In Oyster, I like the punctuality of this platform, as well as the timely help and attention of the support team. Help to solve emerging problems in a timely manner.
In general, I am completely satisfied with the work of this platform. I did not notice any special cases of inconvenience. The only thing that raises questions is that it is not possible to change the data in an already registered card.
Oyster is a great time saver. He resolves issues with the receipt of wages with little or no involvement from me, which saves my time.
it's easy to operate and keeps good track of invoices.
I have not had any down experience with oyster.
it bridges the gap between me and my employer in payments.
The way we can submit expenses, it's so easy and you have a lot of options, we can also upload images, check our benefits, see previous invoices, contracts, and much more!
Sometimes the payment take more time than it should but I believe it's not Oyster's problem.
facilitating the expense management of my company, and also sending the salary.
How easy it is to navigate around the platform, having everything in one place
There is nothing I dislike about the product.
Makes it easy to view payslips and has everything organised in one platform
I can log in and go out quickly and easily find the information I need. It can be bank information, invoices, or even to review my contract and good news. so great
I do not know what to say about this question because, for me, all is good. What I'm doing now is striving to learn more about oysters and all this excellent information
When I read my contract the first time, I did not understand it perfectly, but I took time to read it using my application as it was terrific to understand it using oyster
Great and intuitive platform. Friendly and professional team. Facilitated a worry-free relationship with my employer.
Nothing that I can think of. I wish it had a mobile app (I could not find it if there is one).
It facilitated my contractor relationship (agreement and payroll) with my overseas employer.
Oyster makes payments available and easier from developed countries to the underdeveloped ones in Africa, and the process is very smooth and nice.
Nothing, it's nice. We just need a chatbot so we can talk to a human being when we face challenges.
Oyster is making it easier for international firms to pay their remote workers worldwide, especially in countries where some financial services are not available.
You can manage your finances and also with its transparency in handling salaries.
The period of time for the delivery of my salary.
It's efficient, and it helps in making time more productive. You'll have all the answers to your queries anytime, anywhere.
You can see and access all your job information, documents and salaries on Oyster. Also, the fact that Oyster helps you connect with international employers is amazing.
No downsides so far. Maybe the salary documents can be updated more consistently.
Connecting local talents with international employers gives you more opportunities to work with great companies.
I like the graphics and the way its arranged,my first time usung it, i felt a real office,i can be able to acces my contract, see past payments and so on,i can see my day offs and leaves, this a nice remote office.
I dislike nothing, because i see nothing to dislike on Oyster. To be sincere to me this site is organised very well as a proffesional site for us workers. so am just good.
Makes payment easy and it can be tracted by what status, so it makes someone plan accordingly, Solves the problem of having paper contracts, here everything is found in one place. there alot more others that i cant write.
I have have recenly discovered the Global Employment Pass by Oyster and really love what they offer. It is an awesome resource - the "Oyster Academy" courses focus on remote fundamentals, how to organise your time and stay productive and creating effective distributed teams. Courses are clear, engaging, user-friendly and really informative. Brilliant idea to offer a certification upon completion of the course too. OysterHR website features also blog articles, interview skills tips and podcasts - terrific selection of topics. Can't recommend it enough for everyone looking to start their remote journey or working in a company that is planning to explore more flexibility in their way of working.
I find the resources offered really helpful and looking forward to exploring how they will develop them!
Using their day to day processes, systems and employee examples, Oyster is showing how effective and efficient distributed teams can work without compromising employee well being, work life balance and productivity. Inpiring to see!
Very wide and strong benefits for employees, which make employees concentrate on their tasks. Oyster Apps are very user-friendly UI which makes scheduled tasks for HR very easy.
Not many so far. I would suggest my ex-HR people work at Oyster if there is any chance. Especially for the continuous improvement on that App.
I used to work with one of the largest IT companies in the world, but so many complicated internal systems for HR/GR even though they are the leader of DX... The Oyster App is a such nice and advanced system which make all users' life very easy.
I like how simple and clean the interface is. It's straightforward for me to use which is great for an employee who isn't based in the US.
I don't really dislike anything in Oyster.
All my contracts and invoices are in one place, which makes it easy for me to go back, and everything is well organized.
My payment arrives right on time. And with this platform, my payment is reduced by non-transparent charges
Nothing at all. I think Oyster satisfies my needs excellently
It is usually difficult to receive payment in Africa, but with Oyster, I get paid quickly and easily
Working with Oyster has been great so far. The application is intuitive, everything is automated and customer support is really efficient and nice.
Not much to say, I had a few bugs when submitting the documentation, but it was easy to solve.
I moved recently to Spain and wouldn't like to work as a contractor for the company I'm working for. Having an employee to sort all the payment is great.
Helpful examples for each points and the videos coming from actual employees.
I guess it's not going to remain free forever, is it?
