Pully gave me a quote pretty much immediately, responded at off-hours to questions and onboarding, and had a great price point. They handled the labor of switching off of a legacy platform. I got fully implemented with Pulley in 45 minutes of work over a span of 12 hours.
It would have been nice if you provided more specific instructions on how to close my legacy cap table management software account.
Saving money. Keeping investors and the business organized.
I like the fact that we can use our own documents, especially for options. Combine that and other futures with the competitive pricing and you have a win.
So far I have no complaints about the service or the product.
Pulley makes it easy for investors and option holders to review their equity and monitor changes to the cap table.
No other equity management tool even comes close to Pulley in terms of ease of use, support, features, and best of all - pricing.
I can't think of any downsides. Pulley really does hit the mark for founders.
Everything related to equity - primarily fundraising and keeping track of securities/options.
Hands-on support, easy interface, flexibility to update cap tabel, and cost.
I have been using Pulley for about six months, and I have not found anything I would change to date.
Pulley helps us manage our equity effectively and accurately. It helps us save time and headaches when comparted to our old platform, Carta.
Helps me convert new hires, explain equity value to employees, as well as manage all of existing equity stakeholders! Excellent usability.
Haven't found any yet. I don't dislike anything.
Employee hiring, value explanations to employees, equity management
We are an 18 year old company that has kept our cap table on a spreadsheet. We tried another leading cap table software provider and had to abandon them after 6 months of trying to set things up. The Pulley team was able to work with our spreadsheet and our management team to set things up in a fraction of the time it was taking the other leading company. We were able to get a 409a done from that setup with minimal effort on our side. We are thrilled with the product and the service we have received. This will be a much larger company in a few years.
While we are thrilled with Pulley they still lack a few features that will show our employees the value of their holdings now and in the future. We are optimistic that future releases will provide that.
Moving our cap table online and providing access to share holders
The overall customer onboarding was seamless, and there wasn't a point where I was lost and couldn't find any help whatsoever. If I was stuck, they offered to get on a call and help me guide through everything part by part. In addition, overall, the pricing scheme is the best out of all I researched, and they continue to improve and develop the platform. Huge shoutout to Zyrah and Florence for being MVPs.
None, whatosever. Some parts maybe as a newbie was harder to understand but it was always explained very clearly.
Pulley is helping us easily track all stakeholders involved in the company, who invested in us, who has equity, our ESOP program and our token cap table. Pretty much an all in one platform.
It's really built for my use case as a founders. It tells me what I need, when I need it. A lot of other providers terrify me, there's a lot of functionality I don't necessarily need (or know I need) and I don't want to pay for it until I do. Pricing reflects, was free for me to do modeling, get notifications for 83b and other tax things. They'd only charge me when my startup matured to the stage where I needed a paid service (like a 409A). Customer onboarding was super easy, functionality is there. Support is lightning fast if you need it. I was an early user, gave feedback and had an almost immediate response. Was apparent when I started and even now that their feature development is through the roof -- they're constantly adding new features :)
None so far. I've had a great experience as an early user -- they've grown as my needs have. Looking forward to seeing the product continue to evolve :)
Tooling is built for founders. So for me, it solved modeling before my round (have a tool for that), recording equity and telling me about my vesting schedule (after we incorporated), and telling me what tax things I needed to file (83b). Also the education was great -- they told me what tools I'd need in the future (409A for hiring our first employee).
