WooCommerce is the top choice for eCommerce businesses on WordPress. While it’s not a standalone site builder, it works seamlessly with the WordPress environment which makes it easy to use and simple, even for beginners. Anyone familiar with WordPress will find WooCommerce a great tool as they attempt to build out their site. WooCommerce works well with add-ons and integrations, with tools that include email marketing, social media selling, and one-click upsells. It does require basic coding know-how and developer insight as you scale the site, but learning the ins and outs of the platform ultimately makes management of the site so much simpler.

WooCommerce is incredibly customizable. There are hundreds of extensions available, both free and premium, that you can integrate with or do almost anything. And if there isn't an extension, with a little development you can create your own or pay someone else to write it for you.
The cost of WooCommerce adds up quickly when you need or want to add a lot of extensions. Some things that other platforms provide out of the box come at a premium with WooCommerce. That said, most of those platforms don't have the customization options you can get with WooCommerce if you are willing to pursue custom development.
Our team uses WooCommerce to bring eCommerce to our clients' WordPress sites. We have several clients that use a basic version of WooCommerce but many of our applications have very custom solutions with a lot of custom developed extensions.
its easy to add to the website as a wordpress plugin and it provides wide number of currecy types and allowed to add most of the payment gateways with one click.
No adware or malware protection for the file directory however it's possible to protect the installation with a separate antivirus software internally.
Adding to my e-commerce sites and managing the products and sales through Woocommerce fast and more accurately.
The easy integration, pricing and the options being provided in the form of plugins such as Livechat and jetpack.
At times, some of the plugins are really high priced and i need to find alternatives based on the functionality.
I am now easily able to create, deploy and release my websites online. Jetpack is my favourite as it has a combination of various plugins integrated into one. Purging caches or modifying some scripts comes really handy and easy with this. Apart from that, woocommerce library is vast to choose from what i like.
I love the virtual features, which enable the buyers to receive their download links, almost instantly as the payment is cleared either via PayPal API or credit card. The coupon features are very useful, for promotional campaigns. Best of all, the ability to integrate 3rd party software like MailChimp, enabling all customers' emails to be automatically entered into the MailChimp list.
Add ons are expensive, and are recurring yearly payments. This is grossly exaggerated. Most of the high-end features have to be purchased as subscriptions separately.
WooCommerce is our driving engine for sales. This is not an understatement when I say that all of our online sales would be impossible to generate without WooCommerce. WooCommerce is crucial to the success of our business.
WooCommerce works well with WordPress. The best past of WooCommerce it is easy to install and functions proper with popular payment processors.
The learning curve is medium and setting up for shipping charges with percentages was a litttle difficult.
WooCommerce is now working well with my clients products and audio books are instantly downloaded with no issues.
I'll go one by one. The first thing I like about woo-commerce is its simplicity, anyone with basic knowledge can start their eCommerce journey with woocommerce. Second, most of the features you need to run your business for the first 1m in sales are free. The third is security. Despite being free service it doesn't compromise with security of your and your customer's data.
Hard to say about dislike but i see some features going paid and we need to use alternative plugins to fix that. Like Woocommerce Payments. There are a few more that should be kept free for small stores that can't afford to pay.
Problems I faced with Shopify are now solved with woocommerce. One of them is heavy and easy customization of the website features. The second is Shopify charges 2.5% fees for every txn which I fixed with woocommerce. Big thanks for that. 2.5% really adds up to big number when you're doing high sales.
WooCommerce has a ton of integrations to fit our needs. We were able to cover all of our bases without any compromise. From payment processing to stock management, it has it all.
Some of the extensions are pricey for what they are, but they are typically worth it or an alternative can be found.
No problems, benefits include automation of processing and easy product posting UI
Plenty of things I like in WooCommerce: 1) It's a free platform to start your Online Store. 2) It is compatible with WordPress which is also free. So, No cost apply here. 3) You can add thousands of products and manage them very easily. 4) Setting Payment Methods, Managing users, Adding Shipping Methods etc are very easy. 5) Add Variable products very easy based on colours, sizes.
WooCommerce is a very Good Platform but also have some Cons: 1) WooCommerce do not have a detailed tracking system. 2) Since WooComerce is a plugin, It can only be used in WordPress.
