"A great starter chat solution with good potential for customization"
What do you like best about ManyChat?

ManyChat is very user-friendly and perfect for small to mid size companies to create chat bot functionality at a low cost. Content lanes are easy to map, create and edit in real time while reporting and customization features are readily available.

What do you dislike about ManyChat?

There are certain limitations to ManyChat, the major one being it's reliance on Facebook messenger. While most of our target audience were Facebook members, some people were unable to use this feature due to its reliance on Facebook messenger.

What problems is ManyChat solving and how is that benefiting you?

ManyChat allowed us to communicate with our end-user in a succinct tool. ManyChat's ability to provide automated content while also allowing live operators to step in at any moment is very appealing. It also solved for budgetary restrictions with its low price point options.

What do you like best about ManyChat?

It has a lot of options. I needed it to quickly create a bot for responding to leads. Chatfuel was easier to use but Manychat had a pricing model that fitted my needs better.

What do you dislike about ManyChat?

As opposed to Chatfuel which was so easy to use, I found Manychat extremely complicated to create bots with. Maybe it was like this for me since I was used to Chatfuel, but I just couldn't figure out Manychat's 'Flows' options, despite reading their online material. I built several flows and published them but wasn't able to get my leads to trigger them. The 'highlight' of it all was after I created a flow I wanted to later change and clicked the 'Revert to Published' button, thinking all my recent changes will be reverted. It completely deleted my entire work (not only the latest changes) and I couldn't reproduce it. The worse thing was their customer service - I titled my ticket as urgent (I have huge marketing budgets bringing leads to this bot) but they responded over a week later. Then it became even more frustrating since they gave me numerous solutions which had NOTHING to do with my issue. They just couldn't understand what I'm talking about, suggesting that they themselves don't use their product. Exhausted, I asked them to cancel my subscription. They did refund my money for that month, but a month later I found out they actually didn't cancel my subscription and kept on charging me! I went ahead and canceled my subscription myself, and there - surprise, surprise - found out that cancellation is only valid from the upcoming month. So you need to pay for another unused month. This awful experience cost me time and money and only rewarded me back with frustration. Go with Chatfuel.

I've seen a couple of instances of inconsistent behavior from the bot. A message should of been sent but was never sent.

I am building a innovative, low barriers to entry, lead generator that provides a great user experience.

Furthermore, the comprehensive analytics and reporting features provide invaluable insights into campaign performance, allowing me to refine and optimize my chatbot strategies effectively. Overall, I am impressed by Manychat's consistent dedication to empowering businesses through streamlined communication.

What do you dislike about ManyChat?

While my experience with Manychat has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a few areas where I believe there is room for improvement. Firstly, the pricing structure could be more flexible, particularly for smaller businesses or individuals with limited budgets. Offering more affordable plans or additional pricing tiers would make it more accessible to a wider range of users. Additionally, although Manychat provides a wide range of pre-built templates, I have occasionally encountered limitations in customizing these templates to align precisely with my brand's unique voice and aesthetics. More flexibility in customizing templates or the ability to create chatbot designs from scratch would greatly enhance the platform's versatility. Lastly, while Manychat offers excellent customer support, there have been a few instances where I experienced delays in receiving assistance, which can be frustrating when facing urgent issues. Strengthening their support response time would undoubtedly enhance the overall user experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, Manychat remains an essential tool for streamlining communication, boosting customer engagement, and driving business growth. Its intuitive interface, seamless integrations, and robust analytics make it an invaluable asset for any business seeking to leverage the power of chatbots effectively.

"Manychat is the most user friendly tool to build Chatbots. Period."
What do you like best about ManyChat?

The flow building tool is so initiative. The ability to use pick-whips and click to add elements in a non-linear fashion allows a user to take complex designs and build quickly. The Google Sheet plugins has multiple ways to both push or pull data which allows for you to keep data in an external tool. The fact that you can do all of this without coding is amazing.

What do you dislike about ManyChat?

The conditional blocks could use a bit UX work. The view of conditional blocks in the flow builder is good, but the side-bar options are a bit clunky and doesn't pre-populate with already created values. It would also be valuable to be able to send data out of Manychat more easily for analytic purposes. No ability to download .csv data is a bit painful. This means any data you want has to use Google Sheets. Not great multi-language support. Also our target is focused in Myanmar and so SMS is not supported.

What problems is ManyChat solving and how is that benefiting you?

Manychat helps us build chatbot solutions for Financial Literacy in Southeast Asia where where a fast growing percentage of new users are leapfrogging traditional technologies and going strait to chat and facebook messenger. Manychat allows us to quickly spin up solutions for educating users in our market without needing the typical long tech build cycle. We also are meeting our users where they already are which is Facebook.

What do you like best about ManyChat?

I like best that Mikeal and the team are great at listening to the community of ManyChat users and building new features to make it work even better for us.

What do you dislike about ManyChat?

It could have more robust error handling. But it's really not too much of a big deal and on par with other marketing automation tools I've used.

What problems is ManyChat solving and how is that benefiting you?

Growing sales for e-commerce companies whilst reducing their customer service costs.

What do you like best about ManyChat?

I've been using ManyChat for four years, and it has been fantastic for my business. It allows me to easily grow my online presence, communicate with prospects, and build our email list. The platform is user-friendly for both me and my clients. It offers impressive options for creating chatbots with media, external links, and now, with the new pro upgrade, we can generate leads by letting users submit their details. I highly recommend ManyChat for anyone looking to communicate effectively with customers and automate messages.

What do you dislike about ManyChat?

I'm having trouble getting the pro version because my card keeps getting declined. Also, The features are limited, and the pro subsctiption price is too high.

What problems is ManyChat solving and how is that benefiting you?

ManyChat lets me automate messaging and build bots. This saves me time communicating with customers. It also helps me grow my audience and email list. The platform is easy to use with lots of options to customize my messaging flows. Overall, ManyChat streamlines my marketing and communication.
