Slack is the top choice for teams to communicate. It provides a virtual workspace that helps teams maintain open communication in a business environment. With Slack, users can host voice and video calls with up to 15 participants and even screen share with a desktop app, empowering better user interaction. Slack also supports options for private and group sessions, and one of its best features is Slack Huddles–an informal meeting space that lets you directly talk to your channel where you can share screen side by side with your team. The platform integrates well with Dropbox, Google Drive, and Trello as well.

I love it because you can create several work areas with different projects. Excellent for work team conferences, and its interface is dynamic and very understandable.
I would like the free version to last longer
I can solve the projects and goals of my company together with my work team in one place
Slack..! It is one of the best tools for group and individual conversations. Also, we can create channels easily for every team. There are a lot of options available in Slack. Like, activity reminders, birthday reminders, etc. If a company uses Slack, all employers need to be active during working hours. So, we can easily connect the people and discuss if we have any queries. Also, audio message recordings, video calls, screen sharing all are available. If any new employee joins, we can search them easily in slack with their name or contact number. I have been using Slack since 1 year.
The main thing I don't like in Slack is NOTIFICATIONS. In our daily routine, we used to get a lot of messages from a lot of groups. I used to clear all the unread chats before starting the day or ending. Even when I read all the news, messages, and conversations again, it shows a notification saying I have unread mentions. Also, whenever we are facing issues in slack, the customer support team takes time to respond, but in the end, our solutions will clear.
There are a lot of benefits to using Slack. We can quickly communicate with our team members. We will use slack every day for our communications, file sharing, and reports—generally, not much more problems in Slack. Whenever we get any issues with Slack, we have an Internal Sales supportive team. They will help us to resolve the issues.
It has a sound notification system that works even if the application is closed. It has very cool features like huddle, voice chats and video chats. It is also lightweight and launches very fast. It also has a good mobile application
There are instances where if I connect my headset, people I'm in a huddle with cannot hear me speak.
We can easily collaborate with teammates who are not in our country, and we can easily share information across the entire orgazization. We can present our screen in huddles to elaborate our points
I have used slack a lot; I really like its simplicity and the way it provides a professional environment for team discussions and all. We can add different workspaces all in one place. It does not limit adding members, so we can also use it for community-building tools. Our team likes to work on slack as it is easy to distinguish between the personal life and professional instead of traditional WhatsApp groups where we have all kinds of group even personal as well. The best thing about slack is that we can use it on almost all devices, so we can reply to all the important work related message just from our mobile phone. There's also an option to join the public channels either a community or some learing groups you can join there. We also have a feature of slack bot which is reallly helpful in managing large communities and workspaces.
The only thing It lacks is awareness. Most people don't know about slack, and they find it challenging to use it initially. And it's hard to set up bots in channels. But these are not some significant concerns. I think these things will become accessible in the future as more and more people will adapt it.
It solved the central problem of email. Earlier, we had to email every member to get the details of the work they were doing. For every small discussion, we have to send the mails, but now as we have such workspaces, we can discuss everything on just one platform, which makes it even more corporate-friendly and time-saving application.
I think how fun and conversational Slack has made work communication is what I appreciate the most about the product. It doesn't feel like working, but more like chatting with a bunch of friends. This isn't easy to accomplish, especially considering the seriousness and depth of discussion.
Sometimes Slack can be too busy. I wish there were more tools to better organize and follow complex and evolving discussions across an organization. It would also be cool if there was a way to see who is chipping in on what conversations. That's a serious gap in the product.
As a 100% remote company, we're building the future of work in that we're pioneering new ways of getting work done while not being together in person. Slack is our core tool to experiment, communicate, and grow as a team.
Even only because Slack is available everywhere, by phone, on the web, and if you do not have the app anywhere, it does not matter, because it works great through the browser and you can just log in to your Google account. Page without unnecessary problems and very fast. All these make Slack the greatest tool that is usable everywhere
Most of the previous messages and files you can not find and retrieve if you do not activate the paid version. This is a bit of a no-brainer as you only need a little bit and you will definitely give up rather than activate it for the sake of that one file. However, this is not terrible.
I discovered Slack during the Startup Boos Weekend three-month startup training program, and there we used a team of more than 150 people to keep in touch with different teams and mentors, share seminar recordings and other files, and record results. It was perfect for such a big team collaboration and I loved it. Later, when we started the startup team, it was great again for both the communications, the task setting, the project management, and the overall online worksheet.
Slack makes it easy to keep in touch with team members, especially when working remotely. It has great instant messaging capabilities and is a great tool to keep team members up to date on the latest developments going on with the team or with particular projects.
