It is really quick and easy to see what tasks you have for the day and easy to respond and see everything all from one page.
We have had some issues with the system not working and files not going through with no way of knowing.
It is creating better communication and easier to involve more people. Getting instant updates is really helpful.
With a platform like Monday.com that is easy to learn and easy to navigate, Monday.com has been a game changer for my team and me. I work in legal, so there are a lot of cases that we deal with, and Monday.com allows us to access them quickly and conveniently and provides some really cool ways to stay on top of each stage of the litigation.
There is not much that I dislike about Monday.com. I do wish that there was a way to scan documents directly into the platform from my scanner. I reached out to Monday.com with this suggestion but I never heard back.
Team members who do not directly work on cases can utilize my boards and workspaces to have access to an easy to understand overview of each case thanks to Monday.com. It's more than just a depository for files- it allows us to visualize and entire case.
Monday is the best project/task management software for working from home. It's easy enough to use, aesthetically pleasing, and perfectly simple overall.
There's nothing I would classify as a dislike. There are minor bugs now and then, like showing 2 or 3 item cards when there only needs to be 1. Other than that small thing, Monday.com is great!
As a developer, monday.com is great. It allows project managers to clearly and concisely convey the exact information to get the job done. It has allowed me to be much more productive.
What I like the most is that we can adapt the Monday tables to any type of use, business, situation. It's such a versatile platform. Automations adapt to all conditions. The UX is so easy to understand; it's visually very pleasing. Tagging your co-workers is really useful; everybody can follow the work progress. I also love that we can download all types of content in the tables (photos, viédos, texts, direct uploads from Google Drive...).
I pretty much love everything about Monday, but the only thing I would change is when you want to change the style of a column, it duplicates this first one. I'd like for it to change directly and not duplicate.
What I've achieved with Monday is a seamless workflow with my co-workers. Thanks to Monday, everyone has a clear overview of what is going on, projects' progress, who's doing what.
Monday.com has helped our team to get organized easily, lead cross-functional projects. This amazing tool is also very powerful for any manager to have a full overview of all the project status led by each member very quickly. As a big corporation, we have been able to centralize the communication of our team and also with agencies in Monday.com replacing multiple emails and inefficient processes.
As a marketing team we would love to improve the conditional dynamic of the forms as 70% of our job is about processing briefs/forms. The meeting minute thought DOC could be also improved to be able to open multiple sheet in one doc like in one note.
Project management Communication Roadmap and timings Avoid duplicating information meeting minutes
Monday is a great project management tool in general. And I'm sure there are plenty out there, but this one gives you so much flexibility to create as many different dashboards and schedules as you need. And within each one, you can customize to your liking with many different colors and markers. I use Monday for scheduling out social media projects such as videos. And I love that I can create custom buttons next to each item and assign a "status" (I can make my own statuses). For example, an item that is in the brainstorming stage could be designated as such, whereas another item for which we have completed filming could be designated as "Needs Video Edit". This makes it super easy to prioritize projects and see where they are at a glance. Additionally, there is space to link out to associated documents, so an item on the schedule could link out to the script for that video that needs to be filmed, for example. Also, you are able to add teammates to your account so you can all work off the same dashboard and content schedules.
At first, I was a little lost using Monday because I hadn't used such a versatile tool before (I was used to just keeping track of stuff in my notebook, to be honest). I was losing track of all the comments by my teammates, and didn't know there were conversations going on on different items in the schedule. However, I soon learned that on the sidebar menu, you can look at notifications and see all the mentions and unread messages, so you don't lose track.
We are now able to delegate work better without having to ping our teammates to find out what needs to be done next. By creating a content schedule on Monday, and adding our teammates to the account, we can all go in and see what needs to be done and "claim" different tasks to be more effective together.
Full customisation of workflows which enables us to create processes which align directly with our use case.
It would be great to see some templates which are targeted at specific use cases / areas of business.
It has enabled us to create simplified checklist processes to enable junior staff to nail their activation.
The ability to coordinate and collaborate with team members that are not always in the same place makes completing projects a breeze. Also the intagations with differnt platforms such as google and slack are great.
I don't know if there is anything negative I have to say about Monday.com. I know it has so many capabilities that I have yet to discover, so I am sure if I disliked something, it's probably because I haven't figured it out yet.
