I love the ability we have to track so many important things. I also love that it's so easy to integrate with a wide range of programs.
It is a pretty difficult process to get transactional emails done, that's why we do it with shopify, and I think you should have regular checks on your domain deliverability.
It's solving the ease of communicating and selling to our customers. That benefits us because we can easily know how we are doing in our messaging. It's also a great way to sell cheaply to returning customers.
Klaviyo is very easy to learn and use well, primarily thanks to its great resources and educational material. Due to the quality of the application, they have become one of the industry standards, which means that users have all of the integrations they need. The flow management and template builder work very well and are quick to learn. One of my favorite features is the universal blocks for building your email templates. Klaviyo's analytics are awesome and really help you to see how well your flows are working. The A/B testing works very well and is easy to setup, and their newsletter signup forms are the best that I have seen yet. To sum it up, Klaviyo has everything that you could possibly need as an e-commerce store marketer and does it all very well!
My only criticisms of Klaviyo are that you are paying a premium for using it over the competition, but that usually the price to pay when using the industry standard as any cheaper option will have a compromise. The support documentation is often out-dated, which can be a drag.
Klaviyo is our email marketing powerhouse and covers all of our needs.
I like the integration features between our primary marketing channels (Google & Meta) and Klaviyo. Not many partners integrate directly w/ so many channels & Klaviyo makes the process fairly simple.
Navigation. It can be difficult to find things like the integration menu. There also seems to be a bug in connecting channels, like Meta, where I have to disconnect & reconnect to enable access from my end. I would also prefer that other pages associated with my Facebook account wouldn't show for other Klaviyo users as they are configuring Meta integrations, like lists, on their end.
It helps us gather data & customer info to better inform business & marketing decisions, as well as maintain communication w/ our community/users.

Email segmentation
The platform is very intuitive and easy to use. The help articles typically provide quick solutions in addition to the chat box. I enjoy using Klaviyo for email marketing.
At times I wish there were more integrations and a better dashboard for metrics. The ability to build custom reports is nice, but ideally, I would like to have the option to build out more interactive dashboards.
Klaviyo is our sole email marketing platform. We use it to communicate with both new and existing customers. The segmentation allows us to understand different audiences and evolve our campaigns or email flow messaging as needed.
I love how use friendly it is to create flows, segment, make updates on the fly. The people behind it are also awesome. But most of all i love the flows!!!!!!!!!
We had issues with deliverability. For that reason we had to switch off but I want to go back if you made improvements. It would be super helpful to have deliverability help.

Klaviyo was able to replace four other services on our site, and in a significantly more effective way than before.
While the product is usable out of the box, it's hard to justify just flipping the switch on with the default templates. The editor is easy to use, but it still takes time to get the nuances of your brand into the messaging.
We've had such a basic email strategy in place for so many years. Adding Klaviyo to the toolbelt is allowing us to rapidly harvest some of the low hanging fruit that we've been missing out on, and grow what should have always been a strong channel for our brand.
It's ability to sync with multiple platforms, ease of creating lists and auto refreshing.
Sometimes the syncing between platforms is strange and buggy, particularly with Facebook and Lead Gen.
Dynamic lists of purchasers, subscribers, etc. so that I can create better audiences to target on Meta.
+ Email outreaches and nurturing can be automated and runs superb. + Only software where email templates are too wide and diverse, but also more suited towards the B2B + In B2C arena, it integrates with almost all ecommerce software. We have done with Shopify, Bigcommerce and even Prestashop and Wix. + Emails have excellent options to customize on simple level. No hard coding.
+ Pricing plans are not flexible and are on higher side when it comes to more members of the list. Initial price is less. + Customer support must be faster and much helpful. Believe me! Some of their members themselves are not aware of quite a few technicalities and complexities. + And boy! formatting of fonts is made hugely difficult. But this is usually a problem with lot of other mail providers.
+ Easily integrable. Email marketing can begin asap and no need to have any other plans faster. Its a quickstart solution. When you have shopify plus, go ahead with Klvaiyo asap. + Ecommerce design and template options are embedded so really no need to hire a graphic person and this saves massive cost. + SMS marketing is hugely advantageous since its integrated already. We have used Twilio later though for SMS but initially amazing to start with.

Sales and email marketing
Klaviyo is great for beginners and advanced users alike. The segmentation and filter options you have for email marketing campaigns are best-in-class and the UX of the platform is superb. Highly recommend for marketing purposes in all types (email, SMS, etc...).
As someone who is a beginner in the e-commerce design and development space, I found it a little difficult to understand some terms and setup options with the platform. Due to its appeal for beginners like me, I think it would be cool if Klaviyo added little pop-up question-mark widgets next to elements of their platform that can explain in real-time what that element does.
Klaviyo is solving the complexity of digital marketing by making it so accessible and user-friendly for everyone of all types of marketing experience. I benefit greatly from their platform because I am fairly new to digital marketing and upon using the platform, I felt like an expert!
Dashboard looks nice.Easy to use, both campaigns and flows.
With custom payment method it's hard to change email distribution between accounts.
Email automation. We are experimenting with different kind of flows (browse abandoned, cart abandoned emailed etc).
It is a great app to organize email messages from our website. We can also use the contacts for our email marketing easily. They realy help you in email marketing and they have an excellent support.
When we created a landing page using klaviyo. It is great that they have that option however options is very limited. I think it is better if they could improve this.
Email marketing, it is easy to target our desired audiences since we can group it right away. The landing page creation is great too since we can gather more emails by creating giveaways in exchange of their email addresses.

It mainly runs automatically, all I have to do is think about newsletters/campaigns.

Klaviyo is clearly built for E-commerce. Its customizable and template options allow you to easily target and drive your subscribers to your shop and/or separate landing page. The pay for active members is very fair and they automatically exclude bounced/unsubscribed emails.
The search function within the database can definitely be improved. at the moment the only way to search specific attributes of subscribers (e.g company, country etc..) is to create segments. A better filter option for search would be a real asset.
Engagement and. re-engagement with our subscribers on an international level. The SMS marketing is also very convenient as it is an overlooked medium by many marketers nowadays.
Integrations, ease of use, from day one. The support is also amazing and everyone seems very helpful and keen to assist with anything needed. The extra revenue added to stores using Klaviyo is crazy
Cost, it is more costly than other alternatives but it is well worth the money but it is top end

It's quite expensive and the ROI is only there if you send a lot of emails. Especially if you have a big list it gets very steep very fast.
