Content Analyzer gives SEOs the opportunity to save enormous amounts of time by aggregating all related topics being discussed by competitors, giving you a blueprint of what to needs to be written to be competitive.
Tool takes a significant amount of time to run, would be better in batches.
MM helps us create content that is more in-depth, and competitive from both an SEO and user standpoint.
How easy MarketMuse makes researching SEO strategies and optimizing new and existing content
Load times can be slow or time out occasionally
MarketMuse has been a game changer for our content strategy and SEO. By knowing how to fully cover topics to build topical authority it makes building and executing on a strategy easy.
Marketmuse is an easy to use SEO strategy in a box. It makes it foolproof to own/compete for specific keywords and ideas.
Not much to share here really. I guess it could be a bit cleaner and they could provide additional features to automate some of the work.
We're increasing our leads and revenue with MarketMuse. Since using Marketmuse (almost 1 year) we've ranked for over 100 more key search terms and currently have the first Google search rank for 15 of our most important keywords.
As a small startup, developing content seemed to be one of the biggest hurdles standing in my way. After exploring options available, I found that MarketMuse offered the most comprehensive approach, and the smartest tool on the market for creating quality content. I am blown away by the tools they have developed to help me create highly competitive articles around the topics that support my business.
There is nothing to dislike about this company. If the product were free, it would be a perfect world, but I understand that is impossible and would prevent me from engaging with the highly talented team that supports my daily needs.
I am a small startup building a web application for a B2C solution. I needed to begin a content strategy to build authority on related topics over time, without guessing. MarketMuse helps me to employ their tools while creating high-performing articles. In a short period of time, I can see my articles on the 1st page of Google's search engine results page! That means that I can save $$ on ads, and rely more heavily on organic visitors to my website. As I build my company, I also want to emulate the culture that is present at MarketMuse. Each team member that I have interacted with has completely focused on my needs and offered creative ideas to help me grow. It's not just an innovative tool that I have received, but a partnership that helps beyond my obvious needs of developing quality content.
MarketMuse is the most comprehensive data source for content suggestions and subheadings. Instead of using 3 tools and cobbling things together, it's all in one place here.
There's still some manual work to take data and create actual content outlines, but that's improving with each release.
The SEO game is always changing. "Deep content" is powerful right now, and MarketMuse is the tool I've used to take websites with so-so rankings to the top. It has revolutionized our ability to compete for organic traffic in 2018.
MarketMuse helps us to know where our content has gaps and how to write better articles that our audience and Google both will love.
I wouldn't say I dislike anything, but the one struggle is the software is just so comprehensive and powerful it's hard to fully make use of it without a little training. But it is so so so worth it to get fully up to speed on all of the features. You don't want to miss any of these.
We use it for keyword research, or what we use to call keyword research. Now we identify content opportunities, get briefs for our writers, and then incorporate all of the suggestions to make our articles exhaustively complete.
We have written (and revised) better content than ever before due to guidance from MarketMuse. We are using MarketMuse to not only guide content we intend to write, but also to go back and revise content for better SEO.
Would be good to have a keyword research tool integrated in so that you can create new AdWords campaigns based on research.
MarketMuse is helping us rank better in search results against competitors vying for similar terms.
Writing a brief for a writer sometimes feels like it's easier to simply go ahead and write the darn post myself. With Market Muse I not only give my writer what to write about, I also know that what I'm asking her to do is going to guarantee I go head-to-head with my competitors. I no longer have to guess or "put myself in my readers' shoes" to know what to write about.
I would love for the price to come down a bit as we're a small company with lots of other marketing expenses.
Being able to find the right topics, backed by actual AI-driven research.
I appreciate both the insights they've provided over the years as well as the rapid development and product improvement cycle they've displayed.
Sometimes a little slower than I'd like but when you're running AI/machine learning I understand it can take a bit. Not a huge negative for me.
MarketMuse helps me better understand how to create the most relevant content on a particular topic, better answering search intent while providing the kind of content search engines will rank.
