Duda has many things that really impressed us: - excellent layout control (much better than other well-known frameworks I tried) - great help in building a website that looks great on a PC, tablet or mobile - good control of SEO elements - allows for very fast website development - we liked the widget builder - good ability to work directly on HTML and CSS if you really have to (we try to avoid it but we had to do it a few times and it came handy) - we really like the white-labelled customer portal, offers good customer access control and easy access - fantastic support, as good as it gets - like any other app, Duda has bugs and issues, no surprise there. However, you can email, phone or chat with competent support staff that has a positive can-do attitude. This was the most positive thing for me of all. - good communication experience from all their different teams
There are a few things we would like them to improve: - shop loading performance needs to be faster (as of May 2020) - a few more templates would be great, facilitates and accelerates things with customers - accelerate the number of new Apps in the new App Store. A good start though
We are developing websites for small companies (artists, local SME's) and costs are a real issue for them. They just can't afford expensive stuff but they can't do it themselves either. so they are between a rock and a hard place. This is where we come into play. Duda hosting fees are reasonable and it offers very quick development timescales. That combination allows us to serve a niche market that would otherwise be inaccessible to us. Further, we really enjoy designing and building websites in Duda. You have lots of granular control over the layout, so we still manage to build something beautiful despite the fact that we can't spend too much time on it. This helps with job satisfaction and happy clients.
How Duda cuts website production to a fraction of the time (compared to WordPress). I also love the results. Great looking sites with unbelievable performance. How quick and easy is to produce great looking sites with minimal effort. We also really like the collections. They are a fantastic tool that allow us to update information across the board with little to no effort. White labeling is an absolute must for an agency, and built-in annotation and team collaboration tools really take it to the next level. It's really amazing how you can even share access with clients on their websites while still protecting sensible areas that could be easily damaged by mistake. "Lock for client editing" rocks! The feature list keeps going and going. Duda is a mature platform that produce consistent results.
Dislike is a strong word, but the visual editor has a few limitations (most of them easily surpassed with the built-in access to html code). We have been developing on top of WordPress for a long time, so we're used to have a lot of flexibility. Switching to Duda means a trade off. We are trading this flexibility for production time, performance and design consistency. We also miss the ability to quickly do some PHP or other server-side coding sometimes, but we are realizing we actually need this a lot less than we thought we did. And with a little creativity we can overcome this limitation.
We are focused on small business which means we have to have competitive prices. With Duda we are cutting website creation times to a fraction of what it used to be, which means we can keep lower prices and still profit. That alone would be enough for us to migrate. On top of, after evaluating Duda for about 2 weeks and then signing up for it, we noticed Duda's learning curve is nearly flat. We are quickly gaining new skills and producing websites is getting faster and faster. Last but not least, it's really good to know we have such stellar support when we need it. Definitely a plus.
The Duda chat support team is a great feature! very helpful team.
Payout methods for check out is difficult to integrate in the e-commerce store
My client needs an online store and the Duda platform makes it really easy to design, great flexibility and easy to use! However, integrating a credit card payout method for the online store has been very difficult since there are no local options for Costa Rica. The support team is very helpful in trying to find a solution with me.
simple and fast. Its great to deploy sites quickly that also look great
took ages to get instagram and still no Afterpay or Zip pay in the store.
simple and affordable, websites are an absolute breeze.
The platform. The ease of use for my team and clients.
Need more integrations. Hotels, Real Estate
Combining teams and clients.
Duda is by far the fastest tool that I have used for building websites. You still have a learning curve but the speed of production turnaround once you're familiar with the system is incredible. The ability to add pre-designed sections and set up web forms in seconds is a huge time saver.
Duda lacks some of the creative control that you have on other platforms. Most times you can compromise but there are situations when you can't quite achieve the exact look you require dues to restrictions.
Previously I would build responsive sites i.e. one design that conformed to different screen devices, but Duda takes this up a notch and allows you to build independent designs for desktop, tablet and mobile as required.
Duda has continued to listen to the professionals that use the platform and has continued to provide tools AND resources to help us run our businesses, agencies and consulting firms. They have empowered us to provide an online presence at a reasonable cost to our clients - all the while providing up to date technology and bleeding edge tech in most instances.
It's a double edged sword... because of the access to the latest technology, widgets and assets - customers become accustomed to the accessibility. So when compared to wordpress and other CMS platforms, sometimes there is frustration. It's a component of their success and ease of use. We want this level of ease, but then want the higher level of configuration which is counter intuitive.
I'm able to provide an online presence that is cross device friendly and allows significant customability. Each site can be unique or templated as needed. Duda is also continuing to provide tools, resources and underlying code that keeps the platform AHEAD of the game.
The absolute best drop and drag editor on the planet. If you want build slick website without having to code, Duda is your pick.
They will not let me be a case study on their website.
Designing incredible sites in half the time and half the cost.
Duda has changed our business. It's fast, effective and reliable. We have gone from spending weeks developing solutions for clients to days, even hours coming up with a great solution.
If your used to being able to use separate Credit card accounts for each client, that is not available on Duda.
