Compare Greenhouse with other popular tools in the same category.
It is very easy to use, keeps the pipeline moving, a lot of great reports.
Lacking Ai tools for high volume recruiting, UKG implementation is not very useful
Applicant Tracking, hiring, offers, managing job postings
Auto availability checking/receiving Resume pre-screen Easy to navigate and operate Integration with the background check and the HRIS system Good customer support
Position areas cannot be categorized by departments or functions, so all the positions are listed together, which increase the difficulty to find the target position
Scheduling with different candidates. Integrations with different platforms.
I like how user friendly GH is and how much material is available for training and learning more. I use scheduling tools most. Greenhouse is the only ATS tool I have used.
I think it would be nice to be able to have live chat where we can share our screens when we have an issue. Overall I am happy with the product and what it has to offer.
Greenhouse has allowed us the opportunity to clearly communicate with candidates and stay in touch accordingly. Every new feature that comes out has always benefited our team positively and made us more productive.
Greenhouse is very intuitive, I like that I can add stages as needed. I can integrate it with HireEZ which is very helpful because I use Greenhouse daily!
I would like to integrate with LI Recruiter
Reporting - we get accurate data from Greenhouse
Ease of use when managing reqs and candidate pipeline.
I wish Greenhouse had better reporting - sometimes I feel like when I'm pulling reports it's a bit clunky and not as intuitive.
Greenhouse is my favorite ATS - it's easy to use and easy to train people on. Very intuitive and offers a lot of integrations with other applications that I use as a Recruiter like LinkedIn and DocuSign
This is my 4th or 5th ATS to use as a recruiter and my first one to implement. First, the implementation process was so streamlined and easy to follow. I felt supported all the way with top-notch learning materials from articles to videos - everything was very turn-key. Now that I'm using the software, I find it to be very intuitive and probably the best platform that actually helps recruiters do their job versus creating more work for them to do. I'm only in week 2 of go-live, but I can already tell this will be a best-in-class solution for our entire company to utilize.
My only comment here is that I feel a little overwhelmed since I'm brand new at using it, as it is with any new system.
End to end solution for all stakeholders. Robust reporting. Better collaboration during the interview process. Ability to build and promote strong recruiting practices.
It's efficiency, the calendar integration. Makes the job 10x easier
I don't have anything in mind regarding on the negative feedback on GH
ATS Tracking on GH is unmatched. The quick emails that someone replied to your email or the quick reminders really helps a lot. Specially if you're managing multiple candidates at once.
Love the user friendly experience and online assistant service provided 24*7
May be could come up with more features, Example : Notifying if the interviewers response for interview invites with a TICK for accept and X for declined invites.
Scheduling interviews as previously we would scheudle on google calendars which was not time efficient
The ease of integration with other systems is great. The fact that you can do absolutely everything within the tool itself so you can work cross team and cross function and everyone is on the same page. It is all intuative once you know the tool. Customer support is quick to respond to questions and queries.
I think if some of the features could be more concise and potentially a lesser view for HMs so it is less confusing or intimidating for new users.
It is saving a great deal of time as everything is in one place and can often be done with a single click. It is also fairly customisable to your organisation.
I like that Greenhouse organizes the influx of applicants and creates an easy way to navigate each open requisition. I also appreciate that it allows users to run their own reports specific to the information I'm looking for.
One thing that I have a hard time with is the amount of applicant duplicates that require to be merged. I would like if Greenhouse could somehow screen the resume or applicant info and add them into the pipeline without us having to merge.
Since Greenhouse was implemented, it has solved the lack of applicants we were once receiving. Also, it organizes our hiring process simply, and allows us to easily navigate the system, which creates a more efficient workday.
Greenhouse promotes a high level of effiency and reminders that do not allow candidates to slip through the cracks, highly efficient
None that I can think of, I have enjoyed my experience with Greenhouse so far.
It has benefited me in my organization and effiency when hiring for high volume roles.
GH allows you to suggest multiple time slots for all interviews in the process. It is very easy to follow and visually see where all assigned roles are up to
It would be helpful if the calendar synch option did not include accepted peer OOO, and PTO which restricts available time slots for HM.
Greenhouse solves the issue of not being able to track and understand what the state of every job you are working on is at. It reduces a lot of time being able to visually see the health of all jobs, and know where to allocate your time and to tell which roles receive the highest amount of internal job applications
That is is very simple, very easy to navigate and know what step is next in the hiring process. I like how it links to Indeed. I use the website daily to check for new resumes submitted. Easy to navigate the website and search for the next step in the hiring process.
It needs more color to the page, easy to chat to agents.
I am unsure of this, I have no issues with greenhouse
- Great control and organization of your hiriring process - Many tools and resources to source, coordinate events and process the candidates - Integration with other systems like Prelude, Workday, Slack...
- It might be a little overwhelming to complete all the required information to succesfully open a req (scorecards and attributes, interview panel, hiring team, job info...)
Move candidates through the different stages of the hiring process.
Ease of use and the ability to loop in teams for debrief
Tracking candidates in process and follow up
holistic approach to candidate experience
I love that Greenhouse has so many customization options along with different workflows that work for anyone's preferences. There are also hundreds of integrations for the tools that are already deeply engrained into you toolkit. All around great usability.
Although the reporting features and capabilites are much more comprehensive than our previous ATS, the one thing I often think I would change is just a little bit more customizations with the reporting creation, fields, and filters.
