Easy to use, very reactive support.Does exactly what I need for expense reports, payslips etc.
Sometimes hard to get specific clarity on regional tax. Can take time but they get there.

Works as advertisied with features around expenses, managing documents and PTO. I would recco companies to use this service, easy to setup and get onboarded.
Mostly from my org on knowing what the onboarding for me woudl have been, they didn't fully know. However, it was super easy for me so no question where needed.

The platform is very organized, you can see all the info you would need. They have a nice new feature for separating payments and expenses.

It allows me to get paid internationally, both in regular compensation and expenses. The interface for submitting expenses is pretty nice.
As a remote hire, I had no choice in using Oyster HR. That being said, I found the onboarding process to be quick and simple. A very light touch on my part. Support has been timely and helpful when needed. I can access all my documents whenever I want...
Not much to dislike, really. I had zero expectations beyond signing my contract and accessing my documents, so as it stands; those expectations have been met.
From my perspective, Oyster solves problems for employers more than employees, as they provide employers with the services required to hire people in regions where the employer doesn't operate. Whilst it is a good service, it is no less a service that I would expect from any employer
They provide a good service, but they did not meet expectations in terms of service providers. The insurance companies they work with are not widely accepted in my area. They need to use more commonly used insurance providers.

The contact person in Oyster was always ready to support and answer any questions I had.
Once there was about a week of delay for fund transfer. The issue got resolved short after we contacted Oyster.

As a small nonprofit, we appreciate that Oyster's team sees us as a valued client and partner. They've invested in learning alongside us and listened to our input on new features we'd like to see on the platform. You can tell that Oyster's culture is positive and professional - this comes through in our interactions. I like that they're committed to their own team's success and happiness and ours as well. It feels like a real partnership. We have a fantastic account manager who is helping to keep everyone aligned and help us get the most out of the platform. We also have access to experts within the org - e.g., product and legal - which feels empowering.
It's taken us a little while to learn about how our respective organizations work, how to properly involve the right people and resolve issues when they come up, however our Oyster team takes responsibility to track down answers and improve process where it's needed (vs. making excuses) and that has really strengthened the trust and relationship,

Oyster takes all requests with priority and resolve in short time.
Could be more clear in the leaves and how employees can take them. More upfront with the companies whom it is providing services and ensure the budgeting etc mentioned in offer letters are accurate.

Simple to use. Now I have a new account manager and she seems to be very on top of things (didn't have this experience until now). It integrates with Personio very easily.
Tickets and customer support take a while to close issues. A lot of back and forth with emails and sometimes they are confusing. Invoicing is quite chaotic, sometimes they forget to charge a line and they issue a new invoice for it. Customer support changes quite often.

The ease of access of benefits available to me
It makes accessing benefits easy. However, as a local employer in India, the leave policies could be much better and perks can improve a bit.

As a global employer, they use third-party providers which are not as customer friendly or responsive.
Hiring employees outside of locations where we are registered. Unfortunately, EORs do not seem to have caught up to where we are as a global economy in terms of being able to hire quickly in all locations.
The user experience and the documentation availability is quite straightforward and easy to use. Its easy to find receipts and apply for leaves. The technical queries are resolved quickly.
Oyster do not support Digital nomad and this should be one of the perks of having a remote job. They should mentioned in cyrstal clear in the contracts that they do not allow it at all.
Oyster is able to provide contracts and salary receipts right away. I don't have to run behind the support or anyone for such things. The other processes are clear on the dashboard itself.
I like the platform. It is easy to get where I need to go in the platform. It is easy to add new hires. I haven't had to worry about payroll since I've been using Oyster. It has been so easy to make sure our UK contractors get paid on time.
I do not like that I cannot speak to someone when I have a question. All support is through email. Sometimes the responses are lagging.
Oyster is helping us pay contractors in the UK. It is saving me a lot of time. Basically after set up, I have not had to do much at all besides verify that there are no changes to pay. Oyster makes sure our contractors get paid on time.
I like that it has allowed me to work with a company oversees and the flexibility that gives. The dashboard is very easy to use and straightforward.
Emails sometimes take too long to get answered and there is not that much flexibility with how they manage bonuses
Oyster has allowed me to continue working for my US company after moving to the UK. They handle my payroll which is a massive benefit.
It's practical and has a friendly interface. It's straightforward to generate and send an invoice and know its status. And it's fast to get my payment when I get paid.
When I had a problem, I felt that I didn't get enough attention in solving that problem. It took me a long time to receive a payment and even caused me financial losses.
