The automated flows are easy to set up and they implement very nicely; lots of options to customize messaging for customers

Not email template categories could be more robust with more options

All my data lives in one place and I can build unlimited flows based on the user's data history to target them specifically.

Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but the function is more important than looks.

Personalized targeting of customers. They only see things that are relevant to their purchase history and views.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

Klavyio has been easy to use and directly impacts our daily sales. We are a small business and also find the many webinars and speakers offered by Klavyio essential to our growth.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

An improvement to see is more types and detailed reporting. I'd like to see the best times and days of the week for our open rate and click rate. Also best conversion campaign.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving problems of customer retention and loyalty. After watching a Klavyio seminar on Flow emails we started implementing browse abandonment emails by product and including triggers to help customize even further. We have seen an increase in our own customer retention.

Easy to use and self-service platform while also providing amazing customer support.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

It would be great to get more frequent newsletters about new product launches/updates.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Email marketing is one of our largest sources of revenue, so we need an easy and effective tool to work with. Klaviyo delivers that and much more! We also love being able to see SMS and email performance in one platform.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I love That I am Able to set my email and sms on auto pilot. As a business owner who's busy sometimes I lose Track of time and this is very convenience for me.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

I dislike That there is an extra charge for sms photos and media. Most of our customers can relate more to visuals then just texting words.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problem I having is that we have over 5000 subscribers but yet it doesn't same like our emails are getting send out to everyone, even after we select the audience and segments

The price is a bit high and the backend can be a bit overwhelming for small businesses.

the flows + the courses we can get + the Shopify intergration

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

The fact that we can't have 2 shopify store in the same account and have to re create every single email in both account

the flows are really good, we are getting a lot of benefits from it, the number of returning customers we get thanks to Klaviyo is really good

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

Great data, decent attribution model but a little rich, Attentive text is better but we had some issues with data sharing between the platforms so we are back

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

Text is not that robust, pop ups for klayvio are week cant do that much or make them look sick, needs better text features for sure

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Building better flows better retention the automation in email is amazing, text not so much

Reporting and benchmarking More modern pre-built template library Pre-built automation library so we avoid spending times building even a basic one

We were able to reduce the ratio of our abandon cart customers by following up with them We were able to schedule an email and increase our reviews by mail[ing] them about feedback after a certain time period We reduced the number of package status requests from customers by connecting it with Aftership, so it sends an update every time the shipment moves from one place to another Email delivery issues with previous mail services [was] poor, we were able to land more emails [in] everyone's inbox

"The only email solution you'll ever need"
What do you like best about Klaviyo?

What do we NOT like best? It integrates seamlessly with Shopify, with Attentive, and with most of the other tools in our tech stack. Analytics are clear and easy, user experience is great.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

We tried the SMS function and found that it wasn't robust enough for our needs. We switched to Attentive and have appreciated having a tool that was built for the ground up for that function.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed an email system where flows were better than our previous host (MailChimp). We find everything in Klaviyo so much more intuitive and design-friendly. Our CTR rates and conversions have gone up significantly.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I like that the email flows are available to free users and that they are very easy to set up. I've used some other programs where the flows were only available to paid users.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

It is not easy to set up emails that are not marketing emails, like order notifications. You have to do some extra steps that you don't have to do on other platforms that I have used.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am able to easily capture sales that would have otherwise been lost using followup emails like abandoned cart emails. I save time because I dont have to manually set up several different emails since flows are available to me as free user.

The email builder is easy to use. The workflows are visual and easy to build.

As a fairly new company, they continuously improve the tool, which comes with some bugs each time something new is rolled out.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

What I like best is the ability to segment in any way possible. Klaviyo is also super flexible and lets you pull any kind of report that helps you understand what works and what doesn't.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

Integration with ReCharge could be improved. Revenue from recurring orders often gets attributed to an email or SMS campaign which distorted actual results.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mostly to understand ROI from campaigns and creating segments that can be targeted in a highly personalized manner.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I love that Klaviyo allows us to do A/B Testing for our campaigns and integrates with our Shopify store! This has allowed us to build campaigns around specific purchasers based on their spending history and product preferences.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

I don't particularly appreciate that Klaviyo has no phone support for paid customers, and chat wait times can be high. This includes 30 - 40 minute wait times for chat support and 24 hour response times for email.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Klaviyo is helping is bridge the gap between our sales and our customer support. It has helped us create sale flows that target different customer groups based on their shopping behavior, what questions they've emailed about, their destination country, and more. It has increased our store sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

Often times it felt like Klaviyo was more of a CRM with all the fields and customization you could house. It made segmenting easy. Best eComm email I've used to date!

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

I wish their texting solution offered responsive back and forth texting as opposed to just blasting out mass messages and not having reply monitoring capabilities like some others.

What problems is Klaviyo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Personalization and segmentation that's highly customized based on proprietary data we were collecting. We were able to double email revenue YoY compared to our last software.

My favorite feature Klaviyo offers is the custom flows that you can create for email and SMS campaigns.

I hate that you can't embed videos into your email campaigns.
