I have been using Manychat since 2017 and cannot fault it - It does everything I need it to do and more!! for both my own business and my clients. The support is second to none - If I ever have an issue it is looked into straight away and I am kept informed at all times.

Tough question. ManyChat is an outstanding tool for building automated Facebook Messenger bots for pages. Narrowing it down to one thing is a challenge but I will say that the ease of which you can build out a chat "flow" on the platform is great. You can do a lot on the platform for absolutely free which is a huge bonus. There are also, integrations with Google Docs, Email marketing and more that make software a true asset for Facebook marketing.
Ok, I've run into this recently. If you have a bot set up that someone responds to and you also have an automated welcome message as far as I know you can not disable the welcome message. So that means that if the user comments again in Messenger after the initial chat bot conversation, it will automatically fire off messages that are probably not relevant. Even if you send a manual message them first and then the user replies the welcome message fires.
I'm solving the problem of not being able to be everywhere at all times. There are some basic questions that many people will ask and a ManyChat bot will help answer those. In addition, I'm running ad campaign that are driven through the bots which allows for seamless gathering of pertinent information
Intuitive Design and handling. Variety of options is also a plus. The support is also very kind and helpful and usually quite fast with tickets.
Based on the pricing (even in the free version) there is really nothing to complain about.
Entering the Messenger Marketing with an automated / bot approach.
The amount of options when creating a bot is super impressive. We are able to use Manychat to generate the exact flow the clients want, from including media, to external weblinks and with the new pro upgrade, we are also able to generate leads by letting the users submit their details when they are interested and want to take it to the next level.
Not many things i dislike about Manychat. It can get a bit confusing as to which bot you are editing but apart from that, everything is laid out nicely.
Time and Effort. Facebook bots are very simple, but require a large amount of time editing, and coding it for specific responses. When we are working with clients who require complex flows, Manychat is able to break that down for us significantly. We can jump in, create a bot within hours, and show the client the flow and map of the bot.
You can add a new channel to your business through Messenger with it in no time without any developer knowledge.
ManyChat is really popular software that has a huge customer base. Because of the low entry pricing (Free) and the first paid plan (10 USD) it has huge customer requests and if you have a problem the support will be slow.
In my experiance, ManyChat was by far the easiest way to create a Messenger platform. I was able to create a highly effective, personalized chat experience for my users fast and easy. It has by far the best and userfriendly Flow builder on the market as far as I know.
Manychat has enabled me to produce supporters for my page in an exceptionally basic manner.
You need to take a little consideration in the kind of supporter you need to catch in light of the fact that the bot still don't have the knowledge to distinguish this.

I've been using ManyChat for just over a year now and love the ability it gives me to grow my online presence, communicates with my prospects and grows our email list. My favourite features at present are the Facebook comment growth tool which helps me to deliver our digital freebies in an away that doesn't require our audience to have to visit a landing page to get the good stuff. We have been able to use the bot to grow our list within our Facebook group, website and blog post to name a few.
The fabulous free training ManyChat provides is great but very overwhelming and a lot to do so at times you miss out on the important tech know-how because you may have overlooked it. Wished it was broken down into sections that were simply called 'The Tech Stuff - How to'. I dislike how the path of a conversation looks, found it confusing and at times made me want to restart all over again. Found it difficult to also connect the flow when going back to make edits and wished it was much clearer.
It helps us to grow our email list, generate more engagement on our Facebook posts and thus improving our organic reach. It's also a great customer service tool to help connect and offer the best service to our customers even when we're away from our desks.
Love the drag and drop interface - use it to show the rest of my team what the messages are and what the flow is. I also like the ability to send a preview message to Messenger so I can demo this to others. There is a lot of helpful educational material as well that makes is easy to learn about chatbots.
I don't like that you can't preview a growth tool before adding content. For example, if I choose an example popup, it auto-saves even if I don't add any text. Then I have to click back into growth tools and delete. When first starting out, sequences and flows were confusing to me.
It allows us to add subscribers to a Facebook Messenger list and update these subscribers automatically. The conversion rates for Facebook Messenger that we see are higher than for email marketing.
I like best that Mikeal and the team are great at listening to the community of ManyChat users and building new features to make it work even better for us.
It could have more robust error handling. But it's really not too much of a big deal and on par with other marketing automation tools I've used.

Manychat has allowed me to generate subscribers for my web page in a very simple way. This software has a totally free trial demo.. Do not ask for bank data for your test and in simple click you can get to have a robot that generates free subscribers. Totally cool.
You have to take a little care in the type of subscriber you want to capture because the bot still do not have the intelligence to detect this.
Every time someone starts a chat with their page in Messenger becomes a subscriber and this is very useful when capturing new customers.
It has many features that give the flexibility to build a chatbot exactly how we need. Easy to use visual flow builder. An excellent part that I like is that we can create templates and reuse them.
One problem that I face is sometimes, the live chatbot faces some issues due to issues in Facebook Messenger API, like the button is not showing or not working, delays in messages, etc.

As Such, I have not found any drawback of manychat but I hope manychat developer will provide a full website widget without using interfacing platform like facebook messanger
Manychat helps to automate replies related to my business queries asked by users. manychat with GPT API even make it more effective and to the point replies to the user for their queries. So that I do not have to monitor it all the time
The flow for the tool is fairly simple, to setup a reasonably complex chat flow without a huge learning curve. You can take advantage of many built in features to make your chat bot do exactly what you want.
There are some strange restrictions in the flow layout and how you can reuse certain flows. I would be cautious about setting up templates for later use, it may not turn out the way you would like.
I use ManyChat as a Facebook chat bot to try and pull customers into my sales funnel. The better the product, the better this technique seems to work.

What we like the most is the fact that communication is persistent, that is, if we are not present when the user wants to chat, we do not lose their contact information. We also like the ease of designing conversation flows.
What we do not like is that the user must use a Facebook account to communicate with us.
Automatically lead our users to pages with relevant information according to their choice (menus and keywords that activate responses).
I liked the low learning curve as well as it's ease of use. It makes communicating with customers easy peasy. Would definitely recommend
