very helpful with lead generation and mapping technologies to customers, it helped us a lot to build better knowledge about our customers and potential customers
nothing really, been using it for a few weeks and didn't come across any
Knowing Technologies used by customers or list all potential customers using specific technologies
Wappalyzer quickly identifies technologies used by websites using a browser extension. This is incredibly handy when researching partners
I wish the plus API had more than 250 credits.
- Identifying technology stacks in use on partner sites - Finding contact info quickly - Gathering detailed business info
I like the speed of technology finder on Wappalyzer
literally enriching 1000s of people in minutes
We use wappalyzer to enrich our lead lists
The Chrome extension accentuates and adds value to my existing prospecting and research processes. I save time and energy otherwise wasted through context switching between my browser window and a separate application.
None that I can think of or comment on at this time. However, I am a comparatively light user of Wappalyzer compared to others, so perhaps other users have more valuable constructive feedback.
I can quickly and easily understand the technologies used on; competitors' and prospective customers' websites. In addition, we can understand what components contribute to beautiful websites and apply elements of those to our website.
I think the best way of this software is that if you want to check your competitor's website's detail then it provides wide and deep information about that and it will help you to make it better than your competitor.
this could be the best tool if they provide a source of data that it shows about any website like from where we can get that theme or plugin etc.
This is a game-changer for me when I got this because it help me to beat my competitor and give more information about their website to my customer also. It increased my customer satisfaction.
Technographics data is very accurate and they have a variety of filters to help me get very accurate data
Takes a little time to get the results , and not all sites have contact info
Finding potential clients that exactly fit my requirements that I couldn't have found using any other tool
I like the accuracy with which Wappalyzer informs the user of almost any technology a site contains, so if you ever wonder, this is an excellent and no-cost option to look at.
There is nothing that bothers me about this simple extension. Maybe there is, and is something inevitable about free software; Wappalyzer is starting to display ads or promoted service inside the extension windows.
When browsing the way, I step upon beautiful sites with fantastic user experience, so I'm always concerned about how they achieve it. Wappalyzer is at one click to give me the answer in almost every query.
This simple chrome extension gives you the ability to search for individuals software in one simple click. The main reason I use it, is to see what kind of a web-builder people are using as my company integrates with WordPress mostly.
There's certain pieces of software that it's not able to pick up unfortunately. Working in ticketing, would be AMAZING if it could pick up ticketing company software but that's getting a little ultra-specific so see why that likely won't happen.
The problem of not knowing what kind of a web-builder people are using is solved with Wappalyzer. The benefit is, I no longer need to search through pages of code or recognize things by visual cues.
Their support is amazing. Got outstanding from Elbert. What I like about their platform is that it can use it when I am not connected to the internet plus this plugin doesn't slow down my computer (browser).
Wapperlyzer is simply the best. That's it.
I am able to lookup website technologies faster. I don't have to leave my tab to perform a lookup.
The simplicity and accuracy of the information.
Some of the information is a bit overwhelming for non technical users and isn't 100% accurate for some basic types of sites
Allows us to see what technology a site is built with and its version to help our sales process and also our technical team to know if we can work on a site.
easy to use. just add plugin for your browser and it shows what's running behind the web applications like what server is used
there is nothing to dislike about this app
finding out the technologies used
Constantly at my company, we are researching and analyzing websites from all over the world. Sometimes you find and unique sites, so to understand and give us an idea of how it was made, we just click or Chrome extension button, and we get some helpful information about it.
Although it provides accurate information, there are too many technologies that it doesn't recognize right now. I hope they can improve their programming languages and other platforms databases available to stay up to the trend.
When exploring the web excellent user interface shows up, it leaves my team and me eager to understand which programming langue, technology, or framework these sites use. So with a fast click, we can get a rough idea of what's happing there.
I love the fact I can find what technology a website is using. In my role as a business developer, being able to approach customers and mention possible pain points is really great.
There's nothing really to dislike about this tool. I had an issue with a particular version a while ago, but the developer was quick to issue an update and customer service were really great when I had to contact them about that problem.
Seeing what payment providers' websites are using helps me approach them and speak specifically about what issues I'm aware of with specific providers. Having that specificity in my initial contact is fantastic.
Easiness of use and the support is very fast
missing addresses in lead lists, but the support tried to help out
My main use is to figure out what kind of online shop (technology) is in place on several websites
