Exclusive savings on Wix through Findstack Deals
I like the many, different template options available to choose from, as well as the ease of use. Most everything is very intuitive.
I don't particularly like the cost of securing a custom domain name, however that will be a problem anywhere. As far as ease of use, there isn't much I can complain about.
I am able to quickly and easily produce professional looking websites for various campaigns my company puts on.
I like Wix tools though it's not my website design builder of choice, I have used Wix in the past. Websites turn out clean and very responsive. Not only is it easy to use, Wix does most of the work for you using the New ADI method.
From my experience in the past, the pricing strategy that Wix have can cut into budgets.

Great website building tool for beginners. Wix is extremely user-friendly and easily learned by oneself. You can create a pretty powerful website using Wix (especially being that it is free).
I don't really have a problem with anything other than I wish it offered a better transactional method to sell besides PayPal links.
I am using this for my personal business creating awareness about my products by educating end-users on the benefits of all-natural beauty.
There are a few sites available for budding website creators and i try them all, however there are a few reasons i keep going back to Wix. Their drag and drop features make building a website as easy as can be. There are hundreds of templates to get you started which makes it a less daunting task than starting with a blank page. Remember if there isn't a template that fits perfectly, it can be changed at your will. You can toggle between Full site and mobile view to make sure your site is optimized when viewing on a smart phone. They have various third party "plug ins" for calendars, restaurants, some free some for a small fee. You can also easily set up your domain through them along with Google email.
One draw back is (as far as i can tell) no facility to allow people to click directly from a telephone number from the mobile view and call the company. Small setback, but still significant enough that you'd expect the designers to update this soon.
Wix gives us the power to create and manage our website in house, with significant savings versus outsourcing to a third party. We can update details on the spot
Wix offers a wide variety of customizations in their website templates. You can add animations to text as well as different third party applications. If you chose to sign up for the free version only, there will only be a few Wix ads on your site, similar to other competitors. The layout is clean and I have had no issues teaching some clients how to use Wix.
If you want to put a blog on your Wix site, you may be short out of luck. You can't optimize the blog for SEO or customize certain aspects of it. For people using Wix for other purposes, this con can be avoided.
When creating a website for a client, Wix offers a fast and easy way to design a template. It is great for modeling potential layouts and creating a crisp-looking design.
There a lot of tools and app that you can include in you website. I love the opportunity to create a business website/application, with market, polls, maps and so on. It's really easy to use, fast and you can easily find what you're searching for. It's cool the social integration (facebook and so on).
There is no version control or "multi user" and no possibility to work "in team". poor for user, role, and access Management i think.
I've create some personal and professional website with that tools, without using code or database and so on. No visual studio or something like this. Just use apps and wizard and everything works fine.
- Ease of use - beautiful templates, with many design choices - The ability to make website extremely fast and allow user to make changes quickly.
- Price for removal of ads is high. - Would like there to be some better choices
- Making website quickly. - Making website maintenance easy for any user to update.
The user interface is really straightforward. I have some web design experience in the past and I was blown away with just how far these all-in-one web-based design suites have come. It really has come to a point where just about anyone with an idea can make a professional-looking website.
For someone who knows some HTML and CSS it's a little tough to get "behind the curtain" and make changes to the code when the WYSIWYG editor isn't doing exactly what you want to happen.
I designed a full website for my brother's small business and he's already received inquires directly from having the site.
Wix has a straightforward interface and makes it easy to edit.
Not much to dislike. Some of the more advanced features can be difficult to find and use but everything can be tracked down through help archives.
We use Wix to host a couple of different websites. We are able to use Wix to enable online donation collection for a Non-profit.
Ease of use! What takes hours in other platforms, is mere minutes in Wix. i.e. Animations, integrations, transitions)... transfering a paid website rights between differnt designs, and much functionality other sites do not offer,
UX is not consistent throughout the experience.... foir example type styling and theme management. They appear in different manner, and with different options (i.e. sometimes you can modify font weight or size, but sometimes you can only use pre-exiting styles). Also, the canned animations sometimes miss important properties (for example, the ability to change a logo on a moving top menu (important, as menu can shift from transparent to solid color and logo needs to turn negative, or be smaller). Another pet peeve is the limited site versioning, and the confusing internal staging, the inability for an agency to duplicate sites for a customer, an a few other UX incositencies throughout. Despite offering a pretty robust user management dashborad, they should also shift to collaborative design (like Webflow, Figma, and others) where you can leave comments on parts of the site to other editiors and designers.
