The newest update has made it much easier to use. I have been using Data Hub for about 7 years and have seen many updates. This is easy to navigate and I am able to assign my GTINs quickly.
I would love to be able to download barcodes as an .eps file. When I started using it 7 years ago that option was available. Now I need to use another program to get that file format.
We have hundreds of skus and this site allows me to manage and create new ones as needed. Our product line is ever growing so I need flexibility in adding new products easily.
Easy to use. Offers virtual webinars on how to use the Data Hub
Does not offer free videos of past webinars
Haven't has any problems with GS1 US Data Hub.
It was easy to use also easy to understand, espcially not knowing much about bar codes.
i felt like purchasing what you need was confusing for someone who doesnt know much about barcodes/upc
it gives you registered barcodes/upc codes for products
I like that I can get my UPC Codes here. It works and it's hassle free. The service is reliable and hasn't let us down. We get all of our UPC codes here and you should too.
The website layout always throws me for a loop. It is because we aren't using it every day so it's like a brand new service every time we have to generate Codes. I eventually figure it out though.
We produce new Styles twice a year and need to registar them and generate UPC codes. We have been using GS! for a bit now and it has work out well for us. Our larger vendors require the UPC code and we can do that now.
We like Barcodes. We put them on all of our products now. If you need to generate and register your UPS codes....GS1 will make it happen for you. It works for us. They even have tutorials and a bunch of webinars and stuff as well.
The user interface is not very easy to get around in. I get lost looking for where to go. But we only ever use it to make UPC codes and that's like twice a year. We don't use it much so chalk it up to inexpirence.
Most of all of our big retailers REQUIRE UPC codes now. GS1 was our go-to spot from the get-go. If you want to swim with the big fish then you have to put on your swim trunks. So we did and we grew.
Making the Barcodes is easy. It is centralized and looking for previously made UPS codes is simple. They are reliable and conveniently located on the internet which helps.
The user interface has changed to be slightly more user-friendly. At least they are hearing the grievances but I still get lost in the setup. After you find the space it works ok but they could get rid of like one more load screen while actuelly making the barcodes.
GS1 Data Hub has given us a platform to organize and create UPC Codes for the entirety of our line. This helped us to grow in the retail market when larger department stores were the next step in our growth.
All in one spot I can use to sort and create my UPC codes
The site is a littel clunky but They have revamped it. I need to learn everything again.
Specifically generating UPC Codes as it is required by our larger vendors and Ecommerce sites.
GS1 is an all in one place to register and store your Product data
the site is all over the place and could be more streamlined.
it has been our number one spot to register our products and after we did it seemed to be universally accepted by our vendors which was great after the fact.
It was exactly what we needed when we had to get UPC Codes
Getting around the hub could be more streamlined and faster. Its a clunky site.
We needed to register our products. This has gotta be the Number 1service for this.
I like the ease of use to create new UPC codes.
I find the graphics of my usage to be a tad confusing.
My company is constantly creating new codes for products and this site assists us in doing so with ease.
It does the job. Do you need to register a bunch of UPC Codes? This is the spot for you. they have a tiered pricing structure which helped us out. and when we needed to grow we just leveled up.
There are too many load screens. I really wish it was just a more concise website. Save this, load the next page, then another to get the download for the UPC image. Too many load screens
Our Larger vendors needed us to upgrade our packaging and required UPC codes if we still wanted to be a selling partner. GS! help us figure all that out. Making new codes is easy enough once you know where to go on the site.
GS1 is a great location to get your barcode. All the services are available on this site. You can add a new item, assign an available GTIN, and then generate your barcode. The site could be intimidating at first but once you use it more and learn how to use it, it gets a bit easier.
What I dislike about the site is that for someone that is new to the site, it can get very difficult quick. You will need to look up tutorials or the help section to have it guide you on certain procedures. I wish the platform is more simpler and includes descriptions of what each action button does.
GS1 US Data Hub helps us assign GTIN codes to our items which helps us to be able to sell our products on eCommerce. We know there are other sites that sell gtin codes but this is the most legitimate method in buying a code.
