I really like how easy greenhouse is to use. It allows me to easily manage my positions and candidates. I can set reminders to follow up with candidates and easily keep track of where candidates are in the interviews process with the "Pipeline" tab on roles. Greenhouse also makes it easy to find and pull data for all different parts of the process from time in stage to pass through rates. It allows you to build custom reports and save them making it easy to keep track of any data you may need. The tool's CRM feature is also a very helpful way to track candidates who may not be good for an active position, but could be a good fit for future roles. The allow you to create and customize talent pools to keep track of candidates you may have reached out to or have worked with on past roles. There is also a plug in which allows you to easily add candidates to pools when you find them on other websites like Google or LinkedIn. I would recommend Greenhouse to other companies as their ATS tool as it is something that has worked very well for myself and our recruiting team.
The two main features Greenhouse lacks are searching within the system for skillsets/experience and data around if a pipeline is healthy. I understand this is a ATS versus a CRM, however it would be great if there was a way to search candidates based on skills listed in their resumes. This cannot be done anywhere within the system currently. Candidates can only be searched by identifying information such as name, phone number, and email. The other data point that would be very helpful that greenhouse does not currently present is what a "healthy" pipeline should look like for a role based on similar past positions. It would be great if there was a data feature that allowed you to use specific past roles pass through rates to determine what a healthy pipeline would look like for the fututre. I have manually built something like this in the past and found it very helpful to share with hiring managers and business leaders to help them understand what a healthy pipeline is.
This is acting as our ATS system that helps us keep track of all applicants and candidates for our roles. It also helps our company understand data such as pass through rates, time in stage, and time to fill for our positions.
*Easy for all of our teams to use and have everything they need at their finger tips! *Implementation was a breeze and the team did great and ensuring we had everything we needed. *This integrated seamlessly into Rippling and our other tech stack. *Our whole organization now uses this for referrals and with the integration to our payroll system it has taken out any guess work for employees getting paid on referrals on time.
*Wish there was an option to not have to use Docusign for offer letters.
Greenhouse has helped us even before it was implemented with the anticipation of how this tool will move our organization forward. Have a tool that talks to all of our other systems, and allows us to set up scorecards/interview steps/etc in one place without having to use a google sheet, has been fantastic.
The most helpful part of Greenhouse is how easy it is to use for internal team members and candidates alike. We had a great implentation experience and have recieved amazing ongoing customer support. We not only love the ease of us, but also the functionality and features, including its reporting/data capabilities and CRM feature.
The only downside to Greenhouse that I can think of is that they have some really great features like an onboarding extension that I wish were more affordable for an early stage business.
Greenhouse is helping us solve how to reach out to and manage candidate processes as well as attract great talent to our job posts through their relationships with other job boards. It also enables great reporting to our board and investors alike about our recruiting metrics.

Scheduling Wise, Time Zones are not mentioned for interviewers via their Calendar. Lever has this feature! But great ATS nevertheless!

Greenhouse is easy to navigate for all of our employees and integrates with our HR and payroll system which makes our process so much easier!
There's really not anything that I am unhappy with except that sometimes your integrations just remove themselves and you have to go add them back.
Previously we used a system that didn't have as many reports and track the whol eapplicant process as well, and it just wasn't as easy to use. Greenhouse is so simple and allows us to really vet our employees before we hire!

Gem, Gmail, Slack, DocuSign, Calendly, you name it, it's probably possible. - The fact that everyone at the company can use it, every day. Internal job boards, sharing jobs to social media, submitting referrals. This was built for everyone. - The job setup process is so straightforward and so easy. Bulk actions. Permissioning. SO MUCH MORE!
There is one thing over ALL of my years using Greenhouse that I wish was there, and that would be sending an actual calendar invite to candidates so we (internally) could see if they (candidates) accept or not. Greenhouse sends invites to candidates, but invites are sent as an attachment, so they have to open it and add it to their calendars. It's never been a dealbreaker for me because I add verbiage about the attached invite, when to use it or disregard it, etc. But that is the only thing I can think of!
Hiring! It helps us avoid using spreadsheets or tools that are not an ATS, as an ATS.

I do wish there were a few other product offerings and the reporting was still set up prior to the change a few years ago. Addtionally, I woud like to send reprots to people who I do not have to make an admin. This causes a great deal of issues.

Wish scheduling wasn't only available on 15 min increments, that confidentiality was easier to maintain with internal candidates, and that there was an email sync to save all emails to/from candidates

I love how responsive the support team is when I have a question or comment. They're always ready with an answer, even if that answer is "it's on our product roadmap." I know they take my requests seriously and have seen feature requests be fulfilled. The learning curve isn't too steep, and it's fairly easy to become proficient in utilizing its full potential in our talent acquisition team.
The only thing I might update is the interface of the application page that faces applicants. Compared to some other application systems, it's not quite as shiny looking.
It allows us to keep a comprehensive history of an applicant, easily communicate with our applicants, and source in our applicant pools in an effective manner. It also easily integrates with all of the other services we use across the company.
Their implementation process was clearly defined and easy to follow. Their documentation is very well done. The have an excellent / easy to navigate user interface. They have a vast number of TA features.
The integration(s) are easy to configure, but not customizable. We had additional fields to bring over from Greenhouse to our HRIS system, but it wasn't possible to include them.
They are continually enhancing their platform to meet customer demand.
Greenhouse not only secures all our candidate data, but is VERY easy to use AND they are always trying to accommodate our company needs. Further our GH account people partners are readily available and truly know the product. What else could anyone need?
I only WISH pulling reports was easier for people who aren't too technically savvy. But honestly Greenhouse is still easy to use and brings many features we use every day.

Features, workflows, etc. are extremely easy to understand and are UI-friendly.
For example, when using ClassMarker, I wish there was a better way to see the scoring within the interview stage so we didn't have to go into a different app.
Tracking multiple open roles and hundreds of candidates in one cohesive solution. Also, retaining resumes per state and federal law requirements. Greenhouse allows us to hire faster and creates a transparent process for the hiring team.

I like GH is easy to use, it has many integrations you can add. It makes the recruitment process faster and more efficient.
I believe my team is working on making the offer process a bit easier and with fewer steps. It will benefit the time of the offer process and the information requested on every offer. The information needs to be added manually we are working together to find a solution.
