What do you like best about Oyster HR?

Highly cost effective compared to the previous EOR / PEO we were using. Easy to navigate portal. Responsive customer support and implementation team.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

Oyster is a great product. I don't have any downsides currently.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having employees globally, without needing to incorporate as a business entity in that country. Oyster handles contracts/agreements, payroll and benefits for the employees.

"Easy way to employ people in other countries!"
What do you like best about Oyster HR?

Oyster is very easy to use. We had an employee move to another country, and we wanted to retain her as an employee without having to incorporate there. The sales and onboarding team there was very helpful and easy to work with, and made sure that I was clear on all aspects of the process. Given that we only have one person there, it is nice to have experts.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

I haven't encountered anything I dislike yet.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Incorporating in another country, especially for only one person, was cost prohibitive for us. Using Oyster allowed us to retain a high performing employee while also allowing them to live where they want to live.

"Great support to hire globally"
What do you like best about Oyster HR?

Oyster has been an invaluable platform for us, as this allows us to hire globally and stay compliant (over +100 employees hired). Great support around nuances on employment compliance and nice user experience. Personally, I like that our FP&A team can use feature around cost calculatoré estimation and we brought it into budget planning.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

From monthly routine Oyster set tight deadlines on submitting changes to employment contracts, therefore we had to change our internal processes how we do things/ approve things. On one side I understand the reasons behind, but a bit more flexibility would be appreciated.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

1) access to global workforce with right skill sets 2) cost savings as we dont need to establishe officies in countries

Oyster HRs are very responsive, and the dashboard is very friendly to use.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

None so far, i have nothing to say as of today 9/29/23.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are now in charge of filing my taxes and government contributions which will make the life of outsourced employees easy.

What do you like best about Oyster HR?

The customer support they have provided me during the contract was really awesome and at any cost we sould get the right information at the right time.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

I am not able to think anything as such at the moment honestly and this is not becasue I am trying to uplift them saying no negative things. Honestly, i dont have any dislike about their work.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oyser is able to provide a very good platform where it brings all the employee information and related things in one place which obviously helped to look details quick and made reliable

What do you like best about Oyster HR?

Having the ability to work legally was very important & Oyster's local partner Interloop was also well represented. The user interface worked well which helped with organization.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

The monthly fee is a bit pricey. If the price was a little more competitive, it would be less of a drain on company funds.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allowed my company who is based in the UK to legally hire me.

"Great tool that supports business growth"
What do you like best about Oyster HR?

Simple to use, transparent pricing, a lot of relevant and easily accessible information on the local markets, and friendly support. Before choosing Oyster we did review other options, but liked Oyster the most for all the reasons above.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

There is really nothing to dislike about Oyster, the only one thing that could be improved is the response time when support is needed, although if everything is done within their suggested notice period that is not an issue at all

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had our existing employees permanently moving to the countries where we don't have entities and Oyster had a solution for it that has served and supported us very well

"Oyster Fills a Need for My Small Business"
What do you like best about Oyster HR?

I only use contractors and Oyster provides an easy way for me to pay contractors both in country and around the world. I've used contractors from the USA, Canada, and Columbia, and it works for everyone. They manage the payments and create the tax forms necessary for year-end. The price for contractors is reasonable. Oyster is a good choice for a small business leveraging contractors.

What do you dislike about Oyster HR?

It's a bit difficult to reach someone for support by phone, and my contractors would prefer to receive pay quicker (takes about two weeks from invoice approval to their receipt of payment.

What problems is Oyster HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oyster takes care of payments and contractor setup (in and out of country) so I don't have to worry about any related regulations, and minimizes my responsibilities for tax and other compliance issues. My business benefits by being able to obtain the best help possible at competitive rates, reduces my risk, and allows me to focus on my business more.
