"Maybe operator error, maybe not"
What do you like best about Tidio?

Being able to see when an active visitor is on the site, and being able to take over the chat when the boot is unable to continue to increase the interactions with the customer.

What do you dislike about Tidio?

I have not got one sin for lead from the lead generating templates that are provided, and that was one thing I was hoping for as I'm a new business myself and run it solely on my own while still working full time. I feel as if they see there is no leads being generated from their bots additional help would be offered. This could only increase sales from me as I'm on the free account.

What problems is Tidio solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm a new business myself and run it solely on my own while still working full time and allowing for an additional lead generating tool would be an abundance of not only support but also enlightening with the opinion button.

"Lack crutial capability for programable answer"
What do you like best about Tidio?

The ease of use of the drag-drop componets to form a workflow. If only I can make a bot with the features I need, I can comfortable leave an installation of this bot behind for my Wordpress site client (layperson) for them to extend the bot I created.

What do you dislike about Tidio?

No Arithmetic Support I need to create a chatbot for a party organising service to help visitor determine their estimated price. I need to collect the number of person in each age categories (age 0-2 Babies, age 2-10 Toddler, age 11-60 Adults, age 60+ Elderly). Tidio has a concept called "Contact Property" that you can store the answer of "Ask a question". Or using "Set Contact Property" to set a property to fixed value. The collection of information can be done with the "Ask a question" widget. Ideally, I can have a "Calculate Contact Properties" node that I can program calculation of another "Contact Property" (i.e. "Price" for my case) from existing ones. Then I can display the property in a bot answer. Alternatively, it would be even better if I have a node that sends all Contact Properties to a webhook that I can program with. Unfortunately, neither of these options exists for Tidio. There is simply no way for me to calculate the actual price based on the previous answers. ------ Missed-opportunity using Decision with Contact Property The Decision widget lack the ability to store the reply as Contact Property. I can use it together with "Set Contact Property", but I need to manually create a node of "Set Contact Property" for each answer. A more usable design would be to allow "Set Contact Property" to set value to the last answer. Then I can simply point every decision to that "Set Contact Property" node without having to setup multiple "Set Contact Property". This design also allow me to redirect some of the answers to other bot response. Again, Tidio lack the support for that. ------ No Webhook Support In general, if would be great if I can send all Contact Properties at some point to a webhook so I can program the answer. This is a flexibility I'd need for more complex jobs. The webhook should provide, at least, all the Contact Properties along with a session ID. Then I can program the webhook to response with whatever logic I want. Sadly, there is none.

I'm wrting a bot for my client's website. It is a party organizing service. They want their site visitor (potential client) to have a ballpark quotation with the help of live chatbot. Tidio didn't actually solve my problem at all. Thou, they have very responsive support through their livechat. And they promised that their developer will look into my problems in the future.

"Not as user friendly as I would like it to be."
What do you like best about Tidio?

I like that the chatbox doesn't continuously pop up on the web page. Visitors can close it but also easily access it if needed. I like that it can be synched with social media.

What do you dislike about Tidio?

It doesn't automatically assign a chat to someone and I can't set limits on how many chats can happen at one time. Also it doesn't display names and only emails and this makes it difficult to know who you are talking to and how to address someone. After hours it doesn't have a location for tickets that visitors put in so they are not easily accesssible.

What problems is Tidio solving and how is that benefiting you?

I solved our operating hours issue with tidio and their response time was pretty quick. At first I was annoyed that I had to do it through email but it all worked out in the end.

What do you like best about Tidio?

I like the fact that you can build out your bots actions and triggers etc in a very customizable way and Ioved the aesthetics of the chat itself as well and very rarely if ever did I have any issues with the chat being down.

What do you dislike about Tidio?

Overpriced for really no reason. There are way cheaper options out there. To add on just 1 additional operator - paying for yourself (as an admin) and then the additional seat for any other operators you are being charged on top of the base rate of just have the chat widget alone. There are way cheaper options out there that even have some features that Tidio does not and some are even free.

What problems is Tidio solving and how is that benefiting you?

I had been using Tidio for a year. Being able to connect with potential agents instantly to get there questions answered quickly was very convenient this actually help the recruiting process go by way quicker.

