The ability to benchmark against competitors and also the option to properly deep dive into a competitors site to analyse the search terms that are driving traffic to their site. This informs our SEO and content strategy across different countries and I believe provides us with a competitive edge and a real ability to show tangible results.

The depth of information that is available has really helped us with our digital marketing efforts. Allowing our multidiscipline team to work cohesively on our projects which we haven't been able to achieve with other tools. Our account manager is fantastic at training us on the features and how we can put them to use.
There are no downsides. There is a lot to learn, but the more time you spend to understand the tools features the more valuable the information is.

Semrush has features that grow exponentially almost daily. They are now my go-to for nearly everything, including advertising automation and social media posting. The growth I've seen in what tools are available is pretty incredible.
There are still certain platforms that do not integrate for social media posting and advertising, but I'm sure that will change shortly. I also wish I could have ad reports done through Semrush on current running ads and their performance rather than using a separate tool that I don't care too much for. I have tried to create reports such as this, and it may be operator error, but I have yet to be successful with a professional and comprehensive ad report.
The research capabilities are like no other platform out there, and I've tried all of them. The information gained with the tools can be applied to improve nearly every aspect of a brand for a client, not just SEO.

The ease of use is pretty good, and being able to blitz through a research task in double quick time with the minimum of fuss it’s truly remarkable and the developers ought to be applauded for the hard work and effort they put into making this as user-friendly and affective as could possibly be up to now.
I’m not a fan of The big price of subscription although of course most subscribers would most likely say the same. As more subscribers come on board, let’s hope market economic dictate that price has come down and people are rewarded for their loyalty and longevity as subscribers.

Semrush saves so much time which in our business equates to $$$. I used to collate reports from multiple sources, now I simply have Semrush do all the hard research for me and I just do the work. Results have improved and my reporting is so much better.

Where do I start??! Time and time again, SEMrush has proven to have the most accurate research and results with SEO and SEM. Plus, the platform is easy to use. Additionally, being part of the "SEMrush family" has been amazing. Fast support, great education through their blogs and social media posts, and a great community overall.
Price. All tools are expensive, but SEMrush adds up when you're inviting team members, adding locations to listing management, and ordering custom reports. For most clients, it's a cheap cost, but multi-location clients + enterprise client research can get expensive!
Our goal when purchasing SEMrush (and renewing it since 2017), was to gather accurate and actionable SEM/SEM data for our analyses and optimizations. The toolset can be a bit overwhelming for a newcomer. There are lots of resources provided by Semrush such as onscreen tips, blogs, ebooks, SEO Academy, webinars, and more that help - it will take a newcomer time to learn the power of this tool. Would like to see the tools sorted by sequence for newcomers to the SEO world. For example, If you are new to SEO, do this first, this second...etc to begin gettnig the biggest bang. Skip the sorting sequence for all experienced folks to get right to it.
As a non-technical person who is building out a website, there are so many things to do that it becomes overwhelming. In addition, without Semrush, there would be no chance for me to understand what is preventing my website from being found and performing well. The Semrush toolset provides deep levels of information on what is going well and what is going wrong. The toolset also tells me what actions to take in order to improve.

I use the social media posting and keyword gap tools the most. It makes searching for keywords easy! Creating a social media calendar for my clients is easy with the posting tools.
The price is very fair for SEM Rush. My biggest complaint is the price for adding on users. I feel it's a little high and would add more users if it wasn't so high.
I am able to determine the right keywords my websites need. I love the reporting tools, they connect with Google Analytics and Search Console to help find the right keywords.
EVERYTHING that SEMrush offers to online marketers. I am mostly using it for doing competitive research, keyword research, and technical SEO (Site Audits). Love how they enhance current features and come up with new ones every now and then based on trending topics. I love to attend their SEO webinars as well as informative blogs. I can't imagine my day at work without using this amazing tool. I have used a couple of other tools as well but the way SEMrush represents data in reports is so easy to understand and it's so helpful to improve our digital marketing strategies based on the explanations & suggestions they provide for each topic in the tool itself. Also, it offers the best subscription prices compared to any other tool in the market.

Running Site Audits on a regular cadence help me identify issues that I should work on next to improve my website in terms of providing the best user experience and improving rankings. Competitive Research helps me keep eye on competitor's SEO and SEM strategies.
