They are very quickly to answer any question you have, always helpful and professional. The Oyster team is also very good following up any request
Perhaps it would be good to received a payslip automatically the first week of the month
I have all the social guarantees that I am entitled to as part of a company based in my country.
Simple to use product, very responsive support, and flawless service. I was onboarded via Oyster, and the whole experience was painless.
Honestly, nothing. There's no flaws or hiccups that come to mind.
Working for a fully remote company has its challenges. The largest obstacle at the start is the administrative workload, the paperwork and the bureaucracy required. Oyster made this a breeze.
Having someone who can support you during the whole hiring process.
Employment laws are not easy to navigate, and even with Oyster support, hiring abroad could be difficult.
We can now create small and flexible local teams without the effort of having a hub.
Love the ease of onboarding and tracking overseas contractors and staff
Haven't found any downsides yet, but potentially will run into an issue of a country of operations not be available yet.
Onboarding and managing contracts & paying invoices
Our company transitioned our international team members to OysterHR during the pandemic and we are very happy with their service. The portal is super easy for both HR and the team members to access and use. The reps we worked with were knowledgeable, helpful and aweosme! Highly recommend!
Nothing comes to mind that I would improve or change. OysterHR has been wonderful and fully met the needs of our international team members!
We were able to solve the problem of employing and paying team members who are not located in the United States. Due to COVID, team members were not able to travel to the US (Seattle) to work in person at our office, and had to stay in their home countries. OysterHR helped us keep them employed and provide them the same level of service as our other US-based team members.
I don't need to think about it anymore! I can hire talents from anywhere
I cannot use OysterHR in the country where my company is registered because their pricing structure makes it not very competitive, but hopefully, it will change soon.
For a startup like us, we can hire great talents from anywhere we don't need to compete with well-known companies in a busy market like London.
With the help of Oyster and their super friendly team, we've been able to rapidly scale our team and hire the best talent without boundaries. Remote hiring is becoming one of our superpowers and Oyster enables us to work with the best folks from 10 countries and counting. We no longer have to limit our pipelines of candidates based on our presence or ability to organize payroll and benefits, because we offloaded all the local complexity to Oyster. Being able to get consistent payroll and benefits in countries around the globe enables us to focus on building the strongest team and our business.
Although I like Oyster's service and customer focus, I think their pricing is pretty steep. I understand that complexity has its cost, but I would love to see the prices decrease when our team grows or when Oyster grows (reducing their cost). If they're able to maintain the level of service and can reduce cost as they scale, I believe they'll be even more successful in leveling the playing field for global talent.
We hired 15+ people across 10+ countries without headaches, providing a streamlined onboarding and payroll experience for all team members through Oyster. We're able to hire the best talent from across the globe without being limited by borders.
I love how Oyster gives me the local requirements associated with the country where I am hiring personnel.
The invoice process is not very user-friendly, also I don't get to make changes to invoices, I have to submit a dispute instead.
Generating a contract, keeping track of time off, making payments to contractors directly in their bank accounts overseas. This is saving me a lot of time and money.
They take care of everything. They respond quickly, and whenever I need help with something (paperwork, insurrance questions,...) they handle it
It would be great if Oyster adds support for private retirement plans
Working as an FTE with a company in another country
The support team has been very good so far. The online platform is easy to use - even our Finance team likes it.
The invoicing is a bit odd in that we get an estimated bill and then the actual bill. Reconciling the two can take some time and places additional workload on our Finance team.
Hiring great talent in markets where we don't have a legal entity and keeping us compliant in those countries.
