It's user friendly, easy to create content, and easy to manage. I like that I can see the last logins, and completed work of team members. It's great for standardized trainings!
The cost. I do wish it was a little more competitvely priced.
Trainual is nice because it has a lot of information in a small, easy to use package. It allows me to reduce hey gotta minute's and work more efficiently.
Trainual allows me to make the team aware of the standard, leaving no confusion on the workflow and steps behind different tasks. As a manager, I value the convenience of not having to repeatedly guide team members through tasks they've already been trained on and I know that they appreciate having a space that they can refer back to for further clarification. I also like that I can update things easily without having to reprint documents and store them in bulky files.
I sometimes find it difficult to categorise items into subjects and steps. I wish there was a way to customise and add additional subcategories. I've also found that making edits to steps can be a bit awkward, and when I export documents, the formatting ends up looking completely different from what I had in the editing mode.
Within our team, we had several members who confidently had very differing views on how a task should be completed. We needed a space where we could have comprehensive and easy-to-understand SOPs so that there would be no confusion.
The organizational layout is really nice and helps make sure that you do not miss anything. I like that they are constantly adding new features. The ownership of the company seems stable which is nice if you are building your playbook and you want to ensure they will be around long-term.
The pricing is somewhat high for a smaller business. It has also changed a few times either up or down, so that causes some anxiety. Other than that, there was not much to dislike.
Trainual makes it easy to document all our systems and processes and helps our team learn everything. It really ensures we are on the same page. Our clients go from "how I do it" to "how we do it."
Trainual solves the problem of documentation. It allows you to document everything, including your leadership structure, company policies, and, most importantly, your processes. The user interface is straightforward to use. Trainual's cost per license is a low rate compared to other LMS available. Trainual allows you to have a free trial, with no credit card needed. Their customer service is also top-notch; Rach had thorough answers, a lot of patience, and a great response time.
There isn't much I dislike about Trainual. I want an option to allow a supervisor to verify that a team member can complete the topics or subjects rather than just being able to see if their team member finished a section. Something to be aware of is Trainual does not allow videos to be stored on their website. Instead, you have to use links from Loom, Youtube, or many other options. Just be ready to learn how to make and store those videos on a different platform.
Trainual has allowed us to create a process-based knowledge system. It reduces the fear of what will happen if I'm not there or what if this employee leaves because he is the only one who knows how to do this. Trainual also gives us a formal training program that tracks where team members are in what positions they know.
I love how easy the platform is to use. The team is incredibly responsive. The videos are informative to help you get completely set up. There is plenty of social proof, and the pricing is fair. I love Trainual.
I have yet to find things I dislike about Trainual. I'm excited to see how the software grows and scales as our team expands. Once you get it set up, it's pretty automatic.
Trainual is solving the issue of having documents in various drives with sharing permissions that could expose a company. It's a one-stop shop and takes time off managers when new employees come on board. There are also a lot fewer questions for HR when everything is centralized.
I like the ability to manage onboarding and training for a variety of employees/employee levels.
Pricing increased over the years and the current plan I have does not allow me to track employee progress toward completion.
Able to decrease the work I have to do in reviewing policies and procedures because I have recorded that aspect for my employees. Allows me to spend time doing other things!
The templates are great. Every question that I've ever asked has been answered. I love the flexibility that I have with building my company's trainings.
While the cost isn't terrible, my company is hesitant to upgrade due to the extra expense.
I've been able to take a very paper heavy onboarding process and make it totally digital. I'm also now writing all the SOP's in the company on this platform. It's great because everyone has access to the same information.
The platform is sleek and easy to use. Native functions are all useful.
It would be nice if there was a sponsored partner (3rd party vendor) that would assist trainual users to build out their playbooks. The templates are great, but an actual hands-on, white-glove experience (for a fee, of course) would be better.
Trainual is helping us to create an organizational chart for our company that is understandable and accessible.
