I switched to Duda when Adobe announced EOL for Business Catalyst. I chose Duda because it allowed for granular design control via both widgets and HTML/CSS without becoming wonky or clumsy. I especially love: - easy to use and customize templates - ability to create from scratch - control over site fonts and color palettes - agency and client access to edit the site - ease of implementation of mobile sites - simple integration with apps
Duda can be adapted for nonprofit organizations, but there are no fundraising-specific widgets.
Duda allows me to quickly develop beautiful sites that my clients can edit.
Duda is very intuitive for building websites for my clients. The templates speed up the build process to deliver on time.
I'm not technical, sometimes after the websites have been published and I run a SEM Rush report, it will show errors or issues, and I have a hard time learning how to fix the errors
Duda helps provide a small business website for my clients. It allows them to present a professional image to their potential clients with their website. I am able to develop these websites in a much faster and easier way than with other website platforms.
The White Label, & sales resources. I have sold twice the websites I could have sold on my own. With Duda’s resources & white label solutions - it gave me the confidence to go in a business with feeling I could really help people! I've tried numerous other Website Builders as a freelancer & Duda is the only one, so far, that has stuck. Of course there are alot of improvements that could be made, but they really try to listen to the community feedback & do a great job of rolling out constant updates every month.
It’s not really a big issue, but the e-commerce options could be better. Especially for the native Duda E-commerce 'solution'. Until they fix digital downloads to be for Music Artists needing to upload their CDs of more than 10+ songs, or the other limitations it has - it will not compare to something like Ecwid. I also believe their membership plan would be so great if we could just have the ability to customize the sign-up form instead of only allowing it to ask for email and passwords. This is a 'CUSTOM' solution multiple clients need & it feels icky that I have to pay for a 3rd party solution like MemberSpace to simply have a custom sign-up form. Again, these are things I've posted on the idea board & can't wait till Duda can implement these updates!
Helping my design process become more efficient & allowing me more time to focus on new clients as well as keep my current clients happy!
We have built thousands of WordPress websites over the years, and while WP offers great functions and add-ons, most of these are standard in Duda. We love the fact that Duda is easy to use in our team and collaborates with external teams and clients. The main reason for the change has been security, hosting and simple integrations.
While Duda costs more than WordPress, we have found this is covered by requiring significantly less maintenance and security. Some 3rd Party App updates across multiple websites could be handled more elegantly.
No problems currently, I guess they could improve hosting speeds.
Duda support has been amazing. Building websites will always have a few issues come up and Duda support is always helpful in solving those problems.
Duda can be hard to learn at first. I had a Wordpress background and it was a leap to develop new habits when using Duda.
Duda takes a decent amount of coding out of website building. I love coding but it can be time-consuming. Duda helps speed the build process up.
No code!! Its easy to setup, use and modify websites; convenient to use blog feature SEO configuration And it is rock solid secure against malware attacks
Lacks complex forms, and other process-driven functionality, or has to be purchased separately or inserted.
Quick and very good looking websites building for an agency like mine
I mostly enjoy how easy it is to optimize the site for SEO, and I also really like the sections that are built to make page designs more interactive and engaging.
I think the site itself glitches a lot, which is a bummer. Typically I can "preview" and then return to the editor to fix it, but sometimes I have to exit altogether and reload the platform.
Duda is offering us a modern and engaging website that is going to totally change how our clients interact with us online. I believe we'll improve our trustworthiness for clients, improve our donation rates and amounts and increase our leads.
Duda os constantly being updated with the best practices in web development. I love Duda for the functionalities and constant improvement that are focused on making web development increase client results and help agencies scale.
There is nothing that I honestly dislike. Maybe the templates could be a little better, and options for wiring web developers could be more useful as an internal functionality.
Duda os helping me to crate fast and good performing websites. I'm also learning seo on page with all the easy o use and friendly seo inputs through he web pages.
It's exceptionally easy to use and edit your site. The builder is a great tool and has only gotten better over time. The ability to manage all aspects on my site in one view without flicking back and forth between front and back end. The mobile responsive elements. Easy to implement and check to confirm it's working as intended.
There have been some minor hiccups recently with one of my sites. Third party apps not working as they should with no rhyme or reason why. To give Duda credit, they have jumped on the issue and tried to resolve it the best they could. They even issued a refund.
It allowed me to build and populate two full SaaS sites in a really short window of time. What would have taken months took about 3 weeks each and was really easy to launch when the time came. Any queries I had were handled really quickly by livechat
The Duda management interface is straightforward to use, and the onboarding of clients in a multitenant environment is second to none. We love the widget builder to make reusable components.
Compared to other WYSIWYG site builders, Duda has a higher learning curve, but once you learn all it is capable of, you find it is an excellent mix of easy, no-code and deep coding for developers.
Duda helps us get basic websites up extremely fast
They have many done-for-you templates to create a high-converting landing page or website. Editing is easy, and the platform allows you to drag and drop sections to move them on your page. The pages load quickly and look great on mobile devices.
It is difficult to find much to dislike about the Duda platform. Perhaps it lacks marketing bells and whistles like widgets to display your Google and Facebook reviews. They would be a great addition.
Quickly creating high-converting landing pages for clients for their Facebook, Instagram and Google advertising. If you are working with clients in a specific niche, you can duplicate landing pages you have previously edited and just change the images and branding.
