Its seamless integration with as much as free plugins & marketing tools like Mail Chimp lets beginner-level marketers grow their audience base and promote their services.
Building a WordPress platform is suitable for all. But, when it comes to customization, we hesitate to invest as it will be expensive. Also, being an open-source platform - vulnerability is one of the significant drawbacks.
It helps me not to depend on the developers and stay out of coding to build a website. Also, it saves a lot of time & money with plug-ins to have the website more functional.
It is still an industry standard CMS for anyone who needs to manage or build a website - which is practically any and every business. I appreciate that it is highly supported by Wordpress itself but also a lot of content creators. You can find tutorials easily online.
I can't think of anything major. Perhaps frequency of updating gets annoying, but it's the nature of staying secure.
It is solving the need to manually manipulate and create code from scratch. It saves loads of time and endless tweaking.
I created my 1st website on wordpress.com and at that time I did not have the funds to onboard a web developer hence I have to do it aby my self and it was very easy to do so with wordpress.com
not much mostly all the feature or plugins i was using were good but yes you get a lots of updates on wordpress and not all have to be installed so please check on that
For a small business owners like me, to have a website is a must but many are not able to do so due to lack of expertise and fund but with WordPress
How easy it is for it to integrate with literally anything we need!
The UI is still a little dated and could be updated some.
They make it really easy for us to build out all of our clients sites as well as easy to send data to and from multiple sources.
Wordpress is the best CMS on all points. Easy to install and to contribute, a huge and reactive community. We use it as a base for many of our sites and it's a real pleasure to work on it.
The negative points are quite few, but it is important to know that the site under wordpress often privileged targets for hackers, so it is important to maintain it regularly updated to avoid bad surprises.
This is a great basis for building a site and maintaining it over time. The contribution part is relatively easy to use and the customization possibilities are almost infinite There are also a lot of plugins that allow to make the site evolve as you want.
Easy to use and customizable by adding plugins as and when we want.
Nothing much as of now since I find it to be useful. So no major complaints
I have started my journey as a website developer and WordPress.com is the go-to for beginners.
WordPress.com is the place where I can start developing websites quickly without thinking much. WordPress.com is basically a hosting provider that provides hosting based on WordPress CMS. It comes with thousands of themes and plugins, making it easier for small businesses to develop websites without spending much on infrastructure.
i) Too many options for themes and plugins create confusion. ii) Due to the popularity of WordPress, it gets on the radar of spammers. iii) Using heavy themes and plugins can make the site slower
WordPress.com provides is hosted version of the most popular Content Management System, WordPress Software. The availability of so many themes, pre-built templates and plugins makes it easier for me to deploy a website at a least amount of time.
It is easy to use, drag and drop features is flexible and providing the opportunity to design the website as per need in just couple pf hours. It has regular updates on theme and plugins so that we are save from threat effect
In my using experience WordPress is best CRM to manage and handle website easily as compared to other php framework.
Easy to learn, can update same post many times also have options of revision in which we can restored the previous version. Help to make our organization branding online over Internet. Help to show our services in intuitive way
WordPress truly is a one-stop shop for development savvy or first-time website creators. While its best features and wealth of customization are aimed at those with development knowledge, most beginners can get a site live and working when combining WordPress with a third-party provider and get an install up and running in minutes.
WordPress has very few things that I dislike honestly. The creative and front/back-end control level I get in the build process is far above any competitor. If I had to choose anything, it would be the "blocks" builder recently introduced as the default page builder. It's clunky, non-intuitive, and poorly designed. It offers little to no visual ability to preview changes on the fly and can be frustrating to implement designs. As a result, I consistently implement sites using a theme and plugin such as Elementor.
WordPress has made building and managing a professional website accessible to nearly anyone who wants to create one. However, it excels beyond it's competitors by not just allowing templated designs and gated content features. As a result, you can scale from a single-page informational site to a multi-functional e-commerce business site with minimal effort and add support functions or server-based redundancies with the click of a button.
Professional standard aura, ability to integrate plugins, SEO optimization and easy to use.
Nothing so far as I'm enjoying every bit of it
I'm benefiting personally as it has helped me in building more professional skill from SEO optimization to building a website that converts for small business owners
We can create a website without coding a single line.
Websites created in wordpress contain bugs.
