GetResponse offers three main tiers in their pricing; Free, Paid Plans, and MAX² (for large enterprises).
The paid plans are also divided into email marketing, marketing automation, and e-commerce marketing.
With the email marketing plan, you can build your email list and deliver valuable information to your audience. You’ll be able to create a website with an unlimited number of landing pages to generate signups. You can also segment your subscribers, but only based on the basic information you’ll have collected about them. This plan works best for those who don’t need complex automation, like small businesses, entrepreneurs, bloggers, etc.
Pricing starts from $13.30/month for 1,000 contacts if you choose a 2-year contract and increases to $19/month if you want to pay monthly. The price also increases depending on the number of subscribers you want to accommodate, from 1,000 subscribers to 100,000 subscribers.
If you want to include more advanced automation settings and segmentation, then this is the plan for you. It includes all the features in the free plan, and email marketing plan, as well as trigger and event-based sequences to collect more data on your audience. You’ll be able to create automated email chains so customers can receive personalized emails based on their behavior and preferences.
Additionally, you’ll get access to the webinar builder so this plan is typically great for B2B and tech companies that want to nurture their leads.
Pricing starts at $41.30/month for 1,000 contacts (2-year contract) and up to $59/month for 1,000 subscribers for a monthly contract.
This plan includes everything from the two previous plans and includes web push notifications, abandoned cart recovery, product recommendations, transactional emails, and promo codes. Of course, this plan is beneficial if you want to increase sales for your online store.
The pricing starts at $83.30/month for 1,000 subscribers (2-year contract) and goes up to $119/ month for 1,000 subscribers if you’re paying monthly. It can get quite pricy if you climb up to 100,000 subscribers, as you’ll be paying $700/month.
GetResponse is a great and affordable tool to help you upstart your email marketing campaigns. They have other offerings that are all designed to complement core features and boost your presence online, including a selection of builders, for websites, landing pages, and even webinars. GetResponse also has a customer support team that is always available to help users onboard and address any concerns.
However, don’t forget that there are still other email marketing software options available—all with their own set of unique features and tools. Be sure to take a look at our wide range of software categories to find the perfect software that your business needs.

No enough newsletter and autoresponder templates
1) Distribution of our content worldwide 2) Increased brand awareness 3) Ability to track engagement of our messages 4) Ability to segment more likely customers/prospects
Always adding more features. The most recent is conference hosting.
There is nothing I dislike. What will anyone dislike a system that is always seeking ways to make things simple for its clients?
List building. With the addition of Landing page creator, there will be no need to look for stand alone landing page creator at a higher cost.
The ease of use with setting everything up. The layout is clear and simple, and it makes doing things that could be complicated easy. I especially like the layout with setting up autoresponders and how easy it is to create good looking emails.
Some of the menus and navigation could be improved. It would be nice to be able to create more advanced segments for lists, such as creating a segment that includes people on certain lists and excludes people on other lists.
It's helped me reach people quickly and effectively with minimal hassles.
I like that it is easy to create great looking emails with the built in templates and it is easy to modify the templates and build your own. Makes your emails look professional.
I would like the ability to move email addresses from one list to another based on actions they perform, like making a sale. Maybe you have that feature but I haven't been able to figure it out if so.
Well its all about more sales and this email software helps me do that with two main features. The autoresponder is great and easy to use. So simple to set up, and I get extra sales as people progress through it. Also the survey feature is nice. I just started using it but Ive been using it to find out what is wrong with my current products and in helping build new ones. and people are more likely to answer multiple choice survey questions than respond to an email. so it helps in product development too.
I have been using get response for over two years. I really like the perfect timing feature that gets the email to the customer when they are most likely to open it. The ptice was good for our company. We were just getting into email marketing and the previous system we used was harder to set up and get going.
There could be some improvement with the flexibility of the templates for the positioning of the text and graphics. Also when posting to facebook it posts the footer address instead of the content block.
Getting email out to my customers on a regular basis. It has definitely been eye opening how important it is to get in touch with your customers on a regular basis. There is social media but with email you are able to deliver your specific messages to your customers without filtering from sites like facebook. Our next step will be working with market segments to make sure we are delivering the right messages to right people. There is a lot to know about email marketing and we are reading about it everyday to stay on top of it. We will soon be tranching into videos and I hope we can incorporate those into the email marketing plan as well for our customers.
I like the different forms and tools that Get Response has. Especially the Autoresponders, email pop ups, and the exit popup. These help us to gather new clients and retain current clients. I like that I am able to schedule when the emails go out - that way I can setup several emails and schedule them throughout the month.
The ability to work within and change the layouts is a bit clunky at times. The exit popup does not seem to work correctly - ie when you move to the side of the page to scroll down you get the exit popup. We use Big Commerce and the integration is ok but at times does not import emails on a regular basis. I have to occasionally check to see if it is up to date.
Keeping our customers informed and promoting our online business.
Customer support is very responsive so I'm not left stuck with any issue.
I wish the system would show a flag when the same email/subscriber shows up on multiple lists.
I need to send weekly newsletters to my readers, and to keep expanding at an affordable price. The emails that go out look better and sharper than the ones from my former email management company.
In today's outrageously poor tech. support, Get Response stands out as an exception. Not that I call often, but when I need to, I never have to wait long, and there is always a very nice and knowledgeable specialist who will do all what it takes to solve any issue or question I might have. That is totally valuable for me.
I wish the Landing page would be really mobile responsive.
Reaching my subscribers. This allow me regular and interactive communication.
