available, cheap courses to help start or advance your career. Its also very easy to use and can access the courses anytime anyday 24/7 with numerous features and easy integration
it can be abit slow at times especially with courses needing peer review
Cheaper education and qualification costs
Useful courses and certification available
Not all courses videos and certification are free
Knowledgeable
The interface is intuitive, no prior knowledge is required to use it, it has a wide variety of good quality courses to meet the needs of any type of profile. the costs are accessible
I did not find any course on the design and implementation of PMO (Project Management Office) which is one of the topics that interests me, in fact there is little content in its competitors as well, so I think it is a growth opportunity to attract clients with similar profiles to the mio you need to learn about this topic
During the pandemic I found out about the existence of coursera, when It launch multiple free courses, I started doing them and they helped me a lot in the development of knowledge and skills, especially in times of uncertainty, until now I continue to use it and it continues to add value to my professional development
Coursera offers many online courses on multiple topics allowing users to learn from the comfort of their homes. Coursera partners with top originations to offer high-quality courses which provide learners with valuable knowledge and skills.
One of my dislikes about Coursera is the limited interaction between the users and the mentors. I think coursera should find a solution to interact better with the users.
Coursera makes education more accessible by providing courses over online platform. Through Coursera, I can learn from the top organisations; hence, I prefer using Coursera when I want to learn about new things. At the end of the course they also provides with the certificate that shows that I have completed the course.
Coursera is a great platform that provides certifications for various programs from multiple disciplines. the certifications are genuine and authentic as they have tie-ups with renowned universities around the world.
The process of peer review of the assignments is a bit slow. You have to wait for the reviews sometimes. The course fee is huge for some of the courses. So, Coursera is a bit expensive.
I am using Coursera for better learning of my discipline and enhancing my skills and updating my profile with the new course certifications which are equally valid as certifications from a university.
Coursera provides a number of courses from various academic domains and it equally provides the relative content to learn them. Certificates provided from various foreign universities hold a good value.
The review process for the assignments is a bit slow, we have to wait to get them reviewed, secondly, there are no grades mentioned in the certificates which won't define the level achieved.
There are many courses available with free content so you can access the content and learn new technologies even with certifications which is the nice thing about coursera.
I have learned Initiating and Planning Projects, Fundamentals of Management, Six Sigma Advanced Define and Measure Phases and Digital Manufacturing & Design subjects from coursera till now. I have improved my knowledge from this platform continuously.
As such nothing to dislike in this platform besides we can increase the number of hours of sessions or practical sessions that can be introduced during the courses. These things help we can also learn practical exposure too.
1. You can decide your learning pace at your convenience. 2. You can build upon technical/communication/practical skills you already have—or learn something entirely new as we know today's time is total artificial intelligence and the internet of things.
definitely that they provide great courses with financial aid, which makes everybody can use their platform, also the advantage to audit the course for free if I didn't get the financial aid yet
They have some courses not up to date, that's the only thing I dislike. Otherwise, it's an excellent platform
it helps me to learn new skills to change my career
I've been using Coursera probably since its launch date, and it's been very interesting to see it evolve! I currently am using Coursera through my college UNT, they partnered with them so my bachelor's degree is 100% online.
I understand why their content library is so large now but I also think they should be conscious of how this could be detrimental to them. For example, Netflix has tons of shows and a huge library but that doesn't mean that it satisfies its users. I think Coursera is kind of heading down that rabbit hole.
It's helped me learn much and improve areas of expertise and areas of interest. It's also going to help me achieve earning a degree which has been a lifelong goal.
I love how you're able to do the work at your own pace (other than some quiz due dates). The way everything is set up is amazing and super easy to use.
Really the only thing I don't like is you have to pay for some courses, and to get some certificates, but that's reasonable.
Instead of having to find books and in-person courses, I can learn some initial stuff online, which is amazin.g
The courses are self-paced. The instructors are usually active in discussion groups as well and respond to any queries.
