Trello Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice
As one of the pioneering Kanban web-based project management platforms, more than 2 million teams are now using Trello worldwide since its launch in 2011. Trello is best known for its simple visual interface, with cards that can be moved across different columns. Each card holds all the information teams and assignees need to deliver on projects and execute tasks efficiently. Over the years, Trello has introduced robust improvements to its systems, which include a proprietary built-in and no-code automation feature called Butler. There are also add-ons called Power-Ups that allow teams to link your most-used productivity and business tools with Trello plugins.

I like the visual set out of Trello with clear Lists and Cards for assigning to various tasks. The use of coloured lables and members is great and allows the team to see quickly what jobs are assigned to various people and why.
The main issue I have will Trello is not being able to add a new team member to all our boards in once go. It is easy to remove someone from all boards if a member of staff leaves, but not so simple to add a new team member to all boards. At the moment I'm having to add someone to each board individually.
Trello allows us as a team to see clearly what jobs are pending and omcpleted. It allows us to track various tasks and assign particular jobs to particular team members easily.
This tool provides tasks with detailed information such as deadlines and responsible parties, and allows you to view crossed-off tasks so you can go back and make sure everything was covered.
Notifications can sometimes be confusing. It is difficult to find some old tasks in the search bar. It may be too basic for some IT needs, and teams without a PM may find it overwhelming because it is so configurable.
This is the right tool for project management between different business teams/silos. We use it to schedule tasks, conduct guest reviews with our users, and complete projects.
Very simple and flexible, I can make Trello work around my Kanban-style workflows instead of the other way around
At least for the free version, the automation is limited. But this is understandably a freemium model
Trello keeps track of my to-dos: I use it strictly as a TODO list.
The thing that I like the best about Trello is how easy and organized it is for someone to do something very visually appealing. I’ve used it not only for Business and Digital Marketing but also to plan and organize my wedding visually. Great for Workflow and team management
I really can’t say there’s much that I dislike about Trello. I don’t have any complaints yet so I don’t have anything for this section. Even the style designs and ability to customize is fantastic
I am solving many problems with Trello in the fact that it helps me visually communicate with my digital marketing team and clients and keeps us all organized and visually stimulated
I found Trello to be most useful for people who run SME's with smaller teams. I use it mostly to run my web agency where all devs are outsourced.
How it handles Attachements. I believe every checklist item should be able to have its own attachement. In web we get a lot of feedback about services we development, and writing feeback with attachements and references in 1 box is annoying to handle.
Having my team tasks and deadlines in check on a daily basis. We can also some card as reminders for maintenance updates and related items.
- The many many many plugins - Clean visualizations and classifications of cards with tags, colored cards, and stars - Swimlanes for multi-member board use breakdown - Todo list capable with templates per card - Markdown usage!
- I wish it could show how many days since a card was created on the card front (a check to see if certain cards are being delt with over time). Card "aging" feature doesn't quite get the job done.
- Allows several of us to work out a project's tasks and push them through a pipeline. - Comunicate and notify other team members directly from any card. - Allows us to push client/customer actions through a pipeline. - Allows granular templated todo lists to be attached to items within a pipeline. Checklists are your friend! - Ability to hyperlink to just about anywhere from a card.
Trello is a very useful project management product and has really helped us revolutionize the way we perform our tasks and projects. Its intuitive and simply designed user interface makes it an easy to use tool which anyone can use effectively. It allows us to centralize all our projects resources including teams and tools into a single point making it possible to have a unified view of the entire project. This makes it super easy to monitor the performance of the projects by tracking the progress activities and tasks. It helps us stay focused on the the things we are supposed to do and give information on even the things we have already finished. It was easy to set it up and its easy customization made it possible for us to build specific workflows which perfectly matched with what we were looking for. Trello offer high quality meetings for team communication and this ensures that information is shared easily and quickly among the teammates. It was also easy to integrate it with other products that we were already using like Miro and others.
