I love the fact that Flodesk has so many different aesthetic templates to choose from and you can really make your emails beautiful and on brand!

I don't have any downsides to using Flodesk! It's the best! I *would* love to see some additional features added though, like a calendar view where you can see to schedule your email content to your list.

I had used countless email marketing platforms that were NOT at all user-friendly and had very limited customization options.

Flodesk is simple and beautiful. The designs are great, and the opportunities to send emails that pop are amazing. I was very pleased to see the new analytics released that provide Flodesk clients with more information to increase engagement with their lists. Fantastic work!

I wish that there was more data on the CheckOut feature. Unless I'm missing something, analytics there don't allow you to see who on your list is checking out your CheckOut email, so you aren't sure who to follow up with. Instead, it just lets you know how many people have come to the page

- incredibly aesthetic inside the platform. Previously, I was designing our newsletter on Canva and uploading to Mailchimp, which took me entirely too long to format and size correctly. Not to mention the pain of linking to other web pages or PDFS - you can embed your own photos, or it connects directly to unsplash for free - The reporting and metrics are top-notch -you can host your PDF file directly in Flodesk, previously I uploaded it to Google Drive, making the link public, and then pasted that into the newsletter - segments and audience types are easily color coordinated and you can tell who is included in what audience at a glance - One of my favorite features, lead capture forms included - but the BEST part : everything is included in one price! Honestly, I haven’t found many things to NOT Like. -You can send from two different email addresses in one account, I do wish there was the option to add more email addresses under the same account. - There’s no app, so I have to open it from Safari on my phone. - it’s not spam-friendly, so I don’t load bulk lists of random people you've never connected with, or random lists into the system. They will flag you as spam very fast and kick you off the platform.I have an audience of about 5K in the platform now

I love the templates that are available on Flodesk! There are a variety that I can use for different purposes. It was also easy to integrate with my website.

I have not found anything that I dislike about flodesk other than not having a mobile app. I hope this is in the works.

I am able to easily create emails and schedule them, this saves me so much time. I can also see who is actually opening the emails to create better segments.

I love the visuals. It looks great, both from the user perspective and when people receive your emails. After trying a few different platforms I found Flodesk was the easiest to use and is great for setting up workflows and segmenting your audience.

There isn't really any downsides for me with Flodesk at the moment. The analytics was quite simple to begin with but after a recent update the analytics are more comprehensive and I can track everything I need to.

It helps solve the problem of reaching out to my audience in more personalized ways than general social media, helping me create more of a community and staying in touch with them regularly.

It's pretty simple, but you still have a lot of space for individuality. It's easy to handle and navigate. The design/layout of the Newsletter are so minimalistic yet so stylish and presents high quality. I like that a lot! It's easy to use, fast to understand, and within only a few hours, you can send a beautiful Newsletter to your clients. I LOVE IT!!!

There is always room for improvement. Everyone works differently, so everyone has different needs. There is definitely still room for more individuality in special regards. I have already submitted a few requests and feel they slowly but sorely are working through them all.

It allows me to stay in contact with old, present and future clients. I use it to keep them up to date and show them they are still vital to me. Not everyone has time for a personal connection with every single one of their clients (especially the old ones) but Flodesk enables this in a very suttle and beautiful way.

Excellent customer service, whenever I have an issue I send a request and get a response back within a few minutes. Simple interface which make it uncomplicated.

I wish there was a better way to define the audience and segment, tag better but other than that it gets the job done.

Once we designed the email the way we wanted, its been so simple to write our newsletters and send them to our audience to get more traffic back to site.

I've been using Flodesk for over 2 years in two of my businesses, and I love it!! It's so easy to use. I've tried Mailchimp, Covertkit, you name it, and Flodesk is my fav.

Every downside that there was they've changed especially that they've now added an analytics page. They are ALWAYS improving.

What I love about it is that it's unlimited contacts and emails. There are no surprise charges, and you get everything included. The templates are also so beautiful!

Flodesk has been the email software of my dreams - gorgeous design, simple interface, and easy to navigate. Since their initial beta, I've been a member and have never even considered moving to another service once signing up.

Previously I would have said I was frustrated at the lack of analytics Flodesk offers, but as that was just roled out, it's not lacking anything I desperately need.

Flodesk allows me to send consistent newsletters to my list (a core part of my email marketing strategy). I can create designs consistent with my brand, filled with the content my readers expect, making the entire brand experience seamless.

I love how easy and intuitive Flodesk is to use and how many beautiful and customizable templates there are to choose from. I also appreciate that you can copy previous emails and use them as a template to quickly and efficiently create new emails. I also have found the customer support to be friendly and helpful.

I don't have many negatives regarding using Flodesk. I haven't any other email platforms but I have no reason to shop around or switch. I would recommend Flodesk to anyone.

I think they could improve on their analytics. They just released an update, but I wish it was easier to click through on certain issues. I would love to see quickly, at a glance which customers have unsubscribed, when, after what email, etc.

I have been using Flodesk for a couple of years now. I started off doing essential emails; a short three email welcome sequence, and then infrequent emails around once a month to my base. I have recently changed my strategy: I now have a longer sequence and am sending out communications more frequently. I have seen a huge difference in my open rates, as well as engagement. And while yes, most of that is due to the work I have put in myself, I wouldn't be able to do any of this without the use of Flodesk as a tool. I was a previous Mail Chimp user and hated it. It was clunky, hard to use, and I as a graphic designer by trade, I thought my emails always looked terrible and weren't a reflection of myself or my brand. With Flodesk, that has completely changed. Not only is the interface easy to use and really intuitive, the emails I am able to quickly and easily create are clean and well-designed, again, with little effort on my part. I read through some of the reviews before writing this, and I am baffled by people reporting that Flodesk is hard to use or that they're really unhappy with the platform. I truly don't understand it and have been a really happy customer since day 1. I will never leave!

