As one of the pioneering Kanban web-based project management platforms, more than 2 million teams are now using Trello worldwide since its launch in 2011. Trello is best known for its simple visual interface, with cards that can be moved across different columns. Each card holds all the information teams and assignees need to deliver on projects and execute tasks efficiently. Over the years, Trello has introduced robust improvements to its systems, which include a proprietary built-in and no-code automation feature called Butler. There are also add-ons called Power-Ups that allow teams to link your most-used productivity and business tools with Trello plugins.

There is a most best thing in trello, its is the best tool for bug reporting, we also create a table for we montoring the bug reporting. Developer or QA understand the process easily.
There is nothing to dislike in Trello but one thing is that we didn't create sprint in Trello. Also, in Trello, the comment section on the bug report does not look user attractive.
I'm an SQA Engineer. Trello is the best tool for bug reporting. I easily assign the bug to the developer with the help of Trello and the bug status shown in the dashboard.
I am doing freelancing and I cannot completely offer a pricy Software Development management tool. Trello being such a handy and useful tool provides all the tools for tracking the software development process and is free to some extent. It's UI is very easy and drag and drop is the feature I like the most.
It is such a great tool but still, we cannot create charts and Graphs to see and track the progress of the work.
I have been assigned a lot of tasks during Freelancing and keeping track of the work was really hard and Trello allows me to create a workspace and add all the tasks.
My favorite feature for personal to-do lists is the auto-archive "checkmark" automation. It's satisfying to click CHECK and have it wiped from your board (but retrievable if needed!) For group collaboration and project management, I like that you can create to do lists within an action items and assign that whole card to another person on your board. It is so helpful and cuts out the back and forth of "have they done this yet?" that pops up in all of our minds!
I don't like that things get archived versus deleted.
We are solving the influx of emails that get overlooked. As long as people remember to sign into Trello and update their progress, it has been a great asset for project management! Another benefit is to be able to share ideas in one place for things that we don't yet have time for, but that if we happen upon a free afternoon we can dig into task lists or ideas for less urgent projects or remember to bring them up in meetings.
I like trello because it help me to manage my tasks easily. Also trello is helpful to connect with team and assign work to them.
Everything in trello is good to use and I like it
Trello provides boards and cards for easily tracking of tasks. And in trello here is option to add add-ons that enhanced work flow.
The Lists and Cards: Very easy to create and manage
The paid plug-ins and integrations. Some of the basic integrations need a paid version.
Ever since I started using my work has become more organized and it is very easy to manage. Since it is very easy to manage compared to excel sheets, my productivity has increased. I can focus on other issues.
At Mindtree we had a lot of difficulties in project management, but we sat down and thought, unfortunately Trello came to our mind and we decided to give a shot, and hear we are happy saying to other organisations managing Projects shouldn't be a problem as long you are with Trello. Its very super-easy-to-use,likes to keep things simple, the visualy oriented Kanban approach is very easy for our employees to pick up. Actually some good news for those who don't know or have not come across any project management solution before to look at Trello Board and will understand whats going on.
Trello is more productive than other software and very affordable than any other project management tools in the market.
Trello is the most affordable, well-known purely project management tool, that us very easy-to-use with a sleek design. We use it every day to ensure our projects are going well from the beginning to the end. Its cost effective and very time saving also ensure there is project collaboration among teammates.
The best thing about Trello is the ease of getting up to speed with using it. I have used so many tools that require a learning curve and time that I do not want to spend learning new tools & platforms, but Trello is as easy as it comes. You learn as you use versus learning before using. Also, it is suitable for any project.
Nothing comes to mind. I would love to see better integration with Jira, but that is about it.
I am in Product Management, allowing me to create a roadmap and see the statuses of more significant initiatives. Also, Trell will enable me to share with external stakeholders in a way that is visually pleasing and effective.
We can easily switch the progress status by drag & drop & also we can have the detailed progress within the cards
Maybe we can have the progress shown for cards in %
We generally use it for brainstorming and then later we use it as a project/task management tool
Convenient organizing of tasks between multiple users
Took quite a while to organize cards to proper use
Communication between multiple people accross multiple locations nationwide
It is the best tool to manage all my tasks and projects, it is pretty simple to use, it has a fast learning curve, I love that I can manage multiple projects simultaneously, I really liked how easy to register and how easy to prepare the management of tasks, it has many easy-to-use collaborative tools, tracking projects is very easy, we keep track of progress with the boards, it is a very visual application, so it is straightforward to see what a member of the team is doing team, or when a task is completed, we use the free version and it has excellent and up-to-date features.
So far we have not presented problems, no comment.
I love the optimal monitoring that it offers through the boards, cards and lists, it has integration with Slack and Zendesk, I like that this software provides me a place to store all my information, I really can assign and list the tasks or activities, I love them I like power-ups like calendars for example because it is straightforward to customize, it has an intuitive design, it allows me to add due dates, attach files to tasks, I love the stickers and the color-coded labeling.