Our clients are really happy with the turnaround times and the quality of the sites. The usability of the site once handed over to the client with only a small training period is great too.
Answers Knowledge Interest Platform Ease of use UX
in this moment, I don't have any inconvent
Our customers want an easy-to-use platform and that the price suits their needs. As for the benefits, we can say that the help center with a white label is a great support for everyone.
Duda platform build on top of modern technology, they spend a lot of effort to bring the best user experiences, fast speed, great performance to their user.
Duda may think about sharing some open source projects, sharing some great story, tech stack that bring them success to the society.
Automated building website, rich of API for managing websites.
I like Duda's Website Design Editor Tools the best. There are enough choices, in many different areas within the process of designing a website, that you will find just about all that you need to give your website designs the features and functions that you want. And with a little ingenuity and creativity, you can figure out your own solutions to use what they have provided to creatively manipulate what's there in order to achieve the desired effect and results that your project may require.
My only issue that I would like Duda to develop further would be an overall "map diagram" which shows where all of the many different options and great features that they have included with their Editor, are located. There are many menus, sub-menus, etc. that a complete diagram showing the connecting "routes" or paths that the user has to navigate to find some of the more illusive settings and more refined details, can be found to avoid the time it takes to search for a very specific item that your website needs.
Converting clients existing websites for responsive devices like mobile iPhones, iPads, Androids, and many more. I started using Duda's propriety program nearly 3 years ago, back when converting website for responsive applications was still pretty new to the average website designer. Duda's tools at that time were still in their early phase of development but even so they were intuitively designed so that even a designer with a basic understanding of the process, could use them with very little difficulty.
I can notice good experience with adding images to content. I saved a lot of time by importing all of my existing images and social information. This very nice solution will help you every day.
I like a lot of parts of this service. Better to say I like it all. Work with Duda is means to have everything working well. I'm glad that I have it. With resource service you can solve problems if they are coming up.
I have a lot options that help me to build lovely and unique sites. And now our customers can easily and fast use sites I created in Duda. With good access to my site through any device, I can see how my site looks and control it.
Duda is super quick, thorough, and featured full.
Tend to view this as a patch, prefer a cleaner long-term solution.
We needed to provide a mobile user experience in a flash, Duda was just the trick. We were able to within hours convert all of our existing desktop only website into a mobile-friendly user experience. We avoided potential search engine penalties for not having a responsive or mobile friendly website. Moreover, we gave our desktop only site visitors (45%+) who were visiting on their mobile devices a much easier to use website.
I am not a website designer, and I love that Duda make it's easy to customize websites and pages. You have the option of starting with a template or from scratch, and all of the templates are easy to customize. There are many different options with customization such as the ability to restructure basic needs like font and color, and then it's easy to customize each element as well. GREAT for BEGINNERS! Wonderful for INTERMEDIATE users (like myself), that knows some coding. GOOD for experts, but may not like that you cannot manipulate ALL coding. API access is available though!
I dislike most is the support system within the program. Everything is very easily explained with step-by-step guides, however if you need something specific done, it may be hard to find instructions. On the other hand, support is very responsive when you do message them with a question or need help. After they have corresponded with you, they will follow up a few days later to make sure that the support was given and that your problem has been solved before closing out the support ticket. Does have easy to read step-by-step guides. Does not have guides for advanced customization options such as manipulating coding.
I use Duda to power my business website as well as websites for clients. Duda is always improving with integrations and options for many different aspects of a website. Things that I love: incorporated blog, no limit on pages or elements, easy to use, able to manipulate coding Things that I dislike: cannot manipulate all coding (which is understandable), somewhat slow load time on backend, unavailable elements and features. Has given me the ability to create websites for clients to sell!
I really like how you can either use one of their templates, or have them create a mobile site using you desktop site. It is highly customizeable too! I like that when I update content on the desktop site, it automatically updates it on the mobile as well. You can also view your mobile webpage analytics so you know which pages are being seen and by how many people. There are a lot of tools to integrate various things such as social media, videos, web forms and more. You can have a mobile website put together in under an hour!
The customization tools aren't that great. Sometimes I has issues getting things to align correctly. Sometimes it transfers content from your desktop site and it just looks off. I feel like they should probably focus more on updating their customization tool because some times it can be a hassle to use.
We did not have a mobile friendly site, which was really hurting our Google presence, especially since Google put so much weight on mobile functionalities is their latest algorithm update. This was a great tool to fill in that gap and helped tremendously until we were able to get a new, responsive website created.
Duda is a website builder that is user friendly for all skill levels. There is also a great customer support service.
The downsides are if you would like something done outside of the capabilities of the program you'd need to use custom code.
Building websites efficiently for my agency.
It's all intuitive. And if something doesn't work, you will get email support within 24 hours. I also like the built-in tools and aws as reliable webhoster.
Preview is not always the same as the live version..
With Duda you can make quality websites in a relatively short time.
excellent platform for those who do not have technical and design skills
price could be better with more functionalaties in each profile
Build a professional website without the need to hire a professional in the field or agency