While websites are essential for any online business to stand out from the crowd, Wordpress makes it easier for non-programmers to create a good website for free.
WordPress is very easy to use for beginners. There is a simple dashboard with different menu options listed in the sidebar. We can easily create posts and pages, customize your website design as per our needs, add navigation menus, and many more.
The set up process seems complicated, it's somewhat expensive to maintain, and there is a bit of headache to keep worrying about code, maintenance and the website getting hacked.
It is being used as a content management system (CMS) to host and build the website. The architecture is being used to customize as per the fit of the business, and also for getting customer feedbacks
Wordpress has everything, it is easy to set up and fully customisable. We work installing technology on a lot of website builders so get a lot of exposure. Our opinion is: Best = WP > SquareSpace > Duda > Wix = Worst
I think the biggest turn off for our clients is the lack of ease of use. They could easily have a Simple mode and an advance mode to try to address this. The other issue with Wordpress is that lots of beginners set it up wrong and quite frankly create 'bad' WP builds which makes WP look bad. The problem here was not WP, it was the developer that built it, but WP does not protect against such mistakes.
Building websites and performing installations across a whole range of different sites. We run about 200 websites on wordpress and host another 100 more. It really is the best CMS out there.
I like that WordPress makes it easy to add new content to your website, whether it's a blog or a page. And it's also incredibly easy to use and rearrange the menus, add photos, etc. It's a very user-friendly platform if you aren't an HTML or CSS expert. But at the same time, HTML and CSS experts can help you set it up so you get the best possible version.
It can be confusing to know how to use it until you've set up a few pages, posts, menus, etc. It isn't always intuitive in where you find things and how things work together. And a random small thing -- I also typically find strange spacing issues when using the headline tags and bullets ... regardless of what template or CSS is being used. Random, but true.
We use WordPress for our company's website, and it has been a huge improvement in being able to update the website, change navigation, add new pages or blogs or events, and generally just to keep our clients updated and happy through our website. It also integrates well with our email software.
Wordpress is one of the best CMS I have ever used. I have built all my sites using Wordpress. The best part of using it is its community support and vast library of themes and plugins.
There's nothing to dislike, I'll have to think for hours and hours to find one drawback of using Wordpress.
With the help of wordpress, I am able to create websites without having to worry about coding, backend, or anything that's required to build fully functional websites. The best part is that there are hundreds of themes available which can be easily setup to start using Wordpress. Backups can be integrated into cloud storage, migrations are easy, and automating things is also easy.
WordPress content management system is really clean cut, unique and straightforward, i like the ease of use from getting your site developed to going live, learning curb is pretty easy.
many times there will be updates to plugins or WordPress itself which in turn may break plugins, a little backward compatibility at times will do well as to not have any downtime in reverting.then again that what staging sites should be for
with WordPress i solving many problems such as not having to dive deep into the coding of developing a website anymore and can do it as fast as possible, it makes develop to finish site much faster
The Support The Plugins Ease of creation of sites
Mostly tough to run ecommerce sites on wordpress
Problems includes the learning customisation for speed improvement Benefits would be the fast creation of websites and blogs with minimal or no coding knowledge
I love how people can customize their website using WordPress to execute the look and feel they have been looking for. Plugins allow users to search and implement new widgets, tasks, automation, and more.
I think WordPress could do a better job of guiding users (especially new users) through tasks to set up and maintain their websites. A WordPress on CMS trainer would be beneficial for all users. As someone who has experience operating around the CMS there are still many basic things that I'm discovering.
People often approach me asking how to build their website; WordPress solves a lot of their problems with its versatility, from eCommerce to hosting a variety of media types. The use of Elementor has provided so many benefits to the people I interact with.
It's free and easy to use. There are lots of themes and plugins you can add which removes the need for developers
No downsides that I can think of as a user of 10+ years
Being able to develop a website and blog that looks great quickly
It is a very good and user-friendly platform for all bloggers who considers it as a hobby. It is free for upto 3GB of space. Adding website content is very fast and simple and making updates are very easy.
It has a very poor Search Engine Optimization ranking. Sometimes the website goes down without any notice. Even the pages have very slow speed. There are also website vulnerability issues in using WordPress.
We are using WordPress as a blogging tool to design our own web page and updating contents from time to time. We also make important communications through pages and comments as well.