For me, there is nothing to dislike about Trello. Everything about Trello is very efficient. From ease of use to availability and quality of features. Am having the easiest and smootest experience using Trello and i have nothing to complain about it.
Trello helps us to achieve better results and outcomes from our projects by allowing us to manage our projects effectively. It helps us to work collaboratively and as a team during projects and this helps bring together our individual creativity and come up with the best results. Trello has seen us achieve better results in ensuring that we stay focused on the real work and that all the projects are completed within the given timelines.
It's fast. The loading speed Trello possess is one-of-a-kind. Really never used any tool faster than this.
Nothing, really. Maybe promote the product outside just a regular tool for developers because it's more than that.
I used Trello for Shopify's app developer, Taply and we handle bugs, issues, beta versions and requests using Trello
Easy to use easy to train easy to rearrange. Customizable but in the long run the plain vanilla version worked great
Free version no security anybody can do anything
Capture thoughts that need to turn into actions and sort them into useful collections
We started using this for project tasks tracking purpose. User friendly interface. It allows to track task with its due date, when it is completed task can be marked as completed by clicking on checkbox. Different tasks can be created to track list of different activities - birthday of your team members, planned leaves, project followups... etc
thers is nothing which i can dislike about trello.
To track tasks for different projects To track holidays and vacations of teams members across location to track birthday of team members to track followups and due dates of tasks
Trello is an effective and fleaxible platform that allow me to manage my tasks and collaborate with my colleagues to keep things on track. It keep tasks organized and improve team's work performance.
Trello is a professional platform and everything runs so smoothly.
Trello improves communjcation between me and my colleagues. We can work on same project and task without getting confused. It is must have tool for better work management.
Best for managing task easily. It enables to easily identify task and to allocate task to your colleagues. It is timely and efficient for the business to run smoothly.
None so far. Since Trello has been helpful not only to me as well as to my boss and other colleagues who are trello users as well. They are happy using this application or product.
It can easily track task or work accurately. We can easily monitor task in Trello and is a time saver for me to manage work effectively. So this best fits with our team.
O formato kaban dele, ajuda muito a organizar e deixar visual.
acredito que deveria ter mais automações, mas gosto muito.
Ajuda na organização do projeto de lançamentos digitais.
Trello is amazing. It has been the best tool to keep me and my coworkers organized with the many tasks that we do everyday. It is very customizable which allows any business to cater it to their own goals.
In all honesty I cannot think of anything I dislike about Trello. It has been a life saver and everything I could possibly need is available to me through Trello.
Trello makes it easy to delegate different tasks to people and make our goals clear and organized. It allows us to work on our tasks faster and more efficiently.
The Trello tool is great for teams that need to share documents and keep track of how the organization progresses. It allows you to organize the information into lists and boards so that you can see tasks without getting overwhelmed.
This is best for small teams if you're looking for a team of 10 or more this may not be good one.
Trello is great for keeping tabs on different projects. It's helped me loads with team communication and sharing files. There are a lot of boards though, so it can be difficult to find the one you want.
Great user interface and experience, it is very simple to use and the design is very pretty, this is important to make anyone engaged on updating the cards and keep all the useful information on the board, as soon your team created the habit of using it well and feel good to move the cards It will become very easy to manage and keep updated of what is going on. There is also very useful automations and integrations but you have to pay for some of them, but nothing too expensive. Overall is a great solution not just for a software development team, could be useful to manage the backlog of all departments and different kinds of projects. It is very nice that people can comment and tag others in comment so the information and communications are simple and concentrated in the same tool.
It lacks productivity metrics, there is paid third parties apps that could solve this for you but inside Trello you don't have enough visibility to check the productivity and be predictive of how much work your team could delivery in a certain amount of time.
Keep everyone updated of what is going on giving a visual and clear management with a simple interface. Manage the backlog and what to do next.
Trello is easy-to-use user interface. It helps me track productivity dashboard in birdseye view of all things that are going in the team without hassle to go through.
