we use gusto manage payroll for full time employees, contractors, benefits, etc. It is really easy to use and they have lots of integrations that are quite helpful

Such a simple, well designed platform where it's easy to find and manage expenses, pay details and vacation days. The app is also well done, and makes it easy to adjust things on the go.

Honestly, nothing yet. I haven't ran into any issue, and the platform itself is superior to all of the other employee portals that I have used at prior companies.

Gusto makes it incredibly easy to manage my human resource details. I'm primarily creating expenses, entering time-off requests, and grabbing the occassional stub. Gusto's design and performance makes this a painless process.

I love the self-service features where I can access my paystubs and tax documents easily. It's great to also get notified of paydays!

Sometimes the response to issues takes longer than ideal.

Gusto is our workplace magician – it sends payroll notifications like clockwork, making sure our wallets stay happy. Plus, it's our trusty time off tracker, saving us from those "Did I forget to request time off?" moments and making we employees get our well-deserved breaks without disappearing into thin air! Tax documentation and benefits are also easily accessible, making tax season a breeze!

It is extremely user friendly, and so helpful when it comes to setting up payroll for new employees. It's so easy to set up taxes for my team, submit payroll, and keep my accountant and bookkeeper connected for tax time! I've used their customer support a few times and have always found them to be attentive and help resolve my issues quickly! I use it biweekly and found it very easy to integrate into my team.

I haven't found many dislikes - for the most part, I am really happy with this service!

Payroll, setting up and paying taxes neccesary

Gusto is the best time-tracking application that I have ever used. I really like how it keeps track of all of my hours- not just daily, but through the payperiod and year. It is very easy to us and easy to change things like banking info and address changes. I love the little pig "mascot" as well and how he changes outfits based off the season. Gusto is so easy to use, even for those who have a hard time with technology. I have use this application everyday. I would deffinitey recommend it to all business owners.

There is not much I don't like about Gusto, but I think the phone app is not as good as the website. On the phone app I am unable to see the exact time that I clock-out for lunch (for example), so it's hard to know when it's time to clock back in.

Gusto takes care of time tracking and payroll. It also keeps track of employee birthdays and anniversary dates.

I love the app! I use it every week and it's so user friendly, I love being able to access my info (including paystub) right from my phone I also love how easy it is to break down my pay as needed. I opted to open an account through Gusto and it was so simple to set up a weekly allotment to be deposited to that account. I've used my debit card and so far so good! The banking experience has been amazing. I've used a couple of different pay softwares and Gusto has been by far my favorite one for sure.

Honestly, I can 't think of anything off the top of my head that I can say that I dislike about Gusto.

Gusto is solving the issue of keeping track of my pay and any info related to it. In the past, it was difficult to track down my paystubs or tax information. It also solves the problem of wanting to easily split my pay if necessary.

We've found our payroll peace of mind with Gusto. I set it up once, and it just took off from there—handling every little detail seamlessly. It’s like having an extra member on our team who’s solely dedicated to managing pay and taxes, both for our contractors and W2 employees. The ease extends to 1099 reporting as well; gone are the days of form-hunting. Gusto has it all laid out simply. Running payroll used to be a monthly ordeal, now it’s a task I don’t even have to think about. It’s clear, it’s straightforward, and it’s reliable. And it integrates easily with Quickbooks to make the whole process seamless. We now have more time to focus on what we do best, while Gusto takes care of what it does best—making payroll the easiest part of our operations. It’s a game changer for us, and I believe it will be for you too.

It's worth mentioning that while Gusto stands strong in payroll management, some features like HR support and multi-state capabilities are tucked away behind an upgrade. Although understandable, the initial allure of simplicity does encounter a layer of complexity if your needs stretch beyond the basic offering.

It handles all the myriad tax and withholding issues with no fuss and no additional babysitting.

East to use, has allowed me to add benefits and keep track of all HR-related things in one place. I love that the pricing is based on the team members you have, so you only pay for the services your business needs. As an employee myself of the company, I am able to access all my employment documents in one portal, without the need to go to the employer every time I need my W2s. It was super easy to setup and implement once we decided to use Gusto, and their customer support team is always willing to help you. I also love that my business manager is able to track PTO, Sick Time, and all those other benefits that our team members are able to use. I love how the company keeps integrating other programs and makes it super easy to make letters offering employment and onboarding new team members.

No major downsides, but do wish we had more economical options for health insurance for our team members.

I think that Gusto has an incredibly friendly user interface and experience. Above all, I like having one central location where I can request time off, view/download paystubs, ask for reimbursements, and complete performance evaluations. I use Gusto a lot and am always discovering new useful features. It's also nice having email alerts about pay days and approved PTO sent to me.

I haven't experienced any downsides or challenges that I can recall

Gusto is a one-stop shop for our agency. We don't have to log in to a bunch of different spots or bog someone down with emails related to PTO, payroll, performance evals, etc. The tutorials and insights were super helpful for onboarding so I feel like all of the employees have a solid grasp. What's great too is that employees can really customize their experience and set up their own dashboards.