What do you like best about Tidio?

Tidio's application is clean and straightforward. Setup is easy.

What do you dislike about Tidio?

Pricing is confusing and no longer good for smaller businesses. Tidio is competing with Intercom, so naturally will be geared towards bigger businesses. We were dissapointed that we recieved no reminder from Tidio when it came to annual renewal. We were planning to halt our subscription but didn't get any email reminder or notification (like most would). Once we decided to cancel our account not long after our renewal date, we asked for a renewal. Tidio does not provide any refund, even partial. Creating chatbots for multiple language can get very messy Hubspot integration was inconsistent Our website once crashed and had slow load speeds because of Tidio. We were forced to remove it temporarily until the Tidio team addressed the issue.

Cultivating leads from our website visitors and giving them quick and efficient customer service experience.

"The most confusing pricing options + the most disorganized support team"
What do you like best about Tidio?

The simplicity to setup the bot was nice. However that's where the positive experience stopped

What do you dislike about Tidio?

The pricing plan is extremely confusing. As i mentioned to your support team. Second, I discussed the hubspot integration with 4 support staff, and only one mentioned that the hubspot integration actually doesn't work, except to send the email of the contact to hubspot, and nothing is automated. This was a discussion over two months. As I kept getting different answers, the last support staff ensured that the hubspot integration was native and I wouldn't have any issues. Now that I have paid and set up the bots, i realize that the hubspot integration is COMPLETELY USELESSS. and their support team are trying to tell me that they "told me so". If anyone wants to integrate with hubspot, this chatbot is useless. For a big business that runs a B2B business model, Tidio is an absolute joke. Dont do it

Its supposed to be helping me with lead collection. But in reality is now a massive headache

the ease of use, in terms of setup on desktop browser and mobile, it is very intuitive and in a logical order

The support hold time is very long, and some of the support techs are not digging deep enough to solve the issue.

What do you like best about Tidio?

I am honored that I received the invite to review this product, Have ready more reviews on G2 and liked the fact that they provide authentic reviews. From my experience, I won't review good things because of the gift card; the best about Tidio is the fact that they provide the best live chat modules and good user interface. However, Tidio is not a complete solution for communication within the business; you can't have a knowledgebase, the emails get trapped in the spam folder because the only method they give is the forward method, but you can't update the DNS, SPF, or any record so you can have the outgoing message through your email and this puts the risk on spam as Google will likely block such messages

What do you dislike about Tidio?

The product is too costly because of independent charges and billing; they charge relatively $15/month for three operators. Extra $10/per additional operator, removing branding is also charged independently and even sending email campaigns or creating a good number of chatbots. The whole software is expensive for small enterprises to use while providing more minor services as far as business communication is concerned.

What problems is Tidio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our primary goal was to have a ticketing system, knowledgebase so clients can have more comprehensive knowledge from our resources. Unfortunately, through Tidio, we didn't achieve this. The only benefit we have is the live chat module; we can initiate conversations with clients whenever they need support or product inquiries. Communicating with clients has helped us to gain more sales since customers trust us

What do you like best about Tidio?

I will not just incent buyers because I was invited for the gift card; I will use the G2 platform to post my review based on the knowledge I have about the software. The best thing I like about the software is the user interface. It is easy to find messages and conversations. Still, the services offered. Majorly the live chat is not worth the value or pricing of the software. They provide live chat to the website, but this happens when you have both the web application and mobile application conversations that would appear in the mobile application would not appear in the web application. Let us assume you have software that collects user data through registering; you want now to send an email to one of them, the software of Tidio do not have such a module, and you would need to use another ticketing system; hence additional costs

What do you dislike about Tidio?

So you have been lured into upgrading. The price would seem to be okay until you need to add extra operators for your business to provide enough instant support. They will charge another additional $10 per operator/Month, still want to remove branding, they would again charge you $20 to remove branding. To get the best software, you need to pay independently hence cheating in the game.

What problems is Tidio solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to provide support to clients; Tidio gives such service to our business to communicate with clients all the time. They can(clients) chat with us on our website whenever they need support. However, we have not yet benefited from the software. After creating a good email campaign using their template, you send it to subscribers, and the content get delivered through the spam folder; once you contact them, they do not provide clear information
