It's pretty straightforward on how to use, clean GUI, having everything in one spot to give feedback after interviews is nice.
I was part of an interview and I know the applicant was in the interviewee pool but when I tried to find the applicant, it would say applicant was not in the database. It should have just said I didn't have sufficient permission to review said applicant (I was not put in Workable as a valid reviewer).
Being able to review all the applicants in one spot, seeing resumes in one place, vs emails.
How the information is structured and accessible.
Sometimes it takes a while to load information on the page.
Recruitment processes and communication with candidates.
easy access and user friendly, satisfied
There's still room for improvement in terms of the features and the site appearance.
Finding the right candidate for the job/position.
The site is very easy to use and makes the recruiting and application process very smooth.
I don't really have any cons other than a few issues with design.
Workable allows our company to refer candidates for a role which is something we weren't able to do before.
How intuitive and easy to work with is, even if you haven't used it before
I'm missing some more scalability and customisation when the company is growing.
A streamlined hiring workflow (including job posting, communication - candidates and stakeholders -, offer, interview scheduling, etc)
As a hiring manager, it it super easy to see the status of all candidates, interact with our internal recruiter, and provide feedback along the way.
We've had some issues with time zones and embedding meeting links... I believe we stopped embedding meeting links in the calendar events to avoid that issue, and the time zone issue was resolved.
See above about the the problems. The benefits are that it is time saving and easy to use - notifications are super helpful!
How easy it is to adjust Workable to the company's needs and different steps, update the questions, rating, etc. Easy to move candidates.
Sometimes Workable doesn;t notify me of the interview outcome because I haven;t left my review, although my review is N/A
Interview processes and screening calls. Easy to update according to our needs.
All the steps clearly indentified and sharing of information among all involved.
Could not find how to switch off email notifications.
The slowness of contracting processes. Workable speeded think a lot.
Workable is a one-stop shop where everything we need to know about a candidate is available including resume, screening feedback, why he/she is interested in the company, and hiring team feedback.
I wish other reviewer feedback was hidden
Getting experienced professionals to join the organization who positively add to our organizational culture
The simplicity of the user interface and the easy at which I can see where my recruitment activity is at. Oh, and my recruitment managers find using workable very easy so adoption has been really strong.
Can't really think of anything material. We are new to workable (4 months) and have therefore still to really use data analytics but it's early days.
Speed of hire. connectivity to job boards, building a pipeline and speed of sifting out unsuitable candidates
I love how organized the job pipelines keep me and how I'm able to clearly see how my roles are doing on the Dashboard page.
I'm still trying to find the best way to keep track of disqualified candidates/sending rejection emails through Workable. Additionally, I need to look into the analytics/reports a little more.
Workable allows me to track the historical data of our roles as well as the progress/efforts of myself and our Recruiting Team as a whole. It also helps me communicate with candidates in a timely manner by providing time stamps for the steps throughout our process.
The ease of creating a posting a listing.
Very little to dislike. Some confusion when it comes to later stages of review process.
Communicating in professional way with potential applicants.
Storing resumes, comments on applicants and tagging them for future consideration
limitations on sharing/moving candidates ..archive process
storing resumes and candidates for future consideration, also having the background check linked is helfpul
Able to keep track of the candidates progress timely.
There's no automation of the emails being send out to applicants who are disqualified or automation in reaching out to potential applicant's based on their resume & our JD.
Tracking no. of candidates and total no. of applicant who went through the entire interview process and no. hire. Very systematic way to ensure that interview questions are asked accordingly.
I like that everyone in the interview process can see the process and also feedback. But also having the option to restrict some comments is helpful. I also enjoy the email templates which helps to make the hiring process very efficient.
Many of our hiring managers would like an additional evaluation option for maybe. I would appreciate the ability to have an "out of office" message that would go to candidate when turned on.
Workable is helping to streamline our hiring process and keep all involved parties informed.
1. It is connected to some external job boards that make us easier to post to more than 6 job boards with only one click. I 2. It is also connected to some social media users that make us easier to search candidates through various channel only by putting keywords in search menu 3. Database. my applicants database stored in one platform and I can tracked each person what positions he/she has applied.
1. The front end design can be improved to more interesting performance. The design is too rigid 2. The format of email sent to candidates is not flexible
1. Application pipeline database is now stored in a single platform 2. Applicants' CV from other job boards can be imported to workable using email link 3. Candidates search from various resources 4. Selection process can be started by adding questions in application form module 5. We can customized the qualifications and it become a qualification criteria.
Small learning curve, useful features. Helps me better organize the recruiting process
I would like smarter features, which can help me scale the recruiting process (smarter way to evaluate candidates, smart ways to group candidates and suggest good candidates from other positions)
Organizing the recruiting process, allowing online submission of applications
Workable makes it easy to create applicant pipelines, collaborate with co-workers, and communicate with candidates. It's been a breeze for our team to pick up and offers great customer support. It's also easy to create a simple job page for your business.
I like just about everything about Workable! I wish there were a few more options to create our careers page without having to use dev resources, but what is offered works well.
Workable is making it easy to track and communicate about our candidates. Workable helps us avoid "ghosting" on our candidates and helps us create a better candidate experience.
- General usability and intuitive usage - Ability to tag and search tags is helpful - The fact that emails are linked so that full interactions are logged is helpful
Suggestions rather than criticisms but: - When i've made a mistake and moved someone into a stage which I then want to delete so the colleagues don't wrongly assume they've moved further than they have - Would be great if you could rate good candidates or have a button/category for coming back to them if they were good but there was no role available at that time - Not sure of the "not interested or suitable stage" is a standard for workable or created by the account administrator from my company but it does not adequately distinguish between candidates who aren't interested, or when we reject a candidate
Business problems: - Not just useful as a platform for publishing job specs and receiving applications through one, visible-to-all avenue but has had the surpirse benefit of effectively standardising the hiring process. It is an effective logging tool, and works for re-targetting old candidates and providing key data (such as number of unsuccessful applicants) to prompt businesses to improve/adjust a job spec or be more realistic about the candidate they're looking for
From a code use case perspective workable gets the job done. It won't blow you away with features but provides a simple to use interface that allows for candidate tracking and evaluation.
As with almost any enterprise level software it can get a little bulky at times.
It allows us to track our candidates all in one place
