I've really enjoyed MailChimp and have had several employers switch from other more clunky systems with great overall team satisfaction. It's also more affordable than some of the others, which is an added bonus. The templates are easy to save for later, you can send test emails to as many people as you need to. Even those who are less tech savvy can manage to get a decent outcome.
Figuring out the automation piece seems to have a higher learning curve, it's something I had to step in and correct for some of my team members.
The fact that my scientists could post their own drafts for their blogs and newsletters was amazing, I could just go in and add graphics/ fix text formatting to make it pretty.
Mailchimp is super easy to use. I use the same template repeatedly.
There isn't anything I dislike about mailchimp.
We use mailchimp to send out our weekly newsletter. We also use it to post to Facebook.
Mailchimp offers excellent email templates.
The reporting features are very limited.
We are engaging with our supporters on a more regular basis now, which in return is help us more interest and support.
User-friendly set up, ease of use, tests
Wish there was more room for creativity!
Benefits: easy to use and reach our audience; Problems: sometimes crashes
Amazing features for smaller organizations like us that are non profit and need a strong free email software program
I think the only suggestion is to add more of their beautiful pre-built themes that I love using!
We are connecting our non-profit to our membership for important updates, events, and meetings!
Mailchimp has a range of templates that make setting up a professional newsletter easy. In addition the reuse of custoemr segments is a great feature.
My biggest issue with Mailchimp, is that I need to export data from another source to use in Mailchimp. It would be great if it was integrated with my CRM.
Regular communication with my customers really enhances their experience. As well as the regular engagement of customers, its a great way to just get important information to you custoemr base in a clean and professional manner,
I like how it is easy to use and cost-effective
While it is very easy to use, I sometimes feel as though it is limiting with what you can do.
Problems I am solving with Mailchimp include communication, engagement and analytics.
Easy to get started Easy to get the tracking you want, like open rate, and click through Easy to modify template and select template if not sure where to begin
Change in free to paid for getting the customer support needed, granted, some tutorials were helpful Oftentimes had to use unbounce or another service for tracking CTR
Two main use cases: Help start up find scrappy, affordable, professional email, and Help large company test new ideas without spending significant money on a professional enterprise level system that takes simply to long to execute and get results on
I like that you can produce creative emails to send to a mass of audiences, and customize the way your email looks
I don't like that it is hard to navigate and sometimes difficult to know where to click to edit a section
Problem solving is being able to reach a large audience, and benefits include being able to be creative
I love that I can send email campaigns to targeted audiences. Mailchimp allows me to keep our 400,000 emails organized so that I do not get bouncebacks, spam reports, etc.
Overall I am happy with mailchimp, but I find that when I want to re-engage someone who has unsubscribed, mailchimp makes it difficult to do that.
We have been able to manage a large list of contacts with mailchimp. We have also been able to create graphically pleasing emails and campaigns.
Mailchimp allows the creation of excellent email marketing campaigns also with the free version
The email footer is Mailchimp branded in the free version, but that's not a proper dislike; if you don't pay, you can't pretend anything.
Email marketing campaigns, automatic lead collection in lists from Facebook campaigns
A/B testing, analytics, easy contact importing, and the Mailchimp and Co feature where you can connect multiple accounts.
Two-factor authentification can be challenging when signing in but I understand that it improves security! Otherwise I've had no issues with the platform!
Keeping all client information and preferences in one place has been a huge benefit. We also love the ability to create segments and tags so that we can target certain groups with newsletters.
Mailchimp is easy to use with drag and drop features as well as email templates. You can also quickly build landing pages for your campaigns and automatically add new registrants from these pages to your email list. This is a great tool for small businesses.
I am happy with Mailchimp. I would recommend it to anyone! Only downside is that in the free version you cannot schedule emails in advance or A/B test subject lines. But for a small business it's enough.
Problems being solved: sending out attractive emails quickly and efficiently, building my email list quickly and painlessly. Benefits: saving time, having all my email contacts in one place.
It's very easy and intuitive to manage contacts and subscription. Also easy to create designs for email campaigns.
Sometimes it can be confusing to navigate through links contacts have clicks.
We manage contacts and contact subscriptions with Mailchimp. While sending emails, we would like to see how responsive clients are to marketing campaigns.
The ease of transmission across database
It glitches more then i would like sadly
Email movement to my clients. I've realized how easy it is to do so
I like that it's free and it's easyI wish it was a little more user-friendly
I wish it was a little more user-friendly
Some problems are that sometimes I cannot upload PDF's instead of JPEG files. My department only does PS so that is a bit inconvenient. The benefit is the scheduling tool. I can create an email on Friday and have it automatically sent on Monday which is nice.
It is very easy to use, you do not have to be an expert
I would like more advanced customizable features
What I like coincides with what I needed: to track the results of emails I send to my subcribers
Audience, campaign, and automation are easy to use
Better custom html integration would be nice
email automation saves time
The templates make it very easy to write newsletters
It could be beneficial if it had more templates
Mass email marketing
Easy to use application with prebuilt templates available. Makes the user experience nice and smooth.
Wish there was more of a way to have more professional looking emails like other email mailing service providers.
We have grown sales by having links to our website and utilizing the tracking and reports to carefully analyze data to adjust marketing.
