Remote has allowed me to onboard in a very smooth fashion. The process was clear, communication was top-notch, the interface is very intuitive and user-friendly, and last but not least, the customer support team is superb. Expense refunds and time-off requests are super easy to submit and follow-up on. The app makes it even more convenient as your receipts are directly scanned and you pretty much don't have to type in anything.
I haven't encountered any downsides with Remote as of today.
I am working for a foreign company. Thanks to remote, I can still work from France and benefit from the French legal framework, which is more advantageous in my opinion. Commonly the gap for the software consultants is the hole to handle an automatic payment increase because the inflationaty adjustment. It could be great if Remote.com help us to provide support in order to manage this inflationary adjustment in order to be sure that the MX$ 100.00 today will have the same value 3 years after. As you know, MX$ 100.00 today will have minor value at 3 years after according to the inflation in the country, so for instance, maybe the value will be MX$ 90.00 ... and from our side we need to start a procedure to get an increase of our payment. I think that the request to increase our payment according our performance should be different to the automatic payment increase based on the inflationary adjustment.

My only bad experience was that the support person in charge of my case was changed with no warning, and I had some trouble getting reassigned. Lately the support has been very slow, compared to where it was at the beginning of the year (same day vs 1week+ for resolution)

I have not had any negative experiences with Remote. The CFO pushed back a bit on the monthly fee, but when provided a comparison to other services on the market, he quickly realized it was a fair price.
Remote allows us to onboard talent without worrying about local registration and potential tax liability issues. Payroll in other currencies is processed promptly and without issue, with the company paying Remote in our currency. Without this service, we would not consider expanding our hiring search to multiple countries , for fear that we would have to allocate a portion of our global income to the locality where we are employing talent. This allows us to hire the best people for the job, at acceptable salaries, without regard to their physical residence.