Its sad that its not designed for a full-scaled management. It is great for simple projects and workflows. Trello may add more features to make it accessible for full-scaled managements.
Trello makes our life easy in collaborating with our team to our assigned projects and saving too much time by tracking our progress that we are working on. Yes it helped a lot with our business
Easy to use, good visual layout, sharing board with other stakeholders
Nothing really, I love the system and use it often
I use it for recruitment purposes for example, we keep all details from various candidates and what stage they are moving through in the process, being able to easily organise and visualise the process as much as sharing information with other managers
I've introduced Trello to several teams. Its easy-to-learn interface has meant adoption has been easy and teams have quickly used it to manage project and sprint workflows.
Trello has its limitations - projects can become too complicated or large for Trello, and sometimes you need to capture more information per task (or card).
Managing multiple tasks across workstream/time frames, for example, sprints.
What I like a lot about Trello is that it is really easy to use. Performance is optimal, and the huge amount of free features that it provides make this application an awesome project manager. I used it both for personal and professional projects and it always helped me organise my tasks in a very intuitive and easy way.
There is only one thing I miss, but it is quite specific and there is for sure a reason why this feature is not there. When talking about automation and rules, I would like to have as action the possibility to change the Cover of an added card. However, as I say, it is a very small and specific detail.
I like to have my tasks in a single place and in a very organised way. And with tasks I mean personal stuff, work-related tasks, etcetera. With Trello, every time I have something in my head that I am afraid to forget, I create a new task so I can easily review it later. Trello has basically been a solution for my day-to-day duties for the last years.
An easy way to oranize tasks, very easy to set proyects
More visual configurations, more kind of alerts
more control over the tasks and the completed tasks, a full picture of different clients and the process
You can organize the boards, add people, create workspaces for each project, is really easy to use.
It would be fine to integrate with calendar apps such as google calendar
the organization of the activities and the main responsible for this activity
I love how it keeps you on track, focused, and organized! It has a calender feature and just all the features that would help get through the day.
There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about Trello.
It solves all my problems, from task management to project management, to social media planning!
1. It's very easy to customize and categorise lists for new projects/task categories 2. The UI is very simplistic. It's really easy to learn how to use it and create different boards and workspaces 3. It also works very well to keep notes and passwords
I think apart from writing comments under each card, there should also be different sections where you can add private notes, ideas, etc. Compared to Excel, I think it kinda limits you ability to note down your brainstorms
I use Trello to keep track of my tasks as part of my architecture firm. It's a handy little tool for recording your activities regarding each task. Being able to organize my tasks in a board format has helped me stick to my priorities better and note down information that I would've probably forgotten otherwise. I think it provides a very effective medium for idea/task management
Trelli has the best onboarding experience and a very simple user interface.
It's a little too simple at times. Trello needs to add more features
We used Trello to help us keep track of features and tasks while developing a mining software.
Trello is now a fundamental app for the shared management of social networks
it has no negative points for me. It's perfect.
exchange ideas with customers and with the team in one place
The number of templates for various categories, advanced automation feature, and easy task tracking
Trello is a great tool with nothing to dislik
Trello helps us in handling the tasks for small teams with not much bug tracking required. It absolutely helps us in tracking the work and deadlines.
I like the simplicity of Trello - u can assign tasks to specific people, set deadlines and sort all your cards by priority and status. You can attach files to the cards. There's also the possibility of automation with Butler.
If you run several projects then they are split into different boards and sometimes it is hard to get a clear overview.
It helps with organization and communication in our team- everyone knows exactly what they have to do and when it should be done.
What I like most about Trello is that is very simple to use and learn, you don't need to take any courses to start working with this tool, this makes introducing the tool to my teams a very easy task.
What I dislike most about Trello is that you can´t declare task dependencies between them and is a key feature and need for my organizations and teammates during the task assignment process.
Trello helps my organization during the task assignment process. It gives us visibility over our backlog and pending work, without it we wouldn't be able to handle the workload effectively.
