It's a great way to find potential leads for my marketing agency.

The filters that are available for creating lists, and an understanding of what the results will look like. This helps me determine if I have the correct criteria in place and I'm going to get the expected results that I'm looking for.

I wouldn't say this is a downside, but having to pay credits for a small amount of data/and small sample from the list is a lot. This is great competitive research and I would use it a lot more often if the price point wasn't so high. I think that Wappalyzer has a feature now that you can pay by credit so that it on a more need basis rather than signing up for an entire plan. I think that makes a lot more sense because I like to use this feature - but I definitely don't have a need for it all the time, its really just when I'm doing research.

They take the time out of competitor research that is often asked for by clients. I could go to each competitor's site and fill in the appropriate information that I am looking for manually and it could take me hours, or depending on how much data I need for the research I'm conducting it could take a few days. This takes that time out of the process and allows me to get a very usable and clean list that I can edit, optimize and gather insights from very quickly. You can't really put a price on the amount of time this can save.

The dashboard is very easy to navigate. The indexing takes a reasonable time, the team is very responsive.

Finding qualified leads in no time..

I've been using Wappalyzer mostly for technology lookup and monitoring changes in the competitors' tech stacks. It's extremely fast and very useful in identifying missed opportunities and generating or filtering leads.

The keyword research tool is limited to industry-specific single keywords. It would be really beneficial if you could use it for long-tail keywords for companies operating in specific niches. Also, I feel that CRM integration should be included in the "pro" pricing plan

The technology lookup tool is very efficient and useful and the support team is quick to answer any question

Easy to use and beautiful, the filter options are very good.

Maybe the loading times for the lead lists could be faster.

Market Research

UI is slick and it is easy to pull a list.

Some features are not intuitive, such as uploading a CSV of already downloaded lists. It hasn't worked for me. Web site traffic data could be more accurate.

Sourcing leads is a lot faster

Fast and accurate tool for enriching websites. I had a matching rate of over 85% of all uploaded websites. However, of the 85%, not every technology has been identified.

I had trouble uploading my csv, as something, I guess, my European formatting couldn't be read by the system. But Elbert changed it in the backend and reuploaded it! Very nice Service!

Problem: I didn´t know which technologies websites are using. Benefit: Got good insights about the used technologies + some business information.

I can easily see which eCommerce platform a brand is using. I can see also what other integrations they are using. We have an open API, but this helps highlight direct integrations we already have built out.

Nothing- It is straightforward & easy to use. You can also see what other plugins they are using on the website.

I can identify eCommerce platforms of prospects. That helps me position my pitch & know what value adds to focus on. I can also highlight ShipBob partners they are using- drives that ecosystem of partners all in one place.

Wappalyzer was very easy to use, and the info was generally accurate.

Wappalyzer is amazing extension where we can find out what website are build with ,I am using it frequently in my job and it saves alot of time .it's easy to implement just an click and you got all details.I would like to appreciate their customer service

It's bit costly as compare to other but yes it worths too. Rarely it doesn't gives us correct information

Fantastic for finding more targeted leads compared to many B2B databases. I have used BuiltWith before but found it more difficult to use, and it also costs much more. Also, customer service is excellent and spent a lot of time to help me figure out a tech stack to find leads for my services. Definitely recommend this tool.

For me, there's nothing I really dislike about Wappalyzer. It's an excellent tool.

Finding leads based on technologies.

I love how easy wappalyzer is to navigate and identify customer tech stacks. I mainly use chrome extensions to easily surf the web and identify potential clients.

There really is not anything to dislike at this point. Maybe it is possible to figure out if a client has a certain pro version of some applications If that information is available.

It solves my pre-market research when I meet with clients. Knowing about a client's website or tech stack helps me. neither solving problems and relating to the clients

I've never seen a tool as thorough as Wappalyzer. The level of detail and information is phenomenal.
