Slack is a game-changer for team communication and collaboration. Its intuitive interface, organized channels, and real-time messaging make staying connected with colleagues effortless. The ability to integrate with other tools like Google Drive and Trello adds another layer of convenience. Whether I'm in the office or on the go, Slack keeps me connected and productive. It's simply indispensable for modern teamwork. I use Slack every day and I am very happy with it. Also, I cannot forget to mention the customer support, who is very helpful!
I can only mention one thing that I dislike, which is pricing, since it may be a little expensive.
Slack completely overcomes the distance barrier between colleagues, who are working in different countries, which is a great advantage.
Working using this application is really easy for me and for my colleagues. I recommend it to everyone who owns business and wants to have a nice place to communicate.
The price is a little bit for the pro version.
Helps my coworkers to have a strong and needful connection.
Slack is a very comfortable application, which allows the whole office to communicate quickly and easily. It has many integrations, making it even more useful since integrating sites like Monday.com or Google Calendar into Slack is a very nice thing to have. I use Slack every day to communicate with my colleagues at work. Having different channels for different topics makes navigation through information very easy. Overall, it makes communication between different rooms and even countries much easier to discuss work-related matters.
I cannot think of anything negative about Slack. It is a great tool for making office communication easier and more comfortable for co-workers. I can only say the pricing, which can be a bit too expensive for some.
Being able to chat instantly to co-workers who are working in separate offices, rooms or even countries is a game-changer. Also, Slack lets you create different channels, meaning information is not lost and you do not have to scroll infinitely through unnecessary messages. It is a very comfortable tool for office work.
Slack provides a central platform for team messaging, where you can create specific channels for various projects or topics, making it easier to track conversations and stay organized. It also allows for direct messaging for private conversations, supports file sharing directly in the chat, and offers powerful search functionality to quickly find past messages and documents. Additionally, Slack integrates seamlessly with a wide range of other tools, such as project management apps and calendars, enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
While Slack enhances team communication, its high message volume can be overwhelming, and managing notifications effectively can be challenging, especially for larger teams considering the cost of paid plans.
Slack addresses the challenges of scattered team communication by centralizing chats, files, and project updates in one place, which streamlines collaboration and reduces reliance on emails, thus enhancing overall team efficiency and productivity.
The ability to create numberous channels and group these channels together has been great for out organisation
The recent additions with the latest update offer no additional value to our organisation
Enables us to stay in touch with remote workers
Slack is used for making communication with the genius mind across the world. To use and implement it with out software as a pipeline model is very great. For a mnay of the projects we have to integrate to get it update on the client side. It provide so many features like file sharing, real time mesage update, callinngs, support many apps and its use is so smooth that it become a part of the office culture . The frequency of use and the value for money this app is that make a very good deal with any tech indusry ever want.
The rate of notification this app give is like disturbing and or that you can contact the support team for the customer . They can help you with that so if you buy a workspace they can help you.
Slack is used to connect us in real time with the people across the work and there are many apps that do the same but as a professional tech person this give us that simple and minimal enviornment to use this . the number of feature it provide is more than sufficient for any of the user and admin panel. Its file sharing and calling conferencing is a good approach i like the most.
I believe the first thing to love about Slack is its availability on desktop , web browser and on mobile application. This has made Slack simply accessible to me as a user from just about anywhere that I am. I must also mention the vast integration compatibility of Slack with important third party softwares that I use daily in the workplace. Integrating Slack with third party tools for me, makes work easier as we are able to form automated workflows by making different tools to work together, thereby ensuring we are getting more value from our software stack.
Personally, I have misgivings about Slack's tendency to bury conversations in my left sidebar, whenever I start a new message with a colleague. This makes old conversations quite tricky to find , especially when I cannot remember whom I had a specific conversation with , making advanced search a lot less effective.
Slack contributes hugely towards keeping everyone in my company in synchronization. Slack brings a bit of informality to work-based conversations , making them more dynamic and enjoyable. Most importantly perhaps to me, Slack provides me with a variety of options through which I can connect with my colleagues and this makes remote collaboration and communication on Slack, lot more flexible.
Slack is the most effective application when compared to other communication platforms. I love the variety of themes and layouts they offer. The newest version's overall user interface is stunning. Their support for private threads and channels is ideal for your teams' need for privacy and group discussions.
I can't say that I dislike it, but the cost of plans went up recently. I noticed that the mobile app version experienced lagging. In comparison to other messaging software, the quality of video calls should be improved when speaking with clients.
You can integrate a wide range of apps on Slack, including Hubspot, Zapier, Confluence, Google Drive, and more. The best feature of Slack is that it allows us to safely connect with teams and clients on the same formed organisation. Second, we have Slack webhooks integrated into our product, which allows us to directly log faults in our private channel in the event that something goes wrong. It's awesome that we can track projects and assigned stories/jira on Slack with the Jira integration. Slack allows you to automate tasks as well. For example, we've automated employee leave information, making it visible to everyone first thing in the morning who is expected to be absent.