Time Travel option: It sends the email on the specified time of the day according to the location of the subscriber which is a great option. Superior Autoresponder options. Reports of subscribers plus email tracking. Integration with other platforms such as JVZOO, Zaxaa, Optin Monster, Insta Builder, etc. + API integration option. I have personally used it with JVZOO and it successfully integrated into it capturing the buyers emails correctly into the specified list and without having to require a double optin. I also have used it with Zaxaa and it very easily integrated with the specified list and successfully added all the buyers instantly into that list through single optin. I have also personally did integration of Optin Moster with GetResponse through API but in this case it required double optin and did not allow single optin. Also ease of use is a very important factor. It has a very small learning curve.
Nothing really! I don't think I dislike anything in GetResponse. Although it would have been really great if it had more options such as built in shopping cart like InfusionSoft, but then InfusionSoft is way more costly than GetResponse.
I am getting connected to my target market using GetResponse, emailing them with free content and also selling related products to them.
GetResponse is very easy to use and has an excellent 'Autoresponders 2.0' feature which gives you a calendar view of your automated email sequences that you can easily visualize and use to build full email follow up campaigns. The interface is very modern and easy to use. They also have a landing page builder service that lets you create landing and lead pages for your campaigns. Email deliverability is very good, skipping the spam box. But the best part is that GetResponse is much more affordable versus the other big e-mail marketing services out there like AWeber.
Some of their templates aren't responsive/mobile friendly, and they have limited pre-defined text for the confirmation emails that go out to confirm your user's email address, most of which mention GetResponse and provide them with branding. I prefer them to be completely in the background and not mention their brand in my emails.
I provide emails to my customers through automated follow up sequences, and have found it much easier and efficient to build a follow up campaign through GetResponse than most other services I have tried.
Easy email marketing Easy promotion& sell
It's monthly based subscription and it should be annual based subscription plan and it should have attractive discount offered to attract customers
Easy e communication with the clients and customers.
Easy to use interface Powerful automation tools Wide range of email templates Excellent customer support Affordable pricing
Some features can be complex for beginners Limited reporting capabilities Not as many integrations as some other platforms
Landing pages: Create high-converting landing pages to capture leads and grow your email list. Marketing automation: Automate your marketing workflows to save time and improve efficiency. The platform is affordable and offers a wide range of features to help businesses grow their email lists, engage their subscribers, and track their results.
Ease of use, affordable price, customer service.
No notification when you go over your contact limit.
Email automation funnels.
GetResponse boasts a sleek and user-friendly interface that makes navigating its various features a breeze. Whether a beginner or an experienced marketer, the platform's intuitive design ensures you can easily create and manage campaigns without feeling overwhelmed. One of the standout features of GetResponse is its exceptional email marketing capabilities. The platform provides a wide range of customizable email templates, making creating visually stunning and engaging emails effortless. Additionally, the drag-and-drop editor allows for seamless email design while advanced automation tools streamline the entire email marketing process.
GetResponse's pricing can be high, especially for small businesses or startups with limited budgets. While the platform offers various plans tailored to different needs, the cost may still be prohibitive for some users, particularly those just starting out or with smaller subscriber lists. It would be beneficial to have more affordable pricing options to accommodate a broader range of businesses. Although GetResponse offers a wide range of email templates and landing page designs, the customization options can sometimes be limiting. The predefined templates may restrict users who want to create highly unique and personalized designs. Enhancing the customization capabilities and providing more flexibility in design customization would significantly enhance the platform's appeal.
GetResponse provides a centralized platform where users can manage various marketing activities, such as email marketing, automation, landing pages, and webinars. By offering these tools in one place, GetResponse streamlines marketing operations and eliminates the need for multiple disparate systems. This centralization saves time and effort, enabling users to focus on their core marketing strategies and campaigns.
GetResponse provides an easy-to-use marketing automation tool that enables users to create automated workflows to engage and nurture their users. The platform allowed me and other businesses to create workflows based on user behavior, such as email opens and clicks, website visits, and form submissions.
GetResponse offers A/B testing for email campaigns but it does not offer this feature for marketing automation workflows. This means that users cannot easily test different versions of their automated workflows to see which one performs better.
GetResponse is one of the great platforms when it comes to email marketing. It really helped to create an automation and further gain a good number of email lists for my site a
GetResponse has an intuitive interface that is easy to use, even for beginners. The drag-and-drop email editor makes it simple to create professional-looking emails without any coding skills.
Its pricing is relatively expensive compared to some competitors, especially for more extensive lists or advanced features.
I am using it for Automating Email Marketing Campaigns.
I have used this software to deliver emails and magazines to subscribers. Emails can be typed in one time and scheduled for later. It was one of the most straightforward software, fast and hands down the best autoresponder.
It is vital to upgrade with time, so adding more features that give users more flexibility for plugins will increase customer intake. I would
It made building an email easy and helped me push my customer base more. The scheduling of email feature saved a lot of time for office staff.
The software was very user-friendly, and I was able to set up my email chain fairly quickly. I like how you could use special codes to automatically select the person's first name.
$19 a month was a little expensive for me since I was just starting out in the marketing world. If you are unestablished marketer and can afford the $19 a month I would say go for it.
Not having to take out and send individual emails. This really streamlined that process for me. It eliminated a lot of the administrative tasks I was having to do.
I love getting to use the chat for customer support whenever I need it.
Occasionally, customer support refers me to an article already created about my problem. This makes sense, but I love it best when they really listen to me about the individual situation and break the help down into steps.
GetResponse makes sure word gets out about my services. Without them, I'd be at the whims of social media algorithms. Not dependable or enjoyable much of the time.
Easy to use for beginners because of interface
Segmentation help because not able to track events
Good for startup, pricing and usability
