I love that the user interface is plug and play. They make it easy to learn with their academy and customer service is very responsive even when ticket volume is high.
At times it is limiting in the way we can visualize different branding elements (e.g., header and footer) without custom coding the email.
They do offer both email and sms all in one but their sms offering is not quite up to speed yet compared to other providers e.g., Attentive.
Using klaviyo, it's quite easy to navigate. One strong point that helps us test is the opportunity to see what a/b test subject line will work. I like seeing whether an email is statistically significant or not.Helps me adjust the way we send and formulate subject lines
I still have my questions regarding the reporting that happens on klayvio. I don't really understand how we can formulate benchmarks as products are so different. How do we understand what types of brands are in category?
Klaviyo is solving the need to create funnels easily, how klaviyo could help more is suggestive sections of what has not been built out yet or setting klaviyo reminders to check on specific flows. IE SET MY OWN REMINDER TO CHECK ON THIS FLOW.
the creativity and blocks i can use for every template. the campaign set up is very nice
i wish the customer support helped with issues arising throughout sending newsletters, examples looking into data sent, etc
there are no problems as of yet. But one, i had issues with delivery but there is no customer support on looking into an issue and helping

We are building our customer communication and interaction by using Klaviyo.
Klaviyo's setup is incredibly fast and simple. No tech or coding knowledge is required. All Shopify events and properties' values sync incredibly fast and give you access to an infinite number of scenarios to run impactful campaigns at scale.
The fact that it's a Shopify only tool. If only all other CRMs could be as simple!
We transitioned from Mailchimp to Klaviyo a few years ago and the change was incredible. We were able to reduce our reliance on paid traffic and improved loyalty thanks to a more sophisticated CRM strategy that Klaviyo actually made simple to execute on.

I like how easy it is to use. Klaviyo does a great job by setting you up with templates and has an incredibly user-friendly interface making email marketing a total breeze.
There is a bit of a learning curve. Their segmentation logic was different than any other ESP I'd worked in. I don't love the logic for setting up flows either, but I think that's just because I was new to the platform. Once I got the hang of the logic I was good to go.
Meeting our customers right where they're at. It's nice to be able to see what kinds of content resonates with our customers and give them more of that. It's also great that we can engage with the customers who want to engage with us.

Integration with Shopify platform and other Shopify plug-ins, such as the Judge me review app and our shipping tracker platform. Mail chimp seemed a bit more clunky and less integratable with Shopify.
The email flows are only triggered based on past events. When we have future date events that should act as triggers we have to creat a separate campaign email. Really frustrating, time-consuming and prone to more human error. Also, wish there was an easy way to pull giftee emails from Shopify and separate shipping details, etc. flows based on giftor and giftee.
Klaviyo is an easy way to keep up communication with our customers and the hints and tips along the way are usually really helpful.

Klaviyo is the best email marketing platform around. Their platform has always been intuitive and easy to use. They listen to their customers and constantly update their system to match their customer's needs.
Klaviyo is still playing catch up on some of its SMS features compared to other programs. SMS pricing looks great however their plan structure inherently limits your segmenting abilities with the active profile limit leading us not to send as many SMS campaigns per month. In our opinion, the ability to integrate SMS into our email flows is worth the pricing, lack of features, etc.
We are increasing our LTV and RCR. Some months Klaivyo counts for 30% of our overall revenue, which helps offset the pain of acquiring new customers with rising social ad costs.
