I love that Klaviyo is constantly introducing new features that enhance the email creation experience.
There is nothing that comes to mind. I've been working with Klaviyo for 4 years and it has always been an incredible platform to work with.
Klaviyo delivers all of our emails, triggered and scheduled. Creating triggered emails is a task I no longer dislike because Klaviyo makes it so simple to drag and drop!
It has many attractive templates to consolidate great email marketing work. It has given a lot of continuity and success to the advertising process, there is definitely no better software than this to make the best campaigns. I really like the price, the interface and how fast the software is.
There are certain details that I have not liked, for example the process of integration with software such as Magento has been very laborious.
Undoubtedly the program has allowed us to offer excellent functionality in email marketing. Our sales and new customer acquisition has been increased since we have been using the software. Klaviyo has given an overall benefit, we managed to establish a great compatibility with our interests.
I was originally using MailChimp for my online business because of its easy integration with Shopify and cheap rates. In my opinion, Klaviyo offers better segmentation, customization, and automation of emails. Our open rates are higher, and more importantly, our emails are automated now so it's mostly hands off.
It can take a while to get the hang of without connecting with an agent or taking a webinar. I found MailChimp a little easier to just pick up with no experience, but Klaviyo takes more training, trial and error, and research. Overall, totally worth the switch and time invested.
Instead of manually sending out batch emails every week, Klaviyo has totally automated multiple flows for us and freed up some time. Where Shopify typically only offers 1-2 abandon cart emails and 1-2 welcome emails, Klaviyo gives you the option to build out flows that can keep your subscribers engaged with you for weeks or even months. Our abandon cart reminder went from 1 email to 5+, our welcome email for new customers turned into a welcome series, which frees up time to build out campaigns and one-off emails while Klaviyo does the heavy lifting.
I like this Klaviyo tool because it has a variety of functions that you use when doing marketing quickly and easily. The good thing about this application is that you can configure the emails your way, using a large number of default templates or you can create your own. Also one of its functions that most catches my attention and that I use the most is that of segmentation. On the other hand, I can create a contact list having a greater order on the clients and possible clients of the different campaigns.
I think that the interface of the tool can be improved because if you are a person with little experience it may be difficult for you to understand it, although with a little practice you get used to it and it becomes easy to use.
This tool has helped us to increase our sales and contracts because we have been able to reach more clients and be in contact with previous clients in order to show them our new offers, plans among others. It has also been useful because it has been possible to create customer lists and it helps us to maintain order so that we can work in a better way and save much more time. It also allows us to see how our marketing campaign is working so that we can improve it and see how much scope it has.

Klaviyo is more than impressive when it comes to managing our e-commerce inquiries, and it certainly is a good value for its price. Easy to set up and use, Klaviyo has a very precise segmentation included in its software and helps us get all our promotions enough relevance for our marketing campaigns and it’s one of my favorite tools that Klaviyo includes in the platform. Asides from that, it offers nice functionality among all features and I can choose from existing templates to save time (which all of them are very complete and are not lacking of essential information like other templates), and also create my own email templates that I can use whenever I want for specific email campaigns.
Some of the advanced features are difficult to understand at first, but nevertheless, it is a great software that benefits me in many ways.
My experience with Klaviyo has been positive since day one, and I’ve noticed pretty good changes in my workflow and our marketing strategies ever since. Because it’s easy to integrate this software with others like Zoho and Shopify, we get a lot of advantages from that. Mostly, the process in which Klaviyo works makes it easy for us to send weekly newsletters to our subscribers, send promotional emails and target the right customers every week. While Klaviyo is not the cheapest software out there, I feel like all the advanced features that it offers are worth the price and are really valuable. I really like how the segmentation works in this software and it’s not like any other I have used before.
Klaviyo is super user friendly and easy to figure out, but does not sacrifice any power to do so. You can create templates, use graphics, include copy, and anything else you need. Scheduling and lists make sending emails out super easy, and analytics make tracking clicks and sales super simple.
There could be a LITTLE more fluidity when it comes to layout design, but it definitely gets the job done.
Not only can we plan our email campaigns better, but we can see exactly how they perform! The analytics make a huge difference for small businesses like ours.

