I set up a shop in WordPress from scratch using the Woocommerce plugin. It allows me to promote my brand, make a profit, and give users a straightforward interface. The customization options enable me to customize WOo the way I want it to be, achieving uniqueness. Woo allows you to set up shop. If you do not know programming or scripting, All you have to do is drag and drop blocks, fill in forms, and that's it. It's just amazing.

I love that it is an add-on in Wordpress intermediary for stripe payments.

Tricky getting Quickbooks to sync properly to the correct account.

We started off using Paypal for our subscriptions, but that is really clunky for managing them. It became a spreadsheet nightmare. Then at the recommendation of my bookkeeper, we started creating recurring transactions in Quickbooks. This worked a bit better, but I had to get a BTA(ACH Auth) or CC Auth for each customer and every time something changed, I had to create a document, send it for their approval and this too was clunky. We decided to create our own payment portal on our website using Woocommerce. It's worked very well and it's easy to quickly look at the subscriptions/orders in the back office of WordPress site. Bonus, I no longer have to gather customer billing information. Also the client can change their subscription information such as a card, etc. on our website. Makes is quicker and easier for all parties.
