GA4 really lacks in some of the basic report views compared to the old Universal Analytics. For example, when you change the date range of a view, the line graph in GA4 defaults to daily and has no way to change to monthly or quarterly. This makes the basic reporting in the GA4 interface pretty poor. This means it's harder for beginners as you'll need to layer another reporting tool on top of the GA data to get even the simplest reports.

The best thing about GA is that you can clearly see how your marketing's performing and where you're traffic's coming from. But don't stop there.