Auditing courses doesn't let us view quizzes. Even if we don't get certificates, we should be allowed to attempt the quiz.
Courses range from Beginner to Advanced Level. So you can learn a completely new topic or concept right from scratch and keep building on it.
Coursera offers a wide range of courses that can be completed at the student's own pace. The courses provide practice problems and coursework that is applicable to real life, making it a great transition for those who are looking for a career change or those looking to gain more knowledge within a particular skillset.
Coursera has pre-recorded instructor videos, which is helpful for individual pacing but also lacks in authenticity. It would be beneficial to have real-time videos to have questions answered immediately rather than having a bot respond within a couple of business days.
Coursera is providing opportunities for growth within many different industries. These courses are completely legitimate and are easy to share on business profiles such as LinkedIn to help users connect with more individuals and find positions that fit their career goals.
Design of courses is very intuitive. Quality of video, blog, discussion forum is very good. Being most popular globally, it has participating learners from most of the countries of the world. This helps in getting varied perspective on topic. Most of the popular academia are participating and providing free course and accomplishment certificates. This helps in being confident on the topic you learned, you know that you have learned from one of the best institution who is working on that topic.
Popular courses should run more frequently. Coursera should take suggestions from learners on future topics to be included. Looking forward for more topics on ART, CRAFT, MUSIC etc...
I work in Information management area, coursera helps me learn (get high level knowledge) many newer technology in this area. I do not need professional certificate rather I need knowledge. Coursera's free courses are best I could ask for
Most of the courses are free. They charge reasonable price for a professional certificate. More than all that, they offer courses which are really useful in the current scenario, with which you can actually get a job as well.
One thing I disliked was, it is really tough to call their customer care and talk to a person.
I solve coding problems by learning courses that coursera is offering. It also gives confidence to switch careers.
There are a lot of professional courses offered, nice user interface and there's also a free 7 day trial function. Also the e-badge function where we can integrate into the LinkedIn profile.
Free trial could be longer, so that education might be free for more people.
Learning a lot of new knowledge and skills. The trainers there are mostly clear and good. The badges are a sweet touch to acknowledge your knowledge.
It suggests different online courses and gives a free trial for each.
There are some courses that need to be updated.
It helps me to explore different specialization, get a good online education. The courses also provide certificates.
Variety of courses really broadens our knowledge. Stay home and study on your own pace. Good exercises and practice set of quiz help to exploit our intelligence. Very friendly tutors from big universities all over the world.
Some animated background while in the classroom which I found to be very distracting.
learning a lot in data science to cope up with modern companies needs and on my way to build a worthful CV to elevate my credential to get a job in the near future.
Coursera provides me with helpful lessons in various fields, especially when I could not find the course I can learn in my academic program at university!
There is nothing that I dislike about coursera.
Coursera gives me a chance to engage in e-learning effectively. It not only gives you a video lecture but it also has quiz and other collaborative assignment in a forum platform. This helps make you get to know other people while still studying. Coursera also builds up this forum in order for students/learners to explore ideas other people have within a same assignment.
I love that you can learn pretty much anything for essentially free (unless you want a certificate which is just an additional reasonable fee of about $50 or so). You can either improve your knowledge to help you with school or just learn for fun. It's also a great hobby for anyone who wants to gain skills in something they could not have the time or money for otherwise.
I have no complaints because it is such a valuable website with endless opportunities. Great for anyone interested in or involved in academia. Also amazing chance to meet like-minded students and faculty and bounce ideas off each other.
I am improving my knowledge for medical school and the courses available (physiology, neurology) have improved my grades in school. I am learning so much more than I would if I were just engaged in school by itself.
Wide varieties of topics are covered. Suggestions are available online. The removal the of data from Not. Do day
Disconnects quickly. Available are all sorts of meteral the data are not complete and clear sometimes. Only superficial knowledge
Rich in knowledge. Train and let everyone get benefit of the.
