It is super easy to use for both my consumers and me, and I deal with the senior population, which loves to tell me they are not techy! Everyone I send videos to has been impressed and likes the video along with my emails. The videos have cut down my back, and forth emails and they also keep me from being on the phone to explain simple tasks or items.
I honestly do not have anything to complain about, especially for the price! Loom is super low cost and effective.
Loom Saves me time on multiple emails. Loom It saves me from having to make extra phone calls. I use with clients and team members to provide better detail instructions that can not be misinterpreted when a video demonstration is included
Overall it's been amazing, I started on the free account then when I realized how much time it was saving me (with making tutorials for a remote team) it was an easy decision to start paying for it. They also roll out new features so I feel they really listen to feedback. I love how easy it is to use, even if you are not tech-savvy it's easy to use. It's easy to organize my recordings with folders and share them with team members and clients. It saves me so much time by creating short screen recordings versus having to have a meeting. It's also low-cost compared to other software solutions. I use it daily and have created 100's of tutorials using it. The ease of use and integration is great too.
I have no cons for it, I think it's great. Even the free account offers a lot.
Need to teach ohter team members how to do something (tutorials) or them asking me questions and then doing a video versus setting up a meeting. So it's saving me LOTS of time, hours really.
It's been so easy to send a video to explain or walk through an example. I've easily implemented this service in my business. It has added more value for unique videos and provides better connection/communication. Before, I didn't have anything to offer this type of communication. I added this to my current systems/programs without any trouble at all. I plan to use this more and more as my business grows. I love the use of AI for titling videos and also for creating a timetable with helpful keywords.
When recording a different screen, I haven't figured out how to see the count down which I fumble with starting the video and have to edit/start over. If there was a small icon like there is on the Loom dashboard, that would be so helpful!
Saving time by eliminating unnecessary meetings. Providing top-level, customized, customer service to clients.
Loom has totally upleveled my business and made it super easy for me to give clear guidance without scheduling a live call. I absolutely love the platform and was able to set it up and use it flawlessly in just a few minutes. It's super intuitive and anyone can benefit from using it. I'll be a customer for life!
I haven't found a downside. The free version is excellent and the paid version is well worth the minimal cost. Keep doing what you're doing!
I build websites, and Loom allows me to do video walkthroughs for my clients to direct them to exactly how their website flows, demonstrate its many features, and Loom also allows me to explain certain design decisions real time so they can see exactly what and where I'm talking about. This cuts down on phone meetings, time consuming emails, toggling between screens, and really streamlines my whole business process. It also makes me look super professional with a personal touch! Love it. Love everything about it.
Loom is a fantastic tool, simple yet effective. I can be on camera or off camera, display my photo or only my screen. I can highlight my cursor for specific clients that may need the extra attention grabber. I haven't come across another tool that competes.
Free version is a little limited but I do see value in the paid version and understand the need for revenue.
I am a technology consultant and often need clients to visualize a problem or solution in order to understand. Loom allows me to send out quick video demos and have an understanding of when they are viewed. This is huge in understanding my relationshi[ with my clients and how much effort they are or are not willing to put into this project.
I recommend Loom to everyone. It's a great tool and the free version is great for small businesses and students on tight budgets. Even the subscription version is a great price for small businesses like mine that need the additional features. Tech support is very responsive, too. It's user-friendly for both the customer and their constituents.
I haven't discovered any downside to Loom.
We use it for training videos on company procedures and to assist in providing explanations for technical issues to support personnel.
It is highly effective for my role as a director of operations, my role is repetitive and while my role is important, it allows me to record guidelines, steps to our contracts and reach several people at one time.
Not being able to share this with the team at the expense of continued upgrades, but is sitll doable. Perhaps have a limited team where the team can still record/or use but within limitations.
It is saving me time, and repeated meetings where that time could be more impactful elsewhere. Its anywhere from 1-2 hours of trainng, contracting and onboarding agents where it's tme consuming, this allows me to move at an aumotaed pace with the team having the ability to message me on the vidoe or via text/email. It's fantastic!
The cost of the technology is very low as well as the hgih level of customer service.
Lacks features to enhance video or url links.
They are allowing me to interact with my customers as if I am in front of them.