Klaviyo is a great tool for creating email flows and retaining customers. It works by allowing you to set triggers and a flowchart. So, for example: "If customer abandons cart - wait 24 hours - send a follow-up email with a 20% Discount". Where Klaviyo differs from other programs I have used is that they allow you to really create a flowchart which is super helpful. It means you can see your whole email flow in one place and seeing it visually really helps.
The only thing I could think of is that I wish I could get more help setting it up. I had to google a lot to understand what the different terms, options, and settings are for creating a work flow. It did end up working perfectly, but would have been a lot easier to get these answers directly from Klaviyo.
Klaviyo is solving the following problem: HOW CAN I GET BACK A CUSTOMER THAT ABANDONS HIS OR HER CART? Or how do I follow up with customers in a perfect manner? Klaviyo lets you solve this by allowing you to set up a flow that can continue depending on the actions customers take. ie - makes 2 purchases - gets email "Thank You for ordering from us twice, here is 2 x 10% discounts for you for your next 2 orders". The biggest benefits we have realized is that our customers keep ordering! Keep spending money!
Klaviyo allows you to see all your "flows" or funnels of email in a nice organizational chart type of visualization. This makes it really easy to see what emails will be sent when and your flow of emails/order.
It can be difficult in the beginning to understand exactly how Klaviyo works and you do need a little bit of training for it to be effective. However, I have seen that most of our associates and interns pick it up in a day or two.
Sending re-converting emails is easy, creating the emails is easy, but creating a perfect funnel or flow for your customer to go through - that is hard. Klaviyo makes it easy. There is also a lot of tips and information online if you use Klaviyo because it is a pretty common tool for dropshippers which means there are lots of free youtube videos on it!
Building lists and segmenting lists has been the most enjoyable part of using Klaviyo.
I wish there was a campaign resend to non opened option rather than having to clone the campaign and build a new list.

All-inclusive pricing including any upgrades means I don't have to budget for the "extras." The help section and videos are informative, especially when migrating to the platform. The integration with Shopify was extremely quick and easy. This also allows me to more easily add products from my catalog efficiently.
The Workflow logic is more linear and not as customizable as I found with Bronto; however, the workflow templates are easy to implement. The transactional customer contacts in my active file are not easily identifiable.
Cost-savings is the primary benefit. The HTML function within the email builder helps customize emails when necessary. It takes less time to build my emails.
It is very easy to create templates and maintain campaigns on Klaviyo. The analytics of every campaigns are also very useful.
Some times the email template breaks when you make a lot of changes. That is something our team dislikes.

I was able to integrate TypeForm surveys into emails being sent via Klaviyo; however, Klaviyo didn't have the functionality to be able to add survey data to an existing email address. This seems like it would be a no-brainer, but maybe not enough people need that specific functionality for TypeForm integration.
The user interface is so straightforward, which allows me to quickly and easily see how well emails are performing, how many people are clicking on the links and also how many sales (e-commerce) are tied in with the particular email blast. I've seen sales spike.
I've used a variety of different email marketing platforms and Klaviyo has been one of the best. It's built for eCommerce and understands the needs for brands when it comes to email marketing and understanding how consumers behave. They have pre-built email automations so you can set up triggered flows quickly and effectively. There customer data is superb which allows for easy, tailored audience segmentation to really target the right audience with the right product, allowing for better open rates and conversions. It's quick to integrate with systems, customer service is strong and having used it with multiple store fronts, you can connect accounts which allows you easily to swap between and more importantly copy email templates over to different accounts which saves time having to build the same template twice. Building a good looking email is simple and it's just been one of the easiest to use, with professional outcomes and data to boot!
One issue is sending a test email, just a couple of occasions the links work fine in the test email but when it goes out live, for some reasons the links don't work which is obviously embarrassing and looks unprofessional and they and I couldn't work out why the links worked in the test email but then failed to do so in the live version... Not really anything they can do about it as not their fault they are based in different timezones from my company, but because of this and lack of 24hr customer support, you have to wait until late afternoon to be able to chat to anyone. They are quick to respond via email, but if you need something urgent, you can't get hold of anyone until the afternoon (GMT) because they are based in Boston
As mentioned above, there have been a couple of occasions where I have copied and pasted a shop url into the email template, sent it to myself as a test campaign, checked all the links to make sure they work, but when the live campaign goes out to the database the links have failed. It turns out that there was an apostrophe in the url which doesn't work with email links. This would be fine to rectify, but the fact the links worked in the test email means it's hard to pick up on an error like this, prior to an email being sent out.
I love the ability to test automation flows compared to other ESP's.
There isn't anything to dislike about Klaviyo. The only call out is that it does take some learning to become comfortable with the platform.

I've been using Klaviyo for about 2 Years from now There are so many things to like about Klaviyo! When first starting out I had no clue what I was doing. I really appreciated that they had all the basic emails already outlined for me. It made it so much easier for me. It's easy to use, easy to integrate and provides awesome functionalities that any eCommerce store could need. Their automated flows (abandoned carts, thank you emails, welcome series) all work seamlessly. Another reason to love Klaviyo is their ability to segment your audience. It's so easy to segment your audience based on their activity and interaction with your website. I have been able to create sophisticated flows with minimal stress and effort. For example, creating segments of customers who purchased product X but didn't purchase product Y, or customers who viewed a certain product page but didn't make a purchase. By having these segments you can send very targeted emails to them, upping conversion rate and the ability to sync custom audiences to Facebook. And to top, it all of they have amazing customer service. Have loved my experience with Klaviyo!
