Those with coding experience can use the Wix Editor to perform personalizations and add custom-built features. Design tools include a logo maker while marketing capabilities such as a comprehensive e-commerce platform, built-in search optimization tools, and a native appointment scheduling software can be enjoyed out of the box.

Wix is a great platform if you are not used to building websites and need a little help getting started or if you have some experience, but lack the technical know-how to get a project off the ground.
One of the things I struggle with is getting my images compressed on the site itself. I have yet to find a workaround for this, but I am Sure there is one!
Wix is terrific at helping you get started with your website. Even if you do not plan on using any of their templates, they still inspire.
Wix is a great tool for representing your business from a professional side while keeping logistics and practicalities in mind. It is easy to use and requires little to no training. My favorite feature as a Client Onboarding Specialist is the messaging dashboard within wix. You do not have to pay anything extra to access this feature. It allows you to message each client who filled out a contact form there instead of having to go through email.
I cannot think of anything that is wrong with Wix. Me and everyone in my team love using it and we have not experienced any downsides.
Wix is a great tool because you can integrate with other platforms. We use Integromat, Zapier, and Cognito forms on the site and they have all worked great with Wix. We accept payments using Stripe in Cognitoforms in Wix (inception there) and it has allowed us to automate most of our system! This requires much less maintenance, ensures consistency, and is very cost effective.
I like the Wix Corvid software but wish the name was a little better
I dislike the name they choose for their Corvid software, because it resembles COVID-19
I am a Wix Partner and am hoping to help out other businesses with their websites and advertising.
Wix is a great website that offers everything from website building to SEO optimization to customer messaging (right there on the website).
I wish each wix account was belonging to only one “website”. I know the workaround for this is to just create an account for each website, but I would prefer if the first thing I saw when logging in was “my site”.
One of the best features is their message center which allows you to reply to customer emails and messages from your wix account dashboard rather than sending email. It is a cost effective crm alternative.
Wix is a dream to work with if you have a very simple and straightforward business. Like if you are a lawyer and you need a blog, a page about you, and a page to contact.
For more complex sites needing e-commerce or booking systems, you could Upgrade with Wix, but pErsonally I think this is a waste. Instead I would recommend using a software targeted towards online stores
Wix is very straightforward but allows for maximum customization without needed advanced skills.
Wix is a superb online website builder. Their drag and drop feature is the most user-friendly tool I have used in a long time and all new and old employees know how to handle their interface instinctually.
There is some frustration among our team about the menu options and how they seem to be more complicated than they need to be. I, however, have nothing negative to say about Wix. Their entire program is very intuitive.
Being able to either create a website for a specific purpose (long-term project separate from main brand) or even for a campaign in minutes vs hours or even days. Wix allows you to use their AI to create, but even if you start from "scratch" via one of their templates, you can create a website in a very short time.
Wix is a tremendous asset to any business, small or large. It takes the hard work of developing a website and completes most if not all of the work for you. Some of my favorite features include; SEO integration, Drag and drop features, library of stock images, easy learning curve, and responsive customer service.
To be honest, there is not much to dislike about Wix. It is my choice of a website builder whenever I am starting a new project (except for e-commerce, there I am looking for targeted website builders). If I had to mention one thing, it is easy to add too many options or features to your site and that will leave the user with a conflicted experience. That is why it is good to have someone create the website that is either A) an expert in consumer behavior, B) a website developer or C) a robot. Option C is included in Wix for free: you can use their AI technology to create a simple and practical website. No human error included.
Wix is beneficial for those of us who know how to target, move consumers to purchase, and design, but do not know how to develop a website from scratch. I personally use Wix for all my professional needs, including, but not limited to, my online resume.
Here are the features I like the best about wix: 1. Drag and drop creation (no need for coding experience) 2. Advanced and fancy features (like a slideshow) 3. Ability to add your own domain or buy one through Wix 4. Free version for testing out options for the website
Here is what I do not like as much: 1. Their loading speed is low 2. Their photos are too large 3. The customization, although good is lacking
How to create websites for free or for very little money. You can start with a basic free plan and upgrade as you go. You only need one user for several websites which is great because you won't have to log in and out as much.
We use Wix for all our couples and their wedding websites. This is because Wix has the most customization and features out there compared to more traditionally branded "Wedding Websites". So, okay, it is not made to be a wedding website, but it works nonetheless. If you are in need of a portfolio of your work online as well, this is a great place to start!
It can be a real hassle if the bride and groom have already purchased a domain somewhere else and wants to transfer it to the wix site we have created for them. Sometimes it links immediately, and sometimes we have to retry 3 times a day for a week before it works. Not sure if this could be an issue with the domain servers, but I have a feeling it is with Wix, because many get their domain from the same place and have no issues.
A wedding website is not something you want to hire a team of web developers for, to put it like that, but it is also a website that you kind of want to look perfect. Wix makes it easy to set up a website in a few hours.
I love that it is so beautifully made and that the entire builder is made to produce beautiful and engaging websites. I learned how to use wix at a company class and it was so much fun that I now create websites for family and friends as well as a side hustle. A great way to make some extra money for college! Everyone needs a good website and wix makes everyone a website designer.
I dislike all the advertisement that is spread on your page until you upgrade and I really hate that you cannot show the website without it in preview. It always means I can't see the page or website properly until my client (or me) have upgraded their hosting/domain.
Wix has helped me launch a whole new kind of career on the side. I no longer rely on money from typical student jobs (food service, retail), but instead I make websites for people I know and that makes me much happier, teaches me about business principles and makes me more prepared for the "real" world.