The Optimize category is fantastic for making sure your content is properly optimized for SEO
The interface is not very intuitive. To optimize and research topics for a single article, you end up jumping around from tool to tool in a way that feels like the UI could be improved upon. The content scores and topic research can crash or take a while to load.
Helping me find topics for and ideas for content
I love that I get direct insights on keyword research, personal difficulty, topic clusters, and so much more. It's a great tool to build out our existing SEO content strategy. It's been pretty easy to pick up, and the onboarding has been amazing. Implementing MM has been a game changer for our SEO.
There aren't many reporting/insight metrics, but they said that's on the radar.
We had reached a point in our SEO strategy where we weren't sure where to go. I found MM at a conference and it's been helpful in getting us out of this content rut and directing us toward greater Google rankings.
I enjoy scoping out the competition to see what they've done and why it works, alongside the valuable search data that comes back after optimising a page with Market Muse.
I would love to upgrade and be able to plan a content strategy, although the pricing is really focused on enterprise-style companies. This is not a dislike, just a reality.
Clients approach me to develop content for them that will perform well on search engines. Market Muse has never failed to deliver top-notch results in this regard.
What makes MarketMuse the most helpful is it provides the different aspects of the research for you.
The only thing I don't like is it's a little slow sometimes
MarketMuse solves the problem of efficiency for me. It's all my SEO research in one place.
Generous allowances on the free plan are great. The tool does a fine job putting together what you need to write a compelling post to rank on Google. Instructions are clear.
I have run diagnostics for my personal site (not for work) and found some of the insights confusing. I would also love the ability to delete/ignore certain words it serves as allegedly required for ranking on Google. No, MarketMuse, the "all rights reserved" is not a phrase I need to rank on. I could also use some guidance on what to put into headings.
It helps to uncover subtopics that I may not have thought of when first writing a post. This lends more depth and breadth to research and can help reveal hidden insights.
Optimize section is supposed to be the bit I should like best, but no. I appreciate the 'compete' section more because it tells me a lot.
There is no delete button to remove the saved writings, why? Delete is perhaps a vital button on every tool, and application - how can you miss it?
MarketMuse solves my problem of optimisation. I am at peace knowing that my content is being compared against the top valid searches and I have the way forward to curate my writeup in a way that it benefits the readers.
MarketMuse simplifies keyword research. I use the "optimize" feature most frequently. It shows me the average score for my seed keyword as well as a target score to optimize my content.
The biggest downside I've experienced so far is the limited number of queries I receive each month with upgrading my plan. I also think the saved writing feature gets glitchy when I don't complete a project in a single sitting.
MarketMuse takes the guesswork out of keyword research and content optimization. The optimization feature makes me more productive by increasing the speed with which I can improve my content.
allows you to prepare content briefs easily and can generate smart suggestions for internal linking
it alienates itself from fellow SEOs because the pricing is designed for enterprises
it helps me create better content briefs that I could submit to writers. better content briefs in this case means a guide that would ensure SEO success.
Marketmuse makes it super easy to optimize my upcoming and existing blog posts for the keyword of choice. I use it more for refreshing content than anything else and find it very easy to use and impactful.
I find MarketMuse's planning tool a little bit less useful than their optimization. It's a little bit harder to get the hang of, get started with and get a lot of value out of.
It helps me make sure my blog content is optimized in lightweight and easy ways, and makes sure that I get the most value out of the work I put into creating/publishing/refreshing blog posts.
I like that it gives you ideas about the content you may be missing. It will also show you if you are overusing a word. You get more than enough credits to meet most writers' needs.
A lot of the applications are repetitive. You can get away with using the Optimize feature for most of what you need. Each application requires a credit but doesn't provide unique information.
It's helping craft an article that answers all of my reader's questions, by providing additional topics that may not have been covered.
The content score will tell you where exactly your content stands. The research column with keywords further helps me optimize the content. Overall, this tool will help you a lot while optimizing the content.
The draft system needs to be clear once I feed in the brief. Also, compared with the other tools that I have been using, there are fewer options of heading optimization in this tool.
The content optimization and content planning have helped me optimize loads of stuff. I have been doing optimization much faster than usual.