Overall, Duda provides a very flexible platform for creating and host websites. I have used other platforms and Duda certainly holds its own against other similar systems such as Wix; what set Duda apart, however, was the ability (at the Agency plan and above) to export your website. As a marketing consultant, I strive to give my clients flexibility and options and the option to allow my SMB businesses the ability to - eventually - host their site internally was really an attractive selling point. Beyond that, we did a pretty thorough comparison of several vendors and, while not perfect, Duda offered the most attractive capabilities for the price. Finally, I've found their support to be, overall, very good. While there's been a few exceptions, my overall experience is that their support team is knowledgeable, polite and has helped me work through almost every issue. We mostly use chat for important issues and email for non-critical as it can take a couple of days to hear back from emails. Phone response times vary but chat's been a great option for us.
I'll preface this by saying that none of these are show-stopper issues for us. Still, I always appreciate getting a fuller picture from other, real-life users so I wanted to offer the same. Here are my three grumbles about Duda: 1) While Duda seems to be a solid and well-established platform, the number of integrations and templates it offers is less than you'll find elsewhere (especially Wordpress which leaves everyone else far behind with the number of plugins offered). Stll, Duda's offerings are somewhat limited. 2) Their new Flex editor is also coming along nicely but is slightly behind similar editors offered by sites like Wix (though they appear to be catching up quickly). 3) Finally, I've been somewhat frustrated by their mobile optimization processes. For example, we launched a site for a client that had a large video on the home page. You aren't able to get a sense of the page size or load times until AFTER you publish and, sure enough, we got dinged for load times. So we reworked the video to its lowest acceptable resolution, re-uploaded it and found that it had been processed by Duda to almost the same size as the replaced video.
Duda's given us a solid platform to host simple-to-medium complexity websites. This is definitely a platform that does best when you are willing to be "on rails" to some degree (e.g., navigation no more than 3 levels deep) though there are ways to work around the handful of limitations we've run into. What's impressed me is that, once we had the basics down of their editor, we got pretty efficient at creating websites quickly. We had a client that was hosting a class and needed a site up in 2 days. We were given a fair amount of design flexibility so we pulled down one of Duda's templates, customized the colors and components, and had the site stood up in a couple of hours (and that includes our writing time). Bottom line, we're quite satisfied with the platform and - more importantly - our website clients are as well. So long as you don't try to create highly complex sites, Duda will likely serve you very well.
Pela facilidade de criação de websites, além do layout que conseguimos deixar excelente devido as várias opções de personalização.
Alguns bugs que ocorrem em qualquer tipo de ferramenta
Agilidade na criação de novos websites e facilidade de edição e personalização
How easy it is to learn the platform and how it has helpful resources to help along the way that you can access very easily. The customer support is very accessible and efficient and provides great service.
the website builder can be slow at times and changes to a page sometimes need a few extra tweaks here and there.
Duda university is a great tool that helped me understand Duda very quickly. Allows to build websites for clients on a simple way
I love the support, templating and ease of use for my clients. We have long built and supported WordPress and other site builders, but DUDA sites are easier for my clients to manage. The flexibility to set up and deploy sites makes Duda a preferred choice for simple website setups
Like all software, you have to think about things a little differently. It is not the same old, same old. Also the limitations on outside "plugin" means that more complex sites need more complex management.
Easy for my clients to manage and update. Fewer tech headaches for my team. Easy comment function for web improvements and client input during the setup stage.
That we can create, collaborate and publish / push live sites for clients with ease. I like the simplicity of the platform and the ability to add plugins, customize most of anything and make beautiful responsive sites.
There seem to be some missing features and plugin-type features...the likes of which are easily integrated into Wordpress sites. But the simplicity of the Duda platform outweighs that. Figuring things out sometimes takes longer than I wish it would...
The biggest problem is getting working, workable websites into our clients hands in days, not weeks. Duda had really improved its functionality and ability too and we just love working with it.
I think the fact I enjoy logging in and working on my client's sites says it all! I've used many of the web platforms available, including a very well known one, and in my opinion, Duda is way ahead of the competition on many levels. I'm also impressed with how the platform continually expands and adds new and powerful features. The level of support to date has been outstanding; I've been a happy customer since 2019.
Not much, to be honest. There's the odd glitch occasionally, and the new Flex feature sometimes plays up a bit; however, to be fair, it is currently still in beta!
It's my go-to platform for building client sites. The features Duda offers fit my client's needs very well; I always find a solution no matter what kind of site I'm creating.
We're migrating thousands of sites to Duda and it's evitable (no two sites are alike) that we'll need support from Duda personnel. yes price and other factors maybe more of a deal breaker for other companies, but for me - it's really - how responsive is customer support? Duda checked the boxes for me, they listened to the issue(symptoms), responded with good troubleshooting to narrow down the possibilities and went beyond my expectations with offering and trying other methods to find a solution. And they did all of this quickly - it shows they have seasoned professionals - a huge plus IMHO.
Perhaps if they had a tool like those on websniffer.com which I used to find other hosted sites of duda that used the same IP address - and I then tested the other sites for responsiveness (dns query etc) and thus eliminate a devs thought that its the dns that is the issue (it wasn't) websniffer also has an interesting feature of showing the actual web response 200 etc (redirect). perhaps if the web dev tools from https://web.dev/ were included (or a link?) for devs and what to do if the page refuses to display using https://pagespeed.web.dev/ but does display using a similar site such as https://www.webpagetest.org/ (it's really a dev issue, a site issue) - nothing to do with Duda
A cheaper hosting solution
Duda requires no coding due to availability of HTML editor.
Domain search and registration is extremely expensive, but I point from Godaddy.
Hosting unlimited websites on shared plan.