The Customer Service & Support team are super communicative and supportive in their answers whenever I need to troubleshoot something-that is very important to me!

Right now I wish that they had more versatile options with Segmenting and Tagging, but I understand and realize that they are a growing company (they are fairly new-I mean like 5 years old right?) so they are still growing in so many ways! They HAVE offered and grown so many amazing features that I have grown to admire and appreciate in my own email marketing strategies!

Well, I am a small business owner and Flodesk helps me stay connected with my community. I can stay connected with the three different members of my group (I serve as a family photographer, branding photographer, and a systems/workflow educator for creatives) so I am able to communicate effectively with all three groups! Also, Flodesk has helped me out with my launches for the education side of my business!

Affordable! My previous provider was hundreds of dollars per month and it kept going up. Workflows are super easy to set up and the templates are GORGEOUS.

The only issue I've run into is excluding emails currently in workflow from my regular newsletter. You also can't filter by multiple segments.

My open rates with my previous provider were abysmal. My emails were just going to spam. With flodesk, not only are my emails getting delivered but people are opening them!

What I love most about Flodesk is that it goes beyond a standard email service. You can customize your user experience to match your branding, add photos, links, and anything you might want to include in notices to your email list! They even have a check out option if you want to include sales directly in your email! Being able to create visually appealing messages that are on brand in a way that is efficient and easily duplicated makes the process not only fun but simple. It's really one of the most fun aspects of my business because of this!

The one downside is that it is a separate application but I've looked into the email solutions that are integrated with my website and they just don't compare. Flodesk continues to be a no brainer for me.

I had used Flodesk for years and loved the ease and beauty of the templates, the great font selection and functionality. I was swayed to another platform by a web designer and immediately realized I'd made a huge mistake! The only issue I've ever had is once in awhile the text section will glitch if I've been editing a newsletter for a long time -- I simply have to exit out and resume, the glitch is fixed.

I write frequent emails for my blog and my retail business and I love that Flodesk is always offering me the best and easiest ways to do this! The format is simple and beautiful, there are great template options, and it makes setting up forms and workflows so easy!

I really love the intuitive set up because I have had so many tech challenges with the free platform I was using before. With Flodesk I was able to figure out my first opt-in page and my workflow within 3 hours. The customer service care is also excellent.

The downside was the pricing which I did find slightly high for my stage of business but it's well worth it for how easy and inviting it is to use the platform.

I've owned a business for 8 years (two different ones). There are a lot of emails that need to go to clients and flodesk is -hands down- the best one I've tried. I tell all my clients (also business owners) to switch to flodesk because it's easy to ise, beautiful, and seamless. I love the pop ups and workflows.

Flodesk is easy to use and looks beautiful. It has made me really love creating emails and checkouts both. I see some complaints on here but don't really understand them. I think sometimes people don't know what they're doing then get frustrated and blame other people when there is usually a simple solution. I have had no issues. My payouts through stripe for the checkouts have been timely and prompt. My email opens keep climbing higher and higher all the time and I get compliments on the emails. We use the checkout to sell courses. I even created courses by using the checkout. I think it's awesome.

I like the new analytics. It lets me see how are performing and I can make improvements for better performance in the future. We have sold many many online courses using their checkout It allowed us to build a beautiful campaign to explain to customers thoroughly what we were selling. We've sold a lot through it. Simple, intuitive, affordable, very beautiful software. I love using Flodesk for my email newsletters! The templates are beautiful, they just released extremely robust analytics (that blew my Mailchimp account away), and it's very easy to use, even for baby beginners like me. When they added custom fields to their forms feature, I was able to start personalizing my emails which has increased my engagement rate quite a bit. I don't miss most of the features I used to have with Mailchimp because the pricing is comparatively low. I also use Checkout for selling a few of my design templates. I've made thousands in sales in just a few weeks, so that makes me a happy camper!

I would love to be able to connect more services to Flodesk without needing something like Zapier. They currently have limited integrations so I use Zapier for triggering emails from my online shop. It would be nice if there were more integrations included with my Flodesk subscription.

The best thing about Flodesk is its aesthetics. Most people switch over to the platform for that reason alone. It has super robust features for still being in beta and I can tell right away when I receive an email from someone using the platform. Even if you want to create a super straightforward email design, the wide range of fonts and block color/padding customizations will elevate a simple design without much effort. Another really great feature is the ease of use. It's drag and drop with simple delete and duplicate actions and there really isn't much of a learning curve at all. Analytics are clear and easily accessible. Creating workflows (funnels and campaigns) is super simple to create, edit, and implement. Migration is simple. Customer service is quick and friendly. Because the platform is so new you will have eyes on your questions by either the creators or one of the few hires that they have, so it's really personalized service, at least at this point.

I wish the layouts and templates were editable. They are super beautiful and adaptive but I often have content that could utilize a particular layout in theory but as the blocks are fixed, don't exactly match up with the photos I'd like to use. As a designer, I also wish there was an option to upload my own custom fonts. I like to use fonts that aren't common to set myself and my clients apart. To their credit, Flodesk did a great job of adding both common and uncommon, really aesthetically attractive fonts to their site for your use.

Flodesk is a great email platform. I switched over to it from Mailchimp and chose it over Convertkit. You can schedule your email campaigns ahead of time and the analytics are easy to access. It is also so easy to create funnels with their workflow feature. Super simple and zero learning curve.
