As a campaign manager GA features are a must for me to understand the efficacy of all the digital marketing efforts. Its nor just essential, but vital
They could have done better with GA4 since the UI below the standards kept by Universal analytics
Understanding the user behavior, attribution and goals and events tracking is vital to measure website performance
To be honest, everything is best about Google Analytics. This is our go-to tool to use in all of our digital marketing efforts. The data it gives to us is like a goldmine which is of utmost important for every marketer. It shows us, website visitors info, their sessions, durations, exit pages, conversions, and so on. Easy implementation and integrates with other platfforms as well
There's nothing to dislike about Google Analytics and their new version of GA4 is brilliant.
In the era of digital marketing, it's crucial to know who the website visitors are. And that's where Google Analytics comes helping us know about our customers, their journey throughout the website, conversions, how they are interacting with the pages, and which pages are the best performing. This tool is helping us in all of these as well as sharing the performance report to the clients.
It is free and easy to install. It is widely used so many people know how to use it.
Not completely GDPR compliant. Although it is backed up by Google, it is not ready for GDPR compliance
It is telling me how many people visit my websites and what pages are they mostly looking.
Real Time Analytics Goals Behavior Search Analytics
Delay in reporting, should be real time changes in all sections
It helped me a lot to understand how my customers interact on my website.
- Visually appealing and comprehensive report - KPI like (website/app traffic, user behavior, conversions, etc.) - Customized reports with GA4 - Integration with third-party software
- I didn't find any thing as such as per my usage
Google Analytics helps in comprehending how users interact with a website or app. It tracks user actions, including page views, session duration, bounce rates, and conversion paths. This data aids in optimizing user experience and content to better cater to audience preferences. It provides detailed insights into website performance, such as traffic sources, audience demographics, and device usage. This information helps us understand the most effective marketing channels and where to focus our efforts.
Great ability to analyze behavior of different visitor segments. Great ability to connect to the data using other analytical tools (such as Microsoft Power BI) to build your own dashboards outside of GA using the GA data.
GA4 really lacks in some of the basic report views compared to the old Universal Analytics. For example, when you change the date range of a view, the line graph in GA4 defaults to daily and has no way to change to monthly or quarterly. This makes the basic reporting in the GA4 interface pretty poor. This means it's harder for beginners as you'll need to layer another reporting tool on top of the GA data to get even the simplest reports.
Understand visitor behavior and make design decisions based on data.
Informative. We use it for our clients, we use it almost everyday
The GA4 is a bit confusing to use.......
We use it looking at data trend for our new accounts. We also use it for existing clients looking at traffic, pageviews etc.
It is highly customizable, offering a great deal of flexibility, and it also provides very comprehensive data analysis.
Real-time data limitation and limited historical data are my 2 dislikes.
It is helping us track our website traffic and user behavior, as well as aiding us in assessing our marketing effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
I like how Google is alwasy imporving analytics. Adding new features and give marketers more room to analyse their data
There no downsides. I beleive it's the strongest, if not the only analytics platform in the market.
Analyising data to make data-driven descisions on what is working or not working for the business
Deep datapoints, easy to use, and implement. Gives you stronger understanding of everything happening with your website, and you can convert this insight into actionable items and make improvements.
Nothing really, I'm really satisfied with the tool. Sometimes I see inconsistencies b/w traffic sources, sometimes it just says "undefined".
Better understanding of customer behaviour.
Being able to see where the most active website visitors and customers come from with google analytics has been amazing. It allows me to zero in and focus on the most valuable and profitable traffic sources to increase profits. I like also beng able to see which page people spend the most or least amount of time on, this informs all of my web development and design choices on the website .
Google analytics takes some time to process e-commerce data accurately. it requires patience.
It allows me to track conversion data and user/customer acquition for my online store. This allows me to focus on the most profiatble traffic source and increase revenue
We currently don’t use it anymore because we switched to an agency who handled all of our analytics, but we did find GA to be very helpful in determining best ways to make changes to our website in order to increase ROI
I’m going to be honest and say GA can be confusing!!!!! There are literally so many options a person can go insane! With that said though if you are able to learn and not be afraid of clicking on new features there is a lot to gain and learn by exploring all the features.
We were using this to solve the problem of tracking our users that visit the website.
Provides clear information about the website page traffic User segmentation wise performance
Takes more time to load data UI could have been better for easier understanding
Helps in websote traffic tracking User quality wise analysis
Detailed source medium report, interface, easy goals tracking, easy to use once you know the terminologies. Best for digital marketing activties be it paid or organic.
Nothing specific. It really caters to marketing needs
It really helps me know how much traffic is coming from campaigns and from which channels. This really helps in making decisions.
- Integration with websites to track user behaviour - very good documentation available for integration - Dashboard provides good idea of top seller, top visited pages - Easy to plan customer conversion and marketing techniques
I don't have any dislikes about Google Analytics
tracking user hebaviour and shopping patterns.
Google Analytics shows real-time user data like user behavior, user location, how much time a user spent on a page, and their device(mobile or desktop). It also stores the analytics information like in total how many users have visited my site in a specific time period. It also stores information like from where the user visited my site (e.g. Organic or Social); I can also know, how much of my traffic came organically and how much from other sources.
There are too many configuration options available for Google Analytics and I could not find any documentation by Google for beginners hence it might be a little complicated for beginners although they have a pretty great support team who provide support through live chat, email, and phone support and they can help with the configurations
Google Analytics provides free analytics and it is very beneficial for students and small businesses without having to spend money for analytics. Google Analytics helps me in managing my business and analyzing my content by utilizing features like Knowing the behavior, and demographics(like location), and Views help me in knowing which content of mine is working well in which part of the world. Using Google Analytics now I know which pages have high bounce rates, and low engagement time, hence I can optimize my content accordingly.
Google Analytics is invaluable in the sheer amount of data it collects and the reporting you can pull.
I did have some issues figuring it out at the beginning, but overall, the UX is great and simple enough to navigate.
Google Analytics connects all our platforms and pulls all the data so we can analyze the numbers in a central spot.
The ability to discern where our online traffic is coming from and to where on our website
The new GA4 is incredibly hard to use and very different to the previous iteration
Understanding where our trafffic is coming from and how people are using our website, which enables us to adjust the online experience for our customers to better service them.
Google Analytics' recent update to GA4 is now pulling data at a more granual and active level. Instead of just seeing viewer I can see the active time readers are reviewing our articles. I love it!
Currently, GA4 cannot pull data for our multiple products at the same time. I have to pull the data for each of our 9 products separately which is more time consuming.
We need to see what type of response we are receiving to the articles we publish on our 9 different digital magazines. We reference specific Clients in all of our articles and our Clients are interested in the data as well. How popular are our articles and how is the response to our stories?
it is very user friendly, easy to use and intuitive.
depending on how big your data source is, it takes a while for data to load.
give insights to campaigns, products and customers.
