Featured Snippet

TL;DR: A Featured Snippet is a summary of an answer to a user's query, displayed at the top of Google search results, providing quick access to relevant information. It aims to give users a concise and direct answer to their question without them needing to click through to a website.

A featured snippet, also known as position zero, is a special box that Google displays at the top of the search engine results page. It contains the most relevant answer to a user’s query, which Google takes from one of its indexed pages. When a website content becomes a featured snippet, it gets a massive boost in traffic.