I love the simplicity and reliability of Gusto. As someone who is hourly & clocks in and out, I love the ease in doing this.

Easily solves hourly employees time tracking. Also serves as a singular location for tax forms, income information, and other employee info.

Gusto is very responsive to any issues I have whether it's processing payroll or benefits issues. The system is easy to navigate and I really like the reminders they provide and the ways they help keep things compliant.

We had some benefits issues last year, which caused some challenges for staff, but Gusto was able to get to the bottom of the matter. It would be nice if Gusto saved the Payroll Journal Report that I run prior to pushing run payroll so I can access later. Right now, you have to go and recreate it, which is an extra step.

Being a small business means operating with less resources, and Gusto streamlines everything for us and allows us to be more effiecient - resulting in saving us time.

The platform is very easy to use, the customer service gets back to me very quickly, and I love it, that they take care of all the government filings.

I honestly cannot think of anything I dislike about it. It is affordable and meets all of our needs.

I do not understand how to submit the government filings for payroll and Gusto takes care of all of that for us. It is also helpful when we get a notice from the government, all we have to do is upload it, and one of the gusto representatives takes care of making the changes on our account. I also like the reminder so that I do not do our payroll late.

Gusto is simple to set up, holds your hand at each step, and does the hard work for you. I found every feature I needed without difficulty.

The only minus is that you are only interacting at arms length with a human. But humans are always available.

As a non-professional in the payroll field I value the savings of time and money Gusto affords. I can run payroll without anxiety.

It sends me updates to remind of anything that needs to be done.

It is just great for us in running Payroll.

Everything to onboard and manage employees' payroll and benefits in one place. Employees like it and it makes managing payroll and benefits a lot easier. I also like the Gusto Wallet feature which gives us a bank account or as many as we need to save for life goals and spending.

There is not much I don't like about Gusto. I think there are some things you can only change on the web app and not on the mobile app. That would be my only big complaint.

Gusto pretty much solves all the HR management problems we would have puts it all in once place and gives us the tool to offer our employees benefits.

I love Gustos fun illistrations at the top of the page notifying me that i'm getting paid today.The platform makes it easy to understand what my gross pay is and what my pay is after all of the deductions.

My paycheck used to come to me as an actual check written by my boss. I now get to have an online platform to see my paycheck breakdowns.

We love how user-friendly the platform is an all the payroll capabilities it offers. The reports make our business auditing processes simple. We are a small business and the pricing is reasonable and justifiable.

To date, we haven't experienced anything we "dislike" about Gusto. Our HR director has a lot of experience using multiple platfroms and she, too has been pleasantly surprised by Gusto's capabilities.

Everything is easy for the employees. Onboarding, benefits enrollment, resigning documents, accessing pay stubs, general summaries of coverage and costs with benefits - all amazing. It's the best product I've used for HR related matters. Beats the pants off workday!

It wasn't remembering my preferences to "remember me" using 2FA. It may have something to do with multiple chrome profiles.

It's giving me access to everything I need from an HR perspective. It makes updating benefits a breeze and minimizes the the information I need to submit for such tasks.

I can do a lot of high level tasks all from one place. It saves tons of time to being connected to e-signatures and automatically pull you data from web based sources.

Honestly, not much - it is a pretty awesome tool. As an employee and employer it's easy to use.

Payroll, payroll taxes 👏, Expenses, Onboarding Employees, looking at paystubs , accessing W2's--> all of these are time consumed and used to take multiple people to complete. Now 1 person can access all of this within minutes.

The platform handles everything for us, it's so easy to use, the team is friendly and thorough. No complaints!

The part-time employees I pay recieve mixed W-2s at the end of the year where not enough is withheld. I can't figure out if its because of their W-4 or because Gusto isn't collecting enough. I wish there was someone I could consult.

Providing a regular payroll provider for a small business that would be under a lot of stress if we had to manage our own payroll compliance.

I like that Gusto tracks how many PTO hours accrued. I like that they send emails out every week to let me know how much my check is before it hits my bank. I also like that you have the option to be paid early if needed!

All overtime hourly amounts, accrued PTO and regular hours worked are housed in Gusto for all employees, making it very easy to find records for any one of our employees.

I like that they are consistent and everything is online. They offer basic payroll provider services - exactly what a small business needs to operate. You can get more advanced HR services, but are not forced to pay for features you may not need as a small business.

Gusto helps me offer automated payroll services. As a small business, I set up employees, pay and benefits easily online. Payday comes and goes and everything is automated. Efficient.

I genuinely cannot think of any downsides to Gusto. I will always recommend this software to business owners, and as a consumer, I'm very grateful this is the payroll provider our business uses!

Gusto allows me to have a savings account with high interest, and it has been an absolute game changer. I am so grateful to be able to see my savings goals regularly, and am also thankful for easy access to previous paystubs - using this software is super simple. Gusto has allowed me to be more intentional with my earnings.
