not being able to customize in Korean and to available number of API.
Being able to keep track with individual application and pull out data.
I love how intuitive Greenhouse is as an ATS. It allows me to best the most productive talent partner and leader by providing easy-to-use software. It's also a great ATS from a candidate's point of view.
While I love Greenhouse and it's my preferred ATS, I hope that their reporting dashboards and capability could be a bit better in terms of ease of use, customization and visualization. In addition, I would love to see more customization for candidate surveys; both how to set it up for candidates and the break down of responses.
Greenhouse solves for tracking applicant data, interview processes, scheduling and understanding how platforms are doing. It benefits me to see how things are going in a given pipeline for my team and how we can take the reports to iterate on process improvements for the future.
I love that Greenhouse makes it easy to do everything in one platform. Communicate with candidates, the hiring team, manage jobs etc. There are tons of features we haven't even touched yet, so I know that once we've implemented everything, it will help the hiring of the maturity of the talent acquisition department in our organization
There are a couple of minor product things that I would be interested in seeing Greenhouse implement. Ie. BCC function in emailing candidates, more in depth customizable reporting.
Putting all/most of Talent Acquisitions database in one place. Creating ease in the entire process from application to onboarding. Creating organization in our candidate/job databases
This is a wonderful ATS and as software goes, it is so easy to use. Customer Service is wonderful also!
Really love it! Nothing bad to say! Glad to have it.
Making hiring a whole lot easier!
Being able to house candidates, conversations, feedback and allow recruiters and agencies to communicate about candidates in one place
As someone who has used Greenhouse for over 3 years, I'm pretty adept to the ins and outs of the system for the most part. Having implemented the system a few times I can say that it does take a while to get teams acclimated, especially if they have never used an ATS before, however, its a great system.
Solving the back and forth emails with multiple resumes attached, no feedback or a word doc if that, and allows the talent team to manage candidates in an organized way throughout the interview process. It also allows us to see any major issues that may arise so that we can address (compensation, in office requirements, reasons for not taking offers, etc.)
What I like best as I can meet the team and have a human relationship and solve real challenges together by being creative and collaborative. They are a people company not just the technology platform very rare in this industry.
I don't like the question about what do I dislike. I say we focus on the positives.
They were helping us solve the issue of candidate experience from applicant to on boarding. Now the experience will be consistent and the tools allow us to keep the relationship thriving. Also, Greenhouse is great at helping us ask the right questions because it can be overwhelming. They are here for me literally.
The data, you can see everything, the templates which we can make to make things almost automated, I love the fact that GH has all the things very clearly mentioned.
Sometimes, when I receive availability, I do not get a notification, that has been the only thing which I have seen as problematic. Gh can sometime's have glitch when the nu,ber of availability is too high and you go on to schedule an interview.
I think it is solving a lot of problems for me, like scheduling, onboarding, having good templates which can be sent in a second and makes our life a lot easier, offer generation is also quite easy of a process.
Greenhouse is easy to navigate for my team of seasoned Recruiters, but also for my hiring managers who are less familiar with how an ATS should look. It's a good source of truth for candidates for many years, and because it's easy to navigate, I can quickly go back into historical activity for a candidate, and remember exactly what was going on, and where we left off.
I don't understand how all of the reporting capabilities work, but that might be an issue I need to troubleshoot. My old ATS (proprietary software of AWS) had a function of - Find more candidates like this one, that are in our ATS. I really miss that.
I am not sure if this is a new function of GH, but it's new to me - The function where you can search candidates with Boolean strings to cut through some applications.
We switched to greenhouse as I was returning from maternity leave. I was concerned about switching to a new ATS that wasn't established yet, but it has turned out to be SO easy to use and user-friendly! It's also easy for our hiring managers and has made competency-based hiring practices much easier!
It was really difficult to set up, having no prior knowledge or experience in greenhouse. Having a greenhouse employee to fully assist us with implementation would have been nice.
We have a goal that 50% of our finalists identify as BIPOC. The greenhouse reports have been crucial in ensuring that we hit that metric. We are also focused on competency based hiring, the blind reviews or take-home assignments, and the interview question/competencies have helped ensure we are non-bias during our interviews.
It's organized, easy to use, and you pick it up easier than other ATS I've used
The interface isn't the prettiest, sometime things are glitchy
Scheduling, offer letters, keeping organized