Greenhouse provides a comprehensive list of imporant features and overall usability that were lacking with our previous ATS
I enjoy the reminders, and ease of use when looking at a candidate as a whole big picture and also looking at the job details in one central location. I also like the email reminders that I am able to customize and use to keep up with high volumes of recruiting. I enjoy the easy way of being able to pull up reports and customize these reports as well.
Importing data from resumes can be captured more efficiently. There are times where the system captures incorrect emails or defaults it to 3rd party website emails. The formatting of phone numbers can be enhanced too, and if a candidate applies to multiple jobs, it'd be nice if the system can merge everything for us. I would like to see something similar to Avature ATS' lists feature. Where we can create lists (like reports) and do things in bulk in there, or edit data right off of that list instead of going back and forth into the candidate profile.
Recent updates such as being able to customize more things on Greenhouse is AMAZING. I enjoy being able to keep track of things easily this way and helps me be on top of candidate applications.
The user friendly navigation of it all and the different stages your able to disposition your candidates in.
I haven't found anything specific to be a downsize of Greenhouse yet.
It is solving the issue of being able to track candidates in the various different stages.
The ability to customize hiring stages and build scorecards into every interview. I also enjoy the built in automation abilities that exist for notifications as well as application rules to be set up for efficiencies. Another thing that Greenhouse has done very well is the enablement and training materials available for ll types of users whether it be system admins, hiring managers, recruiters, or even occasional interviewers. The Support team has always been incredible. Our CSM, Allie, is very consultative! Any quick questions I send to the Support team via the chat are usually resolved in the same day, or at least within 24 hours in my experience!
I would like to see the job kick-off forms include the ability to ingest links or attachments, as opposed to being limited to text entry.
The primary solution Greenhouse provides for us is being the single source of truth for all things recruiting - to include out intake information, all recorded interview scorecards, and all candidate communications.
I LOVE the interface of Greenhouse, and how easy it is to search for candidates, tailor each role and interview plan, and the reports you can pull are super beneficial! This is a super user-friendly ATS; I can't imagine my team's success without it. We use Greenhouse every day, all day. We have specifically designated support from both an Account Manager and a Customer Success Manager. We can easily add other internal colleagues who are involved in the interview process without having to give a full training on using the ATS. One of my favorite features is the ability to integrate Greenhouse into all of the other job boards we utilize. This is super helpful for getting as many eyes on our job postings as possible, and then candidates can directly apply with a link that feeds directly into Greenhouse.
There isn't anything I dislike about Greenhouse! It's more a matter of me exploring more features, now that we have mastered the basics.
Greenhouse makes it easy to organize, track, and manage all candidates in one place. It's helping my recruitment team to keep pace with hiring demand, as well as giving necessary access to those involved in our reviewing/interview process. We really benefit from being able to pull performance/tracking reports for literally any kind of data we want to isolate and review.
Love how weh have a CRM that we can keep candidates on the bench.
Wish there was a better dashboard to track our candidates and active jobs.
Helping us schedule interviews much easier and tracking their progress easier.
It is super user friendly and has high-speed.
Nothing comes to mind at this time - it is great.
It is keeping our candidate pool very organized with all of the details needed to complete the hiring process.
Intuitive system, ease of use. Great customer support.
Sourcing capabilities for candidates and prospects already in the system could be better
organizing candidates for open roles
From what I have experienced, and how I use it in my role, it leaves nothing to be desired. Granted, I am not focused on the Talent space, but rather am in an HR function that primarily utilizes Greenhouse to obtain information regarding hired candidates. The only issues I am aware of with Greenhouse is that the linkage between it and ADP (our HRIS) can be a bit tricky, but this may be more of an ADP issue, or an issue stemming from the platform that administers the link.
Frankly I don't believe I use Greenhouse as much as I should; if I were to take on more Talent-related tasks, I am sure I may have more to say about Greenhouse, both on the positive and constructive.
Automating the transfer from candidate to new hire in our HRIS, automating background checks, etc.
There are so many things I love about GH. It is so easy to move candidates through the process, communicate with them and vet them. The thing I like best is the integrations with calendars. That feature, by far is the best I have worked with. It is truley seemless and easy.
I wish GH had a CRM-type product that allowed for easy email, outreach campaigns. That way, we can keep prospects engaged, even for a more than several months at a time.
The problem of time management. It is so easy to move candidates through the process and it takes very little time.
Ease of use, great customer service, reliability and frequent improvements
I was some of the data was more granular and users had the ability to filter in different ways.
Greenhouse is making our candidate lifecycle easier to manage. I am benefited by more efficient and reliable scheduling tools.
User-friendly. Clear interface. Helps keep recruiting organized.
Some of the features I would like are not currently available - including an option to send interview availability emails in bulk, be able to send auto-emails to candidates in different stages to keep them warm/updated, ingetration options with more niche recruiting platforms (VeganJobs.com, Vegan Job Board, etc), and blind resume review.
Greenhouse allows us to be more equitable in our recruiting efforts with standardizing our interviews, assigning scorecards, asking for pronouns, demographic surveys, etc.
Easy to use, user friendly, a lot of options for looking through applicants, etc. I love Greenhouse. There are also many integrations that you can use with other platforms that make it efficient and easy. Easy to learn as well.
There is nothing that I don't like about GH.
Greenhouse integrates with all platforms which makes it easy to use. The fact that the UX is so user friendly makes it efficient and easy to learn.
- integrates with our different HRIS systems making onboarding easy
- sometimes integration mapping can be weird
- keeping all candidate and new hire info in a single system that feeds into our HRIS once hired
very user friendly and has great features
could have a better mobile app, and a texting feature built in
saves us time
