It makes it easier to track your leads, send and receive emails, send and receive phone calls and get voicemail messages. you can also link it to your gmail account so you can track your leads in which ever way you choose.
sometimes leads has duplicates and it becomes very hard to manage. the phone number that I dial also automatically converts to my country's area code instead of that of the one I am trying to get a hold of.
Discovering bulk email option and sequence emailing made my job a bit easier.
Smart views are one of the most interesting options we have found, because you can define better thanks to that tool the public you want to send a specific product, you can better define which clients will adapt more to the advertising you want to send. Simplicity is another element that has influenced us to choose this CRM. Our sales teams have adapted very well to their operation, have understood well the operation and have been able to integrate all the data of customers, products and projects to manage them within the system. The use of electronic mail through Close is also quite easy and is well integrated for communication to be more fluid.
They should review the assignment of roles and permits, since sometimes they have given me problems when selecting them to grant permits to certain employees or teams. Sometimes I have had to change this section several times to make it work properly.
With Close we now have a much broader control of calls, we can analyze them, control the quality offered, review customer data ... All this gives us many details to improve our future attention. The platform has some very extensive reports, full of information that serves to better understand how your products are working, your team and sales in general. Some reports that provide such useful information are key for our company, because thanks to their analysis we are able to continue improving.
The easy to understand system with simple response technology.
Sporadic total system crashes. Poor connectivity issues with weak internet connections.
Sales problems. Contact with massive groups of customers. Large email threads along with super quick response time.
The template and layout are simple to use, but also have an in-depth library of custom filters to sort through leads.
The connectivity issues I come across at times, as well as the inability to turn off marketing emails for individuals instead of entire companies
Organizing and keeping track of a pipeline of sales
It allows our sales folks to customize how they organize their leads.
It occasionally struggles with downtime and disconnecting.
Our sales and customer support teams both use this in order to call our leads and contact our customers.
I've tried sales CRMs like BaseCRM, Salesforce, and Pipedrive, but we've enjoyed using Close.io by far the most. They bake best practices right into the tool, which is simple and powerful. We love the smart views, the mass emailing, and the in-app call tracking.
Still has some missing features -- like getting rid of duplicate contacts, scheduled mass emailing, deeper click tracking, a mobile app, and integrations with some other popular tools.
We need a tool to keep track of all of our sales leads and current sales campaigns.
easy to use and pretty simple navigation
sometimes when the auto dialer just jumps to the next call without time to write notes
close is a pretty easy crm and does everything I need
I admire its impressive efficiency with workflows and pipelines which is complemented by an extensive range of features that allow for ample customization.
I wish there were better ways to treat certain leads as top priority. Also would REALLY benefit from sales dashboards and coaching abilities on calls. We use Gong for coaching abilities.
Managing all of our leads, it's our main CRM system. We also like building out automations in it and integrating other apps like OnceHub and Zapier.
Easy to use and simple. If It's your first time using a CRM, it's perfect
Emails received don't always sync up with the platform so you can miss out on a reply from a prospect. Lots of "Calling this number is prohibited" on phone numbers that shouldn't.
Close IO is great at keeping my day organized. If you have lots of leads, it's very easy to assign tasks to both yourself and your team. It's also pretty simple to filter, so if you want to find a lead, you can do so without using a keyword as long as you remember some details. I also like that you can add notes on calls, and meetings.
The two things that I absolutely love about Close.io is it's excelleence to handle email with customer and provides holistic Reports of sales and agents follow up.
I'd like it if I could customize the inbox so that only leads that meet my defined criteria show up on my to-do list. Instead, it's managed by Close and what they consider to be an action item.
Solid template structure allows for customization options and variable fields
Email Integration and call inside the CRM
Reporting side which can be improve about the sequence sent
Close is helping our sales team to improve and manage everything under once crm
Easy to use, love the filter options and can call, text and email people from our lists.
Calls sometimes drop and lags a bit often.
Filtering lists and makes our life easier to find out who we need to contact.
The bulk email capabilities are powerful
Calls do seem to drop somewhat frequently
Bulk emails and building text templates and of course tracking customer interactions
Close allows me to keep everything in one place. Organization through notes, smart views to group certain people, and filtering. I love my email template and the bulk email feature. Their customer service team is also extremely fast to reply. Also excited that they finally got an app!
For some reason, I always get duplicates of my leads.. not a huge deal but kind of annoying. Small glitches like not being able to call back certain numbers - that are usually resolved just by closing and renetering the app.
Organization is the biggest lifesaver. It would be impossible to track everything through my email. I also love having a seprate work number that I can text directly through the app with.
Organisation, everything is laid out nicely.
The updates should be posted prior, give people a patch update.
Having all of my outbound communication in one area, allows you to be on top of your work much more and drive productivity. Keeping a record of every conversation.
I like that you can easily send SMS, emails and call from Close. I also like having the ability to send out a sequence via SMS,that's a great new feature.
When contacting customers from a smart view I hate that the order of the smart view jumps around; even if you click 'sort' and then select the date added, the minute you contact a customer, the list jumps around. It's so annoying! Sometimes I just want a simple list that I can sort into sections and colour code (we used to do this on Monday.com)
Close allows me to have a selection of smart views and I can mark customers as 'interested' or not interested. This helps so that I don't keep badgering the same customers if they do not want to be signed up to our website.
Close is dependable and easy to navigate. It is often updated and streamlined, making it a more useful tool for our organization. I have not dabbled in many competitor sites, but I enjoy Close and what it offers.
Honestly, the only thing about Close that could use be updated is the phone system. I sometimes have calls drop or phantom ringing on my account. But customer service is very quick to answer inquiries and address issues.
Close allows us to track calls, add notes and forms, send emails & texts, and keep track of deals both open and closed. It is an easy way to keep track of our pipelines.
The automations, connections to email sequences, text sequences etc. They seem to have a connection for almost any need you may have. I have used a few other CRMs that we always hit walls with options and features - close does it all
I am still learning how to organize some of the tasks vs opprotunities but that is getting easier. The main complaint I have is there doesn't seem to be a way to organize your tasks to a specific person - it is only to a company. I often have multiple contacts at a company and would prefer to keep those tasks separate
It keeps us organized in our inbound marketing and contact followups. With so many companies and leads we struggle to keep it all organized without something like close.
The UI is clean and easy to navigate. Easy to also build workflows with Zapier which is always useful.
The naming convention of custom fields when working with the API is not the best - not the most user-friendly. Reporting could also be better.
Keeping track of leads and their positon in the sales funnel.
Simple and intuitive. You can be set up and ready to go in minutes. It is easy to upload existing clients/prosepcts or to add ones manually. Integrated phone and SMS systems mean it has everything you need
There are some not so useful things in the sequence - for example, if a call takes longer than 30 seconds for someone to pick up, it automatically take them out of the sequence and you need to put them back in manually. Most calls take longer than 30 secs for someone to answer or to leave a VM. It is quite annoying but I think they are working on it.
Makes it easy to work. Everything you need in one system - phone, email, SMS. You can manage the pipeline, create opportunities with notes available, etc. You can set tasks for yourself or for others.