The platform is simple and easy to understand, use and navigate. It is excellent how I can dump all my ideas down in one place and then rearrange them in order of tasks, priority, and availability. I use Trello to organize my work schedule, content creation, and client onboarding. I love the customization options for each board.
I don't particularly appreciate how they have changed access into workspaces and limited how many boards they can have to each workspace. Have to check each board individually to see whether it is set to public or private which is time consuming.
It helps with brain dumping all my ideas down in one place which helps to prevent and get out of overthinking and overwhelm. It has helped improve my productivity and organization of daily, weekly, and monthly business tasks.
It makes it easy to plan your tasks; I use it to keep track of what I need to finish
Sometimes, I cannot login easily, I'm having some problems like broken link
Task management, personal and company goal planning
Everything in Trello I liked a lot. Recently Trello is update its UI and UX and this is very cool. Now it allows us to see all Workspace boards in one place. The best thing in Trello u liked is the labels. I can give the name of labels and also create color for it.
In my 3 years of experience with Trello, I did not see any problem to use it.
Trello helps me to create boards and share my activities with my team. Also, Trello helps me to add reminders for each task on the board. One best thing in trello is to export data in JSON for backup that is I suppose inevitable in every business.
We started using Trello during the pandemic to communicate virtually, and now we will never go back! It is a fantastic tool to keep track of tasks, projects and to communicate. You make lists to assign different projects or steps - we have the following lists: Things To Do, In Progress, Done, On Hold, and a Label Guide. The label guide helps to differentiate the categories between the cards. Within the list, there are cards for each project. It is super helpful so assigning projects!
Trello is not great for file transfers, as the limit of file sizes is small. However, I believe you can upgrade your account to receive the benefits of file upload size.
Trello has helped to streamline project assignment, questions & communication between team members, and so much more! Trello makes virtual work seamless. It has solved the problem of constantly checking up on team members and asking about the status of projects. Team leaders can go on to Trello and check the status of tasks and projects. It has helped to build trust and teamwork in a virtual work environment!
Trello is awesome for me.. I used Trello on daily basis and best part of trello is i can access it via my mobile phone. Yeah trello has mobile application and in light weight also if i talk about management yeah yeah trello is best because it help to create board and cards as per need and it also send email notification if somehow i miss something.
No, i didn't have to say anything bad for trello
Trello help to me manage my project, keeps tap on workflow. I can add people from different organization in it to contribute there effort. It also have various features like drag and drop of card etc.
Trello is super easy to use, so even if you have a not-so-tech-savvy person on your team, they can easily navigate it!
I can't think of anything that I didn't like.
We use it to keep track of our monthly/weekly/daily tasks for each team member. For projects, it helps keep everything organized and straightforward.
The ability to create different boards that allow me to track the status of each team's projects. It's organized and uber intuitive to use.
There are a few functions I wish Trello had. From what I have seen there is no way to approve the completion of someone's projects.
The only problem I've found is the fact that I can't approve completion, but I did find a work around where when something is marked completed it assigns the project to me to review. I used to manage tasks on a spreadsheet and it was getting messy and hard to track. With multiple boards I can focus on one department at a time, where as before I was stuck looking a long list of every department.
It is straightforward to configure and it is what I like the most, it helps a lot to monitor projects and to assign tasks to our teammates, it is perfect to be aware of activities, progress and the status of tasks, I liked that we can work remotely from anywhere, it has a fast learning curve and the interface is amicable, very comfortable and intuitive to use, I love that I was able to create a complete monitoring system, it has the option of drag and drops, I like that I can import photos, make checklists and it connects perfectly with Google Drive, it is also free.
Although the interface is very intuitive, I find that it looks a bit dated.
I like that I can identify tasks and projects quickly, the interface is straightforward and allows everything to flow very well, it is effortless to create workflows, it offers an optimal system of notifications and reminders, I really can also create checklists or notes of reference, it is a tool that can be easily used for company activities as well as for personal activities, it allows working with several people which makes it ideal for collaborative work in real-time, it helps me save a lot of time, the kanban boards are excellent.
Its intuitive boards, with all the right features you need ( such as due date set up, priority labeling, checklists etc )
When projects become complex it seems pretty challenging to have a unified view of all moving parts of a given projects simultaneously ( for example, all responsible people with their work bits & due dates in chronological order all in a snapshot )
Productivity and remote organizational issue are the top 2 issues Trello helps us solve
I like the ease of use providing templates to use if you can't create one easy to add plans and manage it
It needs more features to benefit from like easy to use calendar and a funnel for tasks to use in many different shapes
Managing my tasks Organizing priorities help my teammates Assign tasks to all team member yes it helps you be more productive yes my business performance increases
