Slack is the top choice for teams to communicate. It provides a virtual workspace that helps teams maintain open communication in a business environment. With Slack, users can host voice and video calls with up to 15 participants and even screen share with a desktop app, empowering better user interaction. Slack also supports options for private and group sessions, and one of its best features is Slack Huddles–an informal meeting space that lets you directly talk to your channel where you can share screen side by side with your team. The platform integrates well with Dropbox, Google Drive, and Trello as well.

Slack kept the team in contact. Fast and efgicient.
Nothing. Slack was an awesome product. Kept the org connected.
Quicker collabration.
Ease of use, group channels for client or project
Switching between different slack accounts isn't super intuitive
Less emails, faster communication
Easy navigation, feels the same way we use other social chatting apps, no hustle everything right at the place.
I have not come across any dislikes in the slack.
Calling out for help through slack and problem solving over conversations within slack. connecting through colleagues when working home and clarifying things make a major role
Ability to search for messages using search words
Inability to delete multiple messages at once or to see users who are showing as active when they have been off for more than 15minutes.
Slack greatly improved our communication within the organization and being able to keep up with JIRA notifications is a massive feature
Ease of use. Gif, ui, speed. In short everything. Integration with other app
Nothing as much. Slack is pretty good. One thing which can be improved is having direct message history. Sometime I chat with people and then they disappear(coz of limit) so I can't find them again coz I don't remember their name.
Global communication among teams. Integrating apps
Slack allows you to ask quick questions that are too short for email and get replies in the moment. Slack channels are a fun way to build comradery and team culture. Slack calls are easy for short conversations or meetings. Slack integrations are very helpful such as integrations with Google Drive or Birthday bots
Sometimes Slack replaces human interactions. If I can see you across the room as you type, it might work best to just have a face to face conversation.
Slack helps me get what I need in the moment by chatting with collegues in real-time. No need to wait for an email reply. This allows our team to get what they need to keep things moving while still collaborating with others. This has been very benefical during COVID as all employees are working from home and we can no longer walk up to someone's desk with a question.
It is extremely easy to contact coworkers
Sometimes the aspect ratio of the window gets skewed. Which could be the fault of my laptop
Quick and reliable communication with my coworkers as well as a quick means of file transfer and setting up video calls
Slack is easy to use, you are able to integrate it with many applications and add extra value to what you are getting from the tool.
I have nothing negative to share so far.
Instant chatting, instant video calling, document sharing, great integrations with other apps.
I like how easy is to create channels and contact my peers, I use it for work environment and it's great
I don't have dislikes so far, it's been great
We needed a tool to connect the entire organization and create groups for specific departments and Slack allow us to do that
It is more securable, faster and best communication Tool. It support a lot of features like screen sharing, document sharing and alert to user. It is efficient tool for group chatting.
GUI can make better and user friendly and structured Product is not as reached to the people.
For training purpose we are efficiently used for participants reach out quickly to share the use case solved by the participants.
It integrates nicely with many services and is widely used for support and remote work. It is also good that you can use it as an app on your computer, phone, or in the browser.
It is not always easy to manage access to channels. If you are not the admin of the whole slack system then controls of a channel may be restricted and you cannot remove the channel or make changes to it. Channels are typically either public or private and no variation between. The video chat and controls are not the best.
It really helps make sure people are reachable and that conversations can happen even if not everyone is able to be part of the same meeting.
The ability to create multiple channels and invite only needed parties is amazing.
I do not have anything I could complain about here.
Finding past information searchable with keywords, or better yet, "pinning" the information in a channel for quick reference later. The benefits are endless as it integrates with different software we use daily and slack is always finding ways to improve and make life easier with reminders and use.
Slack is very user friendly for anyone, even those who aren't tech savvy. Whether you use it for just communicating internally, or with your clients, or use their add ons to optimize performance, you will love it. You can search easily, edit your messages quickly, and get alerts based off your needs as an employee. I highly recommend this for anyone who has multiple offices, works remote, or has more than a few employees.
The only feature I feel needs improvement is the search feature within a channel or person to person message. Sometimes it just pulls in too many results and it's hard to find what you are looking for.
I've worked for multiple companies that have more than on office. Jumping on the phone every time you need to talk to someone across the country just isn't plausible. Slack gives you a quick and easy way to communicate regardless of location.
The way Slack has managed to advance team collaboration is the best thing ever.
Slack on my end has got nothing to do with flaws.
Team collaboration has been advanced. File sharing.
I like how easy it is to start a chat and or group. Sending and uploading links or pictures is really easy.
Sometimes accessing the notifications could be a little easier. I have the hang of it, but I wish the button was more so in the front.
I am seeing more benefit with slack than any other messaging services like Skype or chatter. It is easier to use and I like the interface way better.
Channels are the Best things in it or support available for languages to connect. You can set predefined starting message for your team members. You have the best emoticons. You can also set alarm.
There is nothing that you can't like about slack.
My biggest problem to get notify if my training has been completed or not or some error is there, where slack come into picture. I got notify in slack that my model training is ended or there is some error. I am thankful to slack , it saves a lot of time.
The first thing is it has a very clear interface. I love the group chat features where everyone can discuss anything in an organized manner. I also like the way it sync's with your google drive and help to send docs and file.We can connect slack with different kinds of project management tools and if we make any updates.
The only thing I don't like with Slack is the process to start a new personal chat and member search functions. it makes it a little difficult to digest when you start using Slack.
We are been solving a lot of team conversation problems and client conversations when we have overseas clients. The team conversation helps us to streamline the functioning of our projects. We can connect slack with different kinds of project management tools and if we make any updates on the tool everyone in the slack gets an update and this thing helps a lot when too many people are working on the same project.
no time to value delay. very easy to use. intituitve and time saving having centralised referencable info
depending on compmany size you´ll rapidly run out of space and then it starts adding up
remote working team co-ordination
Different Groups can be created, screens can be shared. Customize file type sharing policy can be implemented. Ex our organization allows only jpeg or png to be shared, you can not share xls file
Nothing that i disliked about this tool.
Slack can be used for focused communication among different workgroups, like our company has created a Channel for QA, A separate channel for Development Team etc.
All the features slack provides to download and send files
Sometime it's annoying to receive all the notification and I wish I can turn it off
Sending large size files have been so easy wish slack and that is the benefit for me
