Remote is a reliable and easy to use app for remote working with a great customer service team that's always responsive, fast, and eager to help. Overall a great experience!

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

Nothing to really complain about. There could be some more clarity around health insurance related topics but this may also fall on the employer's/insurance company side -- not sure whether it's a remote issue.

Remote provides a streamlined, transparent, and reliable way to keep up with payroll and expense payments while adhering to local and company policies. You can do everything online which saves a lot of time and energy for a remote employee.

The platform UI is simple, and the dashboard is clutter-free. The team is very quick in replies once you reach out for any assistance. Proactively provides us updates on things that need attention.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

Remote has made it possible for me to enjoy all the perks of being a normal local employee, while taking advantage of working for non-national companies. Its the perfect mix for the remote workforce.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

When ever there were problems with employment issues, it was easy to reach out and contact the support. Their chat option was very professional, and followed up quickly with solutions or proposals.

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Working for non-austiran companies means that I had to create a legal entety, take care of taxes, healthcare and legal matters which ate up a lot of time. Remote has removed that burden from me completely.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

I love the transparency Remote offers, from the onboarding process to even the lay-off. The level of transparency they provide is unparalleled and makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. On top of that, their help center is excellent, with a team of really careful people who are always ready to assist.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

I think Remote would greatly benefit from having their own platform designed for job hunters looking for remote positions. While there's nothing that I specifically dislike about Remote, I believe there's always room for improvement. Having a dedicated platform for remote job seekers would add an extra level of convenience and streamline the job search process even further. I'm sure it would be well received by the remote work community.

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Remote has truly been a game-changer for me, enabling me to work for a Californian company from the comfort of my own home in Brasilia. One of the most important aspects of this arrangement is that our contract was fully compliant with Brazilian laws, making the bureaucracy of hiring a person in Brazil a non-issue.

Remote customer service responded promptly whenever you have inquiry. Very accessible and user friendly website. Easy to access payslip and bank details. Great addedd benefits from Remote family.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

As for me having a once a month pay process is a challenge for budgeting. It will be helpful if you can go with bi-monthly salary with Philippine employees. Overall experience is great

Payroll services and Vacation time off request. Paying statutory benefits is hassle-free since remote covers it already. On time salary distribution with easy access payslip online.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

I like how Remote maintains a centralized location for all my payroll needs. Keep track of my PTOs, review and approve reimbursements, and show all my payslips without using multiple platforms.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

I just wish they have a landline or phone support. Sometimes, employment verification needs to setup calls to verify. Other than that, the email support is awesome.

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

My company does not need to directly wire my payroll to me. Remote does that for us! It also files all our statutory requirements which removes extra work on my part as an individual who wants to pay taxes.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

I am very happy with the service offered by remote, they explain everything in detail, you have 24/7 support and no question has ever gone unanswered, payment is always on time and I have all my documentation at hand. 100% recommended.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

I would like the payrolls to always be available on the same day of the month. Maybe having a planification calendar to assure that we received the payslip on the same time that the payment.

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

To be able to work for international companies that do not necessarily have an international recruitment procedure.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

The app is really helpful for checking paylisps, reimbursment requests, and keeping track of payments date for every period. Also useful to keep all personal information up to date and checking details about your current contract.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

The only thing I can think of is by comparing the website version with the app - the feature to download your contract and your hiring documents has not been implemented yet.

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easy to manage information about my upcoming payments and all the other relevant information about my contract. Also useful to download my paylisps and be informed.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

- great account executives who answered all my silly very specific questions - always kept me up to date on what was happening - had a recent issue with emails notifications, they got back to me within 12 hours with a quick resolution - feels like they were on your side throughout the whole process even if it's just 1 person i was going to use it for

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

hard to say as only used it for 1. One that got me a bit confused are the diff user access, the manager of the employee couldn't get notifs regarding holidays or requests (equipment) unless they were admin which i had to do. Again this was OK to do with 1 employee but wouldn't be able to give this access to multiple managers

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

- we didnt have an entity in Denmark, where we wanted to hire someone asap. Remote was a quick solution!

Everything is centralized in the platform. Pay slips, and payments are always on time. I mailed them only one time to ask about something, and they were really responsive and cooperative. Great service 🫡

What do you like best about Remote.com?

The whole process with Remote was very easy. The website was simple to navigate. I had no complaints from the employees. As the admin, there was not much I needed to do.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

The thing I disliked about Remote was the invoicing process. There would be an invoice at the beginning of the month and also a credit from the previous month.

What do you like best about Remote.com?

Being a freelancer in Spain is very painful, as the conditions are deplorable compared to employees. Remote makes it possible to be hired as an Spanish employee without the hassle of setting up a company in Spain.

What do you dislike about Remote.com?

The integration with external systems could be improved. In my case, I use Build for Teams to report my monthly expenses, but I need to register them twice every time; this should be done automatically.

What problems is Remote.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

I don't have to be hired as an external contractor in Spain but as an employee. That makes accounting much simpler for me and improves my unemployment conditions.
