The flexibility of the system works really well for us as we are running a few different recruitment processes for different business areas,lso the ability to be able to instantly add new fields and to have the different page layouts is good for us
The standard search function doesn't work with our type of business unfortunately as we have had to add custom objects to be able to capture data in the way we need and therefore had to have a custom search function built for us which is substandard compared to the standard search offered in the package
For us we had a database but no applicant tracking system so now we can show true volumes of candidates coming through and track how long candidates were at each stage, how long job orders have taken to fill and have our operations report run from Jobscience as opposed to using Excel and Access.
Jobscience offers extensive options with regard to customizing the application, is intuitive to use, meets the vast majority of our needs, is built on the stable Salesforce platform and the support that comes with Jobscience is top notch. I've personally worked with three applicant tracking systems over the last 17 years and researched at least a dozen. None of the other systems even come close to the stability and power of Jobscience. Once I looked at Jobscience, the choice was clear.
One of the biggest benefits of Jobscience is the ability to customize everything. This also creates challenges. It's like going into a candy story with 1000's of options - it can be tough to make a decision and complicated to implement the decision you make. I recommend using a structured approach to implementation and giving yourself plenty of time. Before playing with the configuration options, decide what you want it to do including what's critical, what's desired and what you don't want. Create your workflow in advance. After you have all your ducks in a row, then tackle the configuration of Jobscience in a methodical way and don't be shy about using the online support - they are fabulous and critical to success.
We were using an outdated system that was inaccessible by iPads, iPhones and Android phones. Jobscience works on all of these platforms and more with ease. As a result of Jobscience, our process and workflow are much tighter. The data that goes into the system is way better, enabling me to pull out metrics on sales, recruiting and everything else you can imagine. The report builder is amazingly easy to use and helps me access the data I need.
We're an RPO provider in multiple countries and have been using Jobscience for a couple of years now for various clients. We've got approximately 15 separate instances of Jobscience for each of our clients in Australia, USA, UK, China, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand. The flexibility and customisation that Jobscience offers is amazing, and being based on a Salesforce platform always keeps our customers very happy with regards to their data safety and security.
The only difficulty is due to our own requirements. Because we have each client on a separate instance, if we make an adjustment or amendment on one instance, and want it on other clients, we need to make that same change multiple times.
The biggest benefit is the help it provides our sales team in selling our RPO solution into new clients. They are able to see how strong a system it is and how well it will manage their ATS requirements.
You can customize almost every feature to your particular needs and workflows.
The system is not idiot proof and requires some understanding of cloud-based data systems.

The only issue I had with the product was the search capabilities but Jobsicence came to the table with an amazing new upgrade.
With a quick glance I can see who is in our recruiting pipe. Reporting as never been easier for us. With the added benefit of the appexchange I can purchase add-ons to seamlessly generate new leads and automate once tedious tasks.