Slack is good for keeping in touch on projects and providing quick updates, but it's not the most effective communication tool for doing collaborative work and conducting meetings.
Slack helps team members to quickly communicate ideas with one another and to provide feedback on particular topics and projects. It's easy to share links with each other as well as to share urgent information and updates.
Slack Channels provides us the opportunity to organize our discussions around specific projects and subject matters. This makes discussions on Channels directed towards a common goal, thus ensuring that communication is organized.
Have had an overly satisfactory experience with Slack. This is one of the few software tools I have zero reservations about.
Slack helps my company, organize internal communication across departments and teams. Some of the important benefits of Slack includes fast communication between members of my organizations workforce , and of course increased collaboration across project and departmental lines.

Messaging and Communication
I love that with Slack you can talk to individuals, small groups or your entire company. I love that you can also alert the person or group using @name or @here
Love everything about Slack, If I had to pick something - I would like easier use of incorporating GIFs and emojis
I love connecting in real-time with colleagues, as well as vendors. Slack is great for that quick "water cooler" question that would usually happen in-person in the office. Our team feels so much more connected through Slack since we are now a fully remote company.
The channels! Works perfectly with Google mail and Monday.com
Nothing specifically. Looks great overall
Communication! Document sharing is faster and better with Slack.
Slack is an excellent way to stay in touch with your team and have conversations in one place. It is a very clean interface, and the desktop app is very nice. I love the ability to drag and drop stuff into new channels and the how the conversations are threaded. It is a great tool for organizing your thoughts and keeping everything in one place.
I tried slack at a conference, I tried a few different rooms and enjoyed it but all-over its a great tool except the slack is really complex in UX design also sometimes it stuck in for example i create a channel for testing but it always show 4 messages no matter it has messages or not.
I’ve been using Slack at work for the past few weeks and I can say that it’s another free tool that’s going to save me hours or even days of time. With Slack, I can message my co-workers, have group conversations, and even have video calls. I’m able to talk to my team right away and not have to wait to message them. I also love that Slack has integrations with popular services like Google Drive, which means I can share files with my team directly from my Drive account.
EVERYTHING! Slack is the best instant messenger I have ever seen. It is fun and efficient.
Nothing!! I totally love Slack, and I can think of something I don't like about it.
I can speak with my colleagues around the world so much faster, send files, etc
Slack in user friendly interface and user testing more powerful. and in best channel create , personal and private message forward more helpful, and most useful tag people and send invite.. Slack in send all extension file so most useful.. My Best Business messaging software is Slack... Thank you
I think no dislike regarding software, chats, team and slack is paid plan so more people not purchase and Lags while sharing screen
Business company in Problem Team discussion, Real time Call and Live to people and file sharing, screen share.
I like that I am able to quickly reach my colleagues and that I am able invite them to a zoom meeting through Slack.
I don't dislike anything about slack - but I wish it was easier to send gifs
Since we are a global organization, communication across all is key - Slack provides this for us
Communication is the best feature for slack as we can break out projects and keep items in their respective channel. We created different channels for marketing, employees, projects, and standards.
I see that they are using more integration with Monday.com which is my biggest issue with Slack. I love how we get notifications on items that are coming due on a project.
We have eliminated using emails for internal conversations. IT helps with internal conversations not accidentally getting to the client. For example, we've had one internal conversation accidentally forwarded to a client. That doesn't happen in Slack!
Can access slack via mobile too. It makes it esay to get hold of any conversation at any time.
Slack huddle sometimes lag but its okay with the rest % of uptime.
Collaboration issues in the work from home has been simplified with slavk
1) It's been almost 4 years since I am using Slack and it is very beautifully designed and functioned. 2) Transfer a large amount of data very easy. fast, and reliable. 3) 1 to 1 chat, group chat, and discussion on the channel is quite useful features of Slack. 4) You can also edit your sent messages.
Although Slack is a good communication software to use for a single and a team if there will be a video call section like Zoom that would be a great plus point.
1) Slack offer very easy communication with every team member inside your office premises. 2) You can even install this on your mobile and can access it anywhere and you don't have to be available all the time on your machine. 3) File transfer is very easy now whether it is a small file or a heavy file.
Everything about Slack is the best. It is pretty fast and smooth! I use it for like 10h on daily basis. Absolutely love this software!
Nothing kuch really. But a suggestion to them would be to add customizable emojis.
Our business conversations/chats take place on Slack. Love the concept of channels, both public and private. Love it.
Slack's team is constantly improving or adding new features.
It is hard to tell. Probably the price; as we grow, it becomes expensive.
We have improved our internal communication. Also, with guests (other companies), we have created more efficient workflows.