We have been able to keep everyone up to date on projects, and we are all able to see what the other is working on or the status of a project to ensure work and efforts are not being duplicated.
I really enjoy this tool to keep my projects organized. I like how easy it is to move things into different columns and all the options it gives. A lot easier than other column and line sheets.
My least favorite thing about Monday.com is the progress bar. I do not know how to get it to be 100% even when all the columns are all filled out. I do not like how there is now way to add comments without blasting and email to all of those involved
It helps me keep track of the payment progress we're making. It also helps me look up project numbers and sales numbers without having to go through a lot of paperwork.
I do like the color options available, the different kind of inputs we can add on columns and how easy it is to use.
I think that the only think I dislikes about monday.com it was that I get too many e-mails of the updates in the dashboard, it annoyed me a little bit.
My main problem is being organized and deal with deadlines, in this aspect monday helped me a lot.
flexibility, ability to pull in both my team as well as clients, and how it's replaced sharing spreadsheets on dropbox and google docs. intuitive and quick for creating new ideas.
it does tend to lag when you have a lot of items. the best way around this is setting views with default filters; lack of "undo" feature on a "cell" level; could use more robust automation options, some of which have been removed, some of which are available in buggy third-party add-ons.
everything. tracking workflows, deadlines, approvals, file updates; keeping track of birthdays, chasing payments, assigning work; to-do lists, process checklists. when we bring on a new employee or client, first thing everyone gets is an invite to monday and to be assigned to role-specific boards. without monday, i honestly have no idea how i'd run this business. emails and google sheets were fine when there were just a few of us, but at scale, it'd be impossible without monday.
That I can see a wide overview of all tasks, that are currently going on in a labratory, and manage them to optimize efficiency and ensure timely completion of tasks. Viewing results is also easy in the same platform which is nice.
When creating time-based displays, the scroll button is rather annoying as it can quickly put you decades into the future.
Visibility to all testing that is ongoing in the lab. What the status is, and what our results are. Easier to manage all testing now than in the past due to visibility.
The organization factor is amazing. 10/10 would recommend
There is really nothing to dislike about this platform.
Our manufacturing team can, in real-time, communicate what we have coming off our line daily.
I love its seamless integration with most of the work tools such as outlook, team I used and its easy creation.
Just needs to scale up the service for lower subscription packages.
Small task automation, team communication and collaboration, project management.
It's extremely easy to use for all learning types. Whether you're hands-on or visual, Monday.com has so many different ways to view tasks that need to be done while also staying in contact with every department. You can also connect work apps to keep everything in arms reach!
It is extremely overwhelming sometimes since there's just so much you can do on this site. I recommend looking up videos posted by the Monday.com team for help.
The organization is a big struggle since we have people in more than one department. It's hard to keep everything in line. By just adding your own tasks, monday.com can auto-generate a Gantt chart which is amazing.
Visibility is key and the reason we are able to scale.
There's a lot to learn, it's imperative to set time aside for monday.com enhancements.
With Monday.com our team is able to handle tasks remotely and stay laser-focused on the task that actually move the needle.
Its easy to use without being complicated. I love that you can share things with different groups and stop people from editing a board but they can still see what I'm doing. Its been great for working at home with covid makes collaboration easier.
I don't know that there is anything I dislike. I did find I was getting too many emails but after changing some settings this is now fine
In my role, I need to be organised with a number of different tasks and this gives me a place where I can have many different boards for my varied tasks and see where I am up to with them at any time. I have also found it great to use a page as a bookmark for all my important links to things on our SharePoint ages and general internet pages.
The UI is very easy to navigate, and the ability to break projects out into different boards makes organizing them easy.
Since the interface was updated, it is more difficult to find subitems in a project than it was in the past. The old interface was better in this way.
We use monday.com for project management, and it completely resolved problems around project management that we had in using email chains instead.
Easy Automation, delegation of work streams, centralized notes peer review and process transparancy.
None that I have observed so far. Tool has been a great help in channelizing processes.
Lot of project work was distributed. Help provide a single pane of visibility to the entire team delegation of tasks and task visibility with the ability of adding notes to individual work items with help of Integration with other internal tool sets has siplified what was otherwise chaotic process set, prone to errors.