1) You have now an Online Store in your hand to start a business. 2) With the help of Woocommerce, I am solving the b2c problems. 3) Now you can add products and remove them very easily. Make modifications on prices and set them in stock and Out of Stock.
The community around WooCommerce is so large and active, that I am sure to find the plugin or the documentation necessary to achieve my goals
Official paid tools are quite expensive.
Thanks to WooCommerce, I can offer my customers roughly all solutions to sell products and services.
Wocommerce is the best plugin I have ever used. It helps me to organize my order, my customer data, and other information about my business. It's easy to use and easily accessible. I also appreciate their shop theme that helps me to organize my product on my webpage and it's beautiful with demo data so that anyone can easily edit the product from the demo data. I use their mobile app too which helps me to get order notifications as soon as possible. Also, I can add downloadable products on the product page, customers can just place orders and get access to download them which is an awesome feature. My business is growing with the help of wocommerce and its amazing features. It also has some additional settings, addons to make the product more accurately saleable. It's an awesome plugin with themes, addons.
The mobile app is good enough to track real-time data of orders. for this reason, sometimes I miss my important orders from my customers. It needs to be bug-free and updated and speed optimization too. Also, the payment system needs to add internally.
I changed my full business to online-based when the covid started. to make the online presence of my business helps me to take orders, track them and keep customer data up to date. It also helps me sell my product all over my country because my customers can easily log in to my shop website and check out the product and place an order. Order placing and payment method is so smooth that users can place orders easily. My business was about to get down but Wocommerce help me to organize my online shop, reach a broad amount of customers and get back my new look of business. I sold more and more product with the help of Wocommerce.
I have been following my path with woocommerce for several years, I can install other eCommerce managers, be it Magento, prestashop or others, but I always end up with woocommerce, in itself, what I love is its integration with wordpress, that good CMS system, the number of plugins you can install is impressive, free and paid.
I don't have things that I don't like about woocommerce; they are so few that I can go unnoticed. I know there are dedicated systems for eCommerce, I still prefer woocommerce. Really.
I use approximately seven payment gateways, and fortunately, all of them accept woocommerce, and the best, with free plugins, from credit or debit cards to cryptocurrencies.
It is the best e-commerce plugin for WordPress, and its integration allows us to include both great SEO and e-Commerce availability. It also has the best responsive design
It doesn't come with support for any payment gateway, and it's not accessible to set up shipping solutions.
It is easily customizable through themes and is of open source code. It helps in achieving any custom functionality with straightforward and practical design options and with full control of our data
The most helpful aspect of Woocommerce is the ease of setting up the plugin. That and also that Payfast works seemlessly with Woocommerce is a massive plus for a small business
To be honest, there aren't many things I dislike. If I had to name one, it would probably be that you have to purchase different plugins, for example, Subscriptions, etc., if you want to add that functionality to your store, which would be more helpful if included.
Selling online courses, workshops, and other offerings such as marketing and website building services for startups. I also run subscriptions via Woocommerce, which is a fantastic feature
Quality product at an highly affordable price and good product for beginners to start and invest their tiime and money. I like woocommerce as its easy to use and cheap. Thanks
One thing I dislike is no customer support. Whenever, I face a technical glitch or some relevant issues, I am unable to find help. There is no active community to support.
Major problem that I am solving is taking my business to online and grab the big market share. Moreover, the major benefit is its cheap for me as compare to others.
WooCommerce is unimaginably flexible and can be applied to different deals applications. Memberships, groups, following, transporting, thus considerably more can be taken care of easily with their huge library of modules and mixes. You will know precisely what is the deal with your deals. Its comppletely free.
I haven't observed anything I don't like regarding this item. Everything is straightforward, permitting you to set up your shop rapidly, carry it to automaticity and partake in an extraordinary encounter.
Now we can sell our own manufactured products online. Woocommerce is genuinely an excellent method for making a web-based store. In a hurry, we can deal with every single item data like value, SKU, markdown coupons every single thing we can oversee from any place. Just required web association for oversee store. Additionally, very nearly 0 technical information is needed for utilizing the framework. Also, another incredible thing was Woocommerce couldn't take any single penny for making a store or on special, which thing is Impossible with different stages.
