Remote does taxation calculation so beautifully which makes it so easy to understand. User interface is amazingly intuitive and all my document and information are easy to access.
The support is very fast and spot on. I had a couple of issues about the taxes and the expenses and the support I received from Remote has been always really good.
Pobably, the only part that I don't totally like is the difference between a standard HR organization and one remote, the fact that I cannot talk face to face with an HR.
Remote people look like they are very knowledgable about the local laws and tax procedures. Their competencies are probably better than what I saw in different organization during my career.

You need to manually log the local bank holidays, when it's something you legally have and Remote already knows (city you live in and country your contract is from).

The onboarding and setup process was really easy with Remote.com. Their employee portal is really easy to use and gives me access to everything I need. They even negotiated a food allowance for me.
The only thing I think they could improve a little bit is to have a slightly faster response on their email support. It's not bad at all, but could be improved.

I think having it connected with stripe sometimes can take a little longer, but that's not their fault, there's is a good amount of other withdrawal methods but definitely something to be aware
I think my payment method and invoices, I myself seem benefiting from that because I don't have to bother with local authorities to submit an invoice, it's just as simple as doing it and send it in Remote
The most helpful product of Remote.com is the Dashboard, it provides all of the details and it is user friendly. I also like the customer service because they make sure that they address your issues in a very timely manner
One of the downsides of Remote.com would be the payslip, there are times that I couldn't understand the contents of it and I would need to contact Customer Service for the details that are missing on it.
I think one of the business problems that Remote.com is resolving would be the onboarding of the international partners/international employees such as the ones in the Philippines.
The onboarding process was the most efficient I've ever experienced! Tech support is prompt and efficient too - all of my queries were resolved in a couple of hours.
I haven't come across anything bad, and new features to improve ease of use are added pretty often too!

Setting up payroll in countries like the Philippines is a huge challenge, but the Remote team are definitely great in solving payroll issues to ensure that they can provide a great experience for all our employees.

I used it only last 2 months, but it works pretty well. Technical support was very pleasant and helped me to solve all my questions. My employer chose this service and I did not experience any discomfort.
As I said, I did not experience any big issues with Remote. There was a problem with the KYC verification process: I passed it correctly, but didn't receive access - technical support manually confirmed my personality.
I use it for my freelance work. I found it very comfortable that you can choose different withdrawal methods - it's easy to manage your income. But I never used over payment services and can't compare them.
It is really easy to navigate around the platform and is very transparent. Submitting documents, uploading expenses or requesting time off are great tools to have within the platform. The team are super helpful with any queries or support.
It would be nice to have a point of contact to reach out to for queries rather than a generic help@remote email.

I had a smooth onboarding, with a clear sequence of steps. Document uploading and form filling were easy. The support team helped me efficiently, quickly addressing a ticket I opened. Self-service capabilities are available, e.g I was able to request a work certificate through the Remote interface. Payslips are well-formatted. They are more legible than others I got in the past. I am alerted by the issue of new ones by convenient email notifications. I’d recommend Remote to friends and colleagues. I’m already evangelizing the brand across my network of peers.
Until now I didn't experience any friction with Remote. I haven't tried yet the experiences of requesting time off and reporting expenses. I have no doubt they will meet my expectations.
When I got the offer from my current company, I asked if it was possible to leverage on an Employer of Record, to avoid the need to open the Italian Partita IVA (i.e, being a contractor). The company accepted: they were already familiar with Remote.
The customer service, whenever needed, is prompt, knowledgable and professional. Contractor payment/invoicing is free (nice feature).
Inclusion of health insurance when onboarding an employee. They already have health insurance so did not want to get the mandatory/included health insurance for them.

All of my questions were resolved very quickly, support is awesome. Documents were uploaded and proofed very fast, and the dashboard interface is user-friendly and understandable. I'm receiving all of the payrolls in time, taxes, etc are paid by the company. Support for Ukraine works brilliant, thanks for that also.
There were some issues with the correction of the contract in the begging, but that was more of ours laws, than thing with Remote.
User-friendly interface, you can understand what and where to click to do smth even without the support, but if you have any questions support will answer them within the day.