Onboarding new staff in remote companies
It is very practical, you can do everything from your home and you can do everything very quickly in the simplest way possible
Nothing, it's perfect, I don't have nothing to complain
My payment haha
* Freedom to choose international employee * Less administrative hassles and no need to understand international laws per country * Provide benefit packages for international employees with multiple cost options
1. I would prefer more interactive ways to make changes to portal instead of making calls to Oyster employees. 2. Need to have security of documents per customer. I received a contract for another client of yours. I am worried our information and our international employee's information may be shared with another client.
Quick hiring around the globe, enables improving TTM for feature development economically
I like that everything can be found very quickly. I can access contracts, invoices, health insurance, etc., with just a few clicks. Also asking for reimbursement is very handy.
I can't update my legal address. Thus all tax forms are outdated, and I cannot use them for legalization in a country of residence (outside the US). It would be nice if it would be fixed
Oyster stores all my invoices, contract, and health insurance. I can ask for reimbursements. It's doing this job in very user-friendly manner and I just like it
All of the admin tasks that used to require someone from HR to answer are automated with Oyster. Streamlined and transparent processes for employers and employees alike.
Nothing comes to mind. Great product and service.
Nothing comes to mind.
It has been proved that the microlearning model that Oyster uses on its courses it´s the best solution to learning specialized content easily and in-depth, the materials gave various suggestions on how to handle time, resources, and relationships within a remote environment, all of which are essentials to be successful
It would be nice to have courses on specific tools that are largely used in remote environments such as Asana, Slack, Loom, Notion, etc. A course on the importance of documentation and how to execute one of these tools would be fantastic
The major problem of global hiring is being solved by their top notch product, but Oyster not only solves a business problem but a social one by making quality jobs accessible for knowledge workers in emerging economies
They prepare you beforehand so you understand what's expected, they offer great course's that equip you with understanding and how you'd meet with their expectations!
Nothing at the moment, nothing that I'd pinpoint and say nothings working they such a great and better place! Awesome awesome 👏 place!
Emotional needs Emotional intelligence and offer great opportunities, inclusivity and diversity oyster employs despite where you at in the world
One of the finest things about working with oyster is how easy it is to manage your benefits, your payslips and everything work related in one simple easy to use platform.
There are some limits to expenses you can put on the platform. It would be great if you had that limit visible, for example: You've logged 120$ out of you 150$ limit.
I've never had any issues that required Oyster's intervention. The most i've had were questions regarding the contract, which they managed to answer in timely fashion.
Everything is simple to consult and manage. The data aggregation is astonishing, submitting expenses is easy, consulting the docs and benefits is simple, and the time tracking is also helpful.
the process of submitting can be confusing with the title and the description, and you could add aggregated expenses, like "trip to the office", and add the flights, the hotel, and whatever is related to that.
Working for a company that does not have offices/legal team in my country
Ease of use, excellent customer support.
Nothing at the moment. Oyster solves all my GEP requirements.
Oyster has allowed us to scale our business
Hiring outside of your home country can be daunting. Various legalize for that specific country, holidays, terms and conditions, the list goes on. Oyster allows me to go to their portal and see up front what it will cost me to hire my candidate, they take care of all the contracts and questions the new hire has and the process is a smooth transition to the hire date.
My only con is that sometimes due to folks being in a different time zone when an urgent question comes up, there is a delay in responding. If someone can cover this 24/7 that would be great!
Oyster allows me to be more productive as I also support a CEO, Founder and CFO and run our office and HR functions as that is not my primary job. Oyster has allowed us to open the door to consider more global candidates.
I like the simplicity and thoroughness of the platform: the website has a lot of valuable and precise information and is very easy to use. I can easily find my documents and employment contracts.
A few options could be added, depending on the country of work: for instance, the number of TOIL days (French contract) is not referenced, which can be confusing.
I can finally enjoy working from home without legal concerns and enjoy all the benefits of working with an international team without worrying about complicated bureaucracy.
Oyster helped a lot in easing the process of working for a foreign company. It is like working for a company in your country with all the legal correctly accounted for. And then enjoying being an employee like any other while working for foreign companies that may not be able to hire you in your country without needing you to go contractor mode. Also, the level of support that I got from Oyster crew is amazing, any problem that could arise will be solved very fast.
Sometimes I get more than one requirement to fulfill some legalese needed, but honestly, nothing important. I am just writing something to dislike!
I have no further need to worry about being a contractor anymore in the face of my country's legislation. That means I don't need any financial and legal administrator, which had a cost. Fewer things to bother at the end of the month thanks to Oyster.
It's quick and will solve the issue that more and more people have today. How do I work remotely for a company in a different country? Countries are not up to date with this new way of working, and Oyster will solve that for you.
I have to say that I had a very short experience with Oyster and for the time it lasted was overall good. I did have some issues where Oyster did several important mistakes on payment of expenses, wrong taxation amounts (though they realized and fixed the issue themselves), and the employer also mentioned several problems with them. It's also frustrating that when you have an issue they either completely ignore the issue and don't reply or reply late. This is very annoying.
It solved a very real problem for me where I moved countries and couldn't be hired anymore by my current employer. With startups, especially and the tech world, this is widespread. Happy that Oyster allowed me to solve this quickly.
