfully, they are a larger company that can afford to pay for this plan, which is pretty expensive. I also find it to be slightly confusing since I am not an SEO expert and some of the terms are unfamiliar to me, so I end up researching how to use certain parts of Ahrefs more than I would like.
I use Ahrefs to optimize product pages based on the keyword rakings I export. I absolutely love the crawl reports that show me what needs to be fixed on the site in order to improve overall health. This helps me quickly see any broken links, images, complete any meta descriptions that may be too short or long, and so much more. I love the crawl reports because I otherwise would not be so aware of what could help our site.
Keyword volume data and extensive backlinks extraction
Nothing much. If they provide discounts for startups. It would be helpful.
Finding high-volume keywords.
The platform is extremely user-friendly.
I dislike that they don't have a free version!
Finding relevant keywords for seo opportunities to rank higher and increase traffic.
Best tool for analysis of keywords and competitors. Also the tutorials are best and user friendly
Little bit costly, other than there is nothing to dislike.
Ahrefs is helping us in increasing organic search traffic along with provide detailed analysis of your website and competitors as well.
The backlinks database of Ahrefs is second-to-none. I can see so much backlinks information from my competitor's websites and put it to my advantage. Besides that, the keyword research tool, keyword tracking tool and site audit tools are pretty decent as well.
The monthly subscription is quite pricey, starting at $149. There's a lite plan at $99 but it has numerous limitations. Also, sometimes the keyword research tool will return no results and require the usage of a credit to "update the database".
With just this one tool, I'm able to run end-to-end SEO campaigns for my clients. All my data are kept in one place for easy reference. I'm also able to spy on my competitors more effectively and provide excellent insights for my clients.
Transparency and ease of use. Makes finding important metrics, how to improve them, and tracking competitors and content easy
There is a learning curve if you are new to SEO or the platform but they offer a lot of resources to overcome this.
All of our SEO, competitor reporting, and links, keywords, you name it!
The feature where I can see if the other firm has our backlinks or not :)
NOOOOOOOO Dislikes, please. I love everything about it. It's a kind of magical software for people who are building their website.
It is our majorly used app when link building and approaching guest posts. It fulfills every SEO purpose.
Backlinks Checking and keyword Exploring
Little bit cost higher for beginners and a little bit technical.
It helped me to check the backlink rate for my website.
I mostly use "keyword explorer" to make my keyword research for the blogs. You can analyze the keywords of your competitors also. You can search your desired keywords within no time. Moreover, the feature which I like the most, is link analysis and domain analysis tools. You can easily find link-building opportunities by analyzing the competitors.
Honestly, I do not dislike anything in this tool.
It has various features like keyword research, content research, link analysis, site audit and many more. But I mostly use it for keyword research and domain analysis.
