Remote has very excellent customer service. Everytime I ask a few questions and concerns, they always provide helpful information. Very Friendly and informative! Keep it up!
One thing I dislike is the time waiting for the payout to reflect on my remote account. I hope we will receive a notification everytime the account have some progressive updates.
I was confused on how things work and they provide the exact information I need. They provide direct information and help us understand the process of the payout.
I have used an alternative provider for EOR and it has been a nightmare. In comparison, Remote has been really helpful through the set-up process. We are a small business so haven't got masses of EOR/contractors but things seem to be working well so far.
Filling in some of the EOR terms for their contract was a bit odd. Also, I wanted to add a contractor in Brazil but only found out afterwards that I couldn't pay them in Brazil Real

The design of the platform Is nice and everything is clear, no need to be an HR specialist to use it.
The support is only through tickets and is not real time, which can be a bit bothering when you need to deal with important matters such as payslips or taxes.

Their contract templates need to be more sophisticated than just plain test and mailmerge. For example, I should be able to set up my own contracts with my own mailmerge fields.

We're saving money using Remote! We used to pay employees extra to cover European state healthcare contributions. Remote handles all contributions/taxes, including healthcare, and it's resulted in money-saving for us. There are improvements for the employee as well, as they no longer need to register as their own entity, pay entity government contributions, etc.
The onboarding process took several weeks, specifically Remote's KYB process which was required before we could link our bank account and pay people. I didn't know that this was a blocker until I tried linking the bank account to pay our employees for the month, unsuccessfully. When I reached out to Support, I found it was because of the KYB...it would be helpful to make the KYB a mandatory / more prominent part of the sign-up process.
Remote has made the process of paying international employees and international contractors so much easier! We used to have to manually wire payments every month, which was an administrative burden as well as costly in wire transfer fees. With Remote, payments are automatically debited from our bank account. Our contractors have given feedback that Remote's automatic invoice-generating process is easy to use and saves them the time of having to write up and email invoices. There are so many helpful resources everywhere so you know what the best practices in each country are, and how to stay compliant!
