Gusto has truly streamlined our payroll process, with its straightforward system making running payroll and making corrections a hassle-free experience. The comprehensive reporting tools are user-friendly and offer a variety of options to access the exact information we need. Moreover, on the rare occasions when we've reached out for support, the team at Gusto has been not only knowledgeable but also extremely helpful. Their expertise and prompt assistance is much appreciated, and it's reassuring to know that such reliable support is just a call away.
I'm missing the sweet spot in the pricing tiers. The Simple plan works almost perfectly for us. However, it only includes one PTO Policy. You can track sick but not vacation or you vacation but not sick. My employees get both and I would really like to be able to indepenantly track them both with their payroll. In order to track both through Gusto, I would need to move to the higher package which doubles the price. There are a lot of really nice features with the Plus Plan that would benefit most typical businesses. Unfortunately, my industry isn't typical so most of the added features either don't apply or are redundant when matched with our industry-specific scheduling software. I want one more feature but don't want to double my cost.
Gusto's payroll functions are easy to administer - easy to see, to understand, to enter. Our employees love the app. I have yet to find an employee who could not access the app and handle their own banking, W-2, etc. (I can't say that about the other guy.) In almost 10 years, I have never had an employee not get their paycheck directly deposited into their bank account.
Everything about the platform is great. We manage over 150 employees across multiple entities with ease.
Would love to see them add travel management and booking to go along with their expense management solution.

What I love about Gusto is its easy of use and the availablility of all of your important documents. As someone who has filed taxes late before SOLELY because I lost my tax forms and had to wait for my employer to mail them to me, having everything at my fingertips is such a gift. I also really like that you can easily see your pay breakdown and change your direct deposits. Having other jobs where you have to go to HR to make the smallest adjustment is such a headache and I love how Gusto does that. Lastly, I really appreciate that the website and app are not overwhelming visually. It's just wicked easy to find what you're looking for.
I don't really have any downsides as I've only found it to be useful for me as an employee. I obviously can't speak to what it's like from the employer side or pricing, but as an employee it is nothing but helpful.
Gusto keeps all of your important documents at your fingertips. It is solving that employees have to go to HR or a manager to get vital information or change banking info.
Super easy to use. Autopay option, so no need to worry about PR deadlines. Good customer service, chat, email, and call all three options and available.
It's pretty good PRS, but the only thing I would point is the callback option which is not working these days not sure why. I'm not getting any callbacks as I use to have it.
If you have gusto you don't need huge staff to manage your payroll. Gusto is amazing tool, easy and cost effective.
Makes running a new business easy for me.
The price for premium isn't quite worth it for me yet, but I need those benefits.

The online interface is very user friendly and Gusto makes it easy to manage your payroll independently. Whether it is straght payroll, bonuses, commissions, it is easy to navigate and there have been no errors or issues in the 7 months we've been using Gusto. Their communication is great too.

I use Gusto for both of my businesses. It was really easy to learn how to use. They provide great tech support whenever I run into problems or have questions.
Data entry for payroll takes a bit longer than when I used ADP.
