Easy to use communication tool to work with different teams - remote, in house etc. Must have for product / project managers to organize all communication on projects by channels (public or private). Another great feature is Later that let you to use Slack as Task Manager and prevent forgetting some important messages in tons of other ones. It also can be integrated with almost all environment (development, design, project management etc.) Canvas can (latest feature) can be used to keep channels members informed about most important things like roadmap, meetings follow-ups etc. One more thing - Huddle is also a nice tool to speak with colleagues in one click (literally).

Nothing to dislike, almost all features working fine and as expected.

With just a click, the user is able to communicate to the other colleagues. This has increased communication in our organisation. The platform has nice and well opperating features. It's a great platform for remotely working companies.

The platform has been incredible. In use of two years, I have not yet disclosed any dislike.

Slack has helped us wirk remotely sending and receiving information in real time.

I like that the platform keeps employees connected in real time while telecommuting. We don't always have each others phone numbers or emails but the Slack desktop version and mobile app helps coworkers to ensure they never miss a beat.

The Slack app could be more mobile friendly. Sometimes I read messages on the computer, but they still show up as "unread" on the app on my phone.

We're solving that work from home problem with slack. It helps to streamline our company's communication just in case an employee misses an email or announcement.

Great notification arrangement both on Desktop and mobile device. Very easy to create a channel and go ahead with discussion. Easy to add team members in the Channel and make them upto the speed.

Sometimes it's not load easily when my internet bandwidth is low :( I recommend to make this application more feasible for low internet speed :D

Helping to communicate with the team , creating easy polly, meeting rooms (channel), setting up reminders and follow ups. Was able to handle a very large group of employees in one channel and give control who can message and not.

The ability to create numberous channels and group these channels together has been great for out organisation

I love quickly searching and messaging co-workers, using the mobile version, and seeing all the threads I haven't caught up on yet. It is easy and reliable to use on the go and so quick from my computer to jump on a huddle and hash something out for a project.

I don't like how much battery life the app uses on my phone as well as how many notifications I get at times. I always have to turn them off when I'm on vacation otherwise it will blow up my phone and battery life.

Team collaboration and communication. File sharing is also easy on Slack. It has made my team much more efficient and able to align on projects.The new features have improved efficiency on projects for me.

Ease of use and the quality of the calls.

I love the product and do not have any feature that I don't like.

It helps us connect with everyone in the organization without seeing the member in person.

Slack is an absolute must for most companies. It allows for quick communication, easy file sharing (even large video files!), and disbursement of information. You can set up channels based on specific groups, which makes it easy to share information with just those needed. Pin files or messages to the channel, making it easy to find them later. There is an awesome feature where you can "remind me later" and then set a time when you want Slack to remind you about it. Or "save for later" where you can take messages and use them to create a to-do list that can be marked complete when done. You can even use different Slack accounts and easily navigate between the accounts to keep items separated. i.e. an internal Slack account with your company and another account with other companies that you do business with (clients, vendors, etc.) You can DM a specific person or smaller team. And of course, there is the integration of gifs, emoticons, photos etc which help keep communication fun! Our agency uses this everyday, all day.

Oftentimes communication can move very quickly if you have a large number of people in a channel. Messages could get easily lost in the conversation. However, with the new integrations of the save for later and remind me, this is helping to manage that issue.

Communication! Being that we have employees around the globe and working from home, this makes communication so easy. File sharing is quick and easy. Even large files are sent without compression, clogging inboxes or exceeding file size limits. Plus, with the integration features with Google Drive, Fellow, Asana it allows us to easily link to tasks, drives, files and more with a nice preview function. If there is an issue where not everyone in the group has access to the file, it will let you know and easily adjust permissions in Slack.
