Mail Chimp has always been a go-to email service for both personal and business matters.

I don't really have anything that I specifically dislike about it. It works well!

I wish there were a higher video upload capacity. It can only upload up to 50 MG.

Mailchimp has made it easy for us to pump out mass email campaigns while targeting specific audiences. It's become a main source of audience engagement for us.

MailChimp has developed a simple solution to communication problems with customers. We do not need to have expensive resources to send bulk mails to customers and prospects. We upload the client lists and we can build a beautiful communication in a short time, effortlessly, using the available templates, totally customizable. You can reuse campaigns already made. You can still use targeting in these campaigns. We receive alerts on withdrawals from listing lists, and final reports on openings and success rates. Very good solution. Effective, efficient, easy and inexpensive.

In fact, little or nothing can point to service, which is extremely useful, and effective. I'd say it's impossible to ask for better. The price we get is fair. There are other solutions, possibly with larger lists for the same price. But it's good to work with anyone who knows how to do it. If I did not have to pay it would be better, but not fair.

With the mailchimp service, you resolve the issue of being blocked in mail servers, you have templates available, well configured by the communications with consistency and regularity. Programs when you want to send. You keep track of all communications, and you still get a results report!

Free plans for under 2000 subscribers! This is not available with many other email marketing services.

With the free plan, you’re unable to set out out-of-office replies and you have to have the Mailchimp logo at the bottom of your emails HOWEVER their paid plans take care of all of that and it is still relatively cheap per month.

I could create a newsletter and blast it to up to 2000 people for free in minutes!

I love that MailChimp allows you to create your own templates, and to base mail-outs on previously sent campaigns. This saves us so much time on our newsletters and announcements, since we don't have to start from scratch each time. It's also great that you can categorize your recipients, to choose the audience for each campaign. We can specialize a campaign based on what type of staff member, volunteer, donor, or community ally we are trying to reach.

My only issue with MailChimp is that I find the actual list management clumsy and hard to navigate. It seems there should be a simpler way to sort through contacts, or at least a more immediately intuitive one. Also, the feature to batch add many subscribers at once is particular about formatting, and in our case won't accept the output from our donor database, so they must be reformatted or entered by hand, which isn't very convenient. But minor difficulties with list management are definitely worth putting up with, for the ease of campaign creation.

As a small nonprofit, we've always struggled to maintain a contact list and keep in touch with our supporters. It's still a little tricky, since the list is always changing, but MailChimp has really streamlined our ability to target audiences and create campaigns quickly.

I enjoy the freedom and flexibility of the software. Different lists and I’m able to see who and who did not open emails.

Mail chimp is an easy access, easy moving marketing technique that we implemented for wholesale cold calling and business prospects. I like that you only pay as your list grows, so they give help you grow along the way to grow themselves.

Mailchimp has been such an incredible tool for our company's marketing programs. The email creation is simple, yet in depth. Importing and Exporting contacts is incredibly simple. The campaign reporting for sent emails has everything you need to track the performance of your different campaigns. All in all, Mailchimp is an excellent solution for all of your email marketing needs. Plus, they are constantly adding new features and integrations. That's always a good sign.

Sometimes the design process can be a little bit clunky and limiting. Not too bad though.

we aren't really solving any business problems, but it is way more convenient to send out a mass email through mailchimp than it is through a gmail account. Mailchimp is a lot more organized that way.

The low prices are what keep me there. It's free to start as you build your business, then the prices stay lower than the competitors for lots of tiers as you get bigger.

The new user interface/design/colors really makes me not like to login anymore. Also, it is not easy to find a link to chat with support, even as a paying customer

It's very simple, and for the most part, pretty intuitive to navigate. Site is visually appealing and features are distinguishable.

Some of the email list sorting features and options seem a bit clunky and takes a bit of exploring to figure out all features available.

I'm solving the problem of regularly connecting to customers... it's super beneficial to have consistent interaction with them to continually stay on their grid and offer them valuable content.

Best part of mailchimp is the sleek designs you can customize for email marketing. This came in handy when we switched to an electronic letter within our firm. It also cut costs from $1000 a quarter to $0 as out client base did not exceed past the free account option.

I would like to be able to edit formatting for freely as the tools and options are fairly limited.

We have cut all costs from switching to mailchimp for quarterly newsletters from printed and mailed newsletters. We can also track who has open and read the letters to measure engagement.

ease of use & email customize-ability. these are two big areas I focus on. In addition, the reporting has improved over the years giving us a clearer picture of what's working/what's not working.

Customer support - I think this is something that could be improved.

I like how easy it is to save templates and to re-create former ad campaigns. It's simple to change the content, but keep the base of the message the same.

I wish the "list" function was easier to use. I have multiple segments within the same "list" and it's not as user friendly as it could be. It should be easier to make segments under each email list you have.

MailChimp allows us to stay in contact with our local partners. We send monthly communications to all of our local partners and MailChimp allows us to send those communications easily. MailChimp also makes it easy to send communications regarding special events, and collect survey data when necessary.