Super easy modular web design, yet with enough options to feel bespoke.
I enjoyed the SEO help and the website/blog analytics. It helped me to identify organic keywords to target in my site and blog posts. Wix is inexpensive and easy to use, so we relied on it heavily for the first year after we started our business.
We eventually "outgrew" Wix and moved our site to Hubspot. We needed the CRM functionality and all the other advanced features that Hubspot offers.
We built our website entirely in Wix. It helped us bring in customers for the first year through organic SEO.
I like the way Wix has helped me to easily create stunning websites using free templates offered by the vendor. It's website templates are visually attractive. Has great customer support. Ease of use
My overall experience with Wix is remarkable...nothing to dislike towards it.
Website setup and creation.
The best thing i like about Wix is its drag and drop feature that build the website very easily.
I don't face any issue except its loading time which is more than usual.
it is solving the issue of creating a website in affordable amount within minutes.
The amazing feature of wix is that it always keep our website pagespeed high. If I talk about other websites builder i e wordpress cms it slower down the website. This causes lower rating of our website on Google Search.
There are limited number of modules in the wix website builder. They should add more functionality in their website builder so more and more user will come to take advantage.
I am not too good in coding. So wix helps me alot in designing the beautiful and responsive website with the help of Drag and Drop Magic. I don't write a single line of code with wix and my website get ready
Even for a complete novice like me Wix provides the tools to build a great-looking site at a low cost.
Once set up, the site is tricky to edit with an overwhelming number of choices. The Add sidebar alone has 21 different options. For me the editing could do with being simpler.
Helps with promotions. I offer several different speaking choices, which can be confusing. So I send potential clients to the site so that they can select the speaker that is best suited for their needs rather than have me try to explain. It definitely saves me time and gives my business credibility.
Wix helped me develop websites very easily and is super easy to use. The costing is also justified. It has templates which makes development of websites very easy. It has amazing features which helps me to add functionalities to my website very easily.
The speed and bandwidth of the websites made using wix are not good which decreases the user experience and it is diffcult to customize the websites using coding.
I built many websites using wix quickly and it saved me a lot of time and resources. With Wix I used the templates and it made my work a lot easier and the add on functinoalities provided by Wix helped me make my websites more dynamic.
It's such an easy tool to get everything set up in one shot. You can create your domain, set up your hosting and get right to building your website. Whether you choose a template or start from scratch, the whole thing is easy and simple to use. You can even optimize your site for mobile in a snap without any hiccups or searching google with how-to's.
It is a bit pricy compared to other hosting services, but that's probably because you're paying for the ease and flexibility that the web designer offers so if you're just starting out it's not a bad investment, but most likely something you'd want to move off of after a few years.
It's an easy platform to use. You don't have to figure out the complexities of Wordpress and you don't have to be an expert at html and css coding. You can literally sign up and start building your website in the same day with ease and little knowledge of how to even build a website.
Things I like about working with Wix User-Friendly Interface Wide Range of Stunning Templates Versatile Functionality Mobile Optimization Extensive Support and Resources
Things Wix needs to improve Limited Design Flexibility Template Limitations Ads and Branding Limited Data Export Pricing Structure While Wix offers a wide selection of templates, some users may desire more control and customization options over the design elements. Providing more flexibility in terms of layout, font choices, and advanced design features would enhance the platform's appeal to users who seek a truly unique and tailored website design.
Wix solves the problem of complex website development by providing a user-friendly interface and drag-and-drop editor, eliminating the need for coding knowledge. It offers diverse templates and designs, saving users time and effort in creating visually appealing websites. Additionally, Wix provides versatile functionality with built-in features and integrations, simplifying the process of adding e-commerce, blogs, and other functionalities to websites. Overall, Wix benefits users by making website creation and management accessible, efficient, and customizable.
